I will only support the furtherance of acceptance of atheists by the public. However, I must do this alone. When you join a group or financially help a cause you soon find that they have many issues which they attempt to further with which I have no allegiance. Many times I do not support those causes at all, indeed oppose them. Also, I feel many issues which they adopt are without foundation, and exist solely to supplicate some group. Some issues actually work against my primary issue.
