TCA Newsflash

Christian apologist and ego-fed blogger John Branyan made the pages of the world renown Urban Dictionary today from his Indiana home. Branyan, famous among locals as the “little apologist that could”, had few words for reporters, which is rare for the “eager pleaser of the man from Nazareth”. Fame and notoriety are nothing new for the man known as “Brain Yawn”, in certain blogging circles. Branyan Apologist! It’s official! Congratulations John. Although not accustomed to having anything approved, Urban Dictionary set a new approval speed record of 28 seconds. Seems they knew you were coming, lurking, watching, waiting to pounce and mine out any potential opportunity for conjecture. Congratulations!
Yes, it’s rather pathetic, isn’t it.

I’m very flattered by all the attention, Jim.
If you spent as much energy and time thinking about your worldview as you do working up personal insults, you might actually post something of substance!

It’s not an insult. I am in a mood of good humor about it all. You have plenty of time to fight. Enjoy the notoriety. It is as fleeting as a Brittany single. Enjoy it. After all, we’re all on the same team.

He did post something of substance.

It’s good to be multidisciplined and not have all your thought in one basket. Atheism is just a lack of belief in god. Doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun.

Doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun. And BrainYawn is an ideal subject. Besides, he should respect your comedic talents because, after all, that’s his claim to fame.

I could have been a real asshole in this post. Hell, how many people have a word named after them? Also, John knows he’s annoying. He’s even said so. All of us have faults, some are just easier to see. Especially when you write wrong all the time.

Parody or satire is a most delightful comedic tool, Jim. Most people of stoic substance can not only manage it, but can laugh along with it! As Stephen Colbert coined, the words and report have some… “Truthiness“!!! 😉

The best humor is when one can laugh at themselves. Half the jokes I know I use me as the punchline. Good stuff

True. Which begs the question…
Has tRump ever rolled-with-the-satirical-punches? I can’t remember one single time that he laughed at a QUALITY joke/poke about himself! As I remember — since his days on The Apprentice show — he has always been childishly hyper-sensitive.
Maybe I’m wrong. LOL

Ding! Right again sir. He’s very stoic. Like an alpha ape 🦍 as Jane G pointed out.
