“I shall speak forth my sentiments freely, and without reserve. This is no time for ceremony. The question before the house I consider as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery; and in proportion to the magnitude of the subject ought to be the freedom of the debate. It is only in this way that we can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfil the great responsibility which we have. Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense?” –Patrick Henry-
How long must we bow to the untestable, ambiguous, immoral, misinterpreted, oft quoted pseudo knowledge of divisive fable of a god that is created to control minds of the superstitious and believed by the gullible masses? How many prayers must be offered into the vacuum of space without a hint of reciprocity before we can open the minds of those masses and reach meaningful human potential?
If sensible people don’t have a sensible discussion, stupid people will have a stupid one.
And stupid discussions are most common.😂

Probably 82.6% are comments about myths. See, we’re in it too whether we like it or not. It is mental slavery.

I agree with the post. Just one point. You wrote: “If sensible people don’t have a sensible discussion, stupid people will have a stupid one.”. Sadly the stupid people are not only having a stupid discussion, they are trying hard to shout down and drown out the sensible people. Hugs

I’ll have what he’s having.
Dialogue with the delusional at the local reason cafe. Unfortunately for me, when out in public my master, I mean wife, sports some heavy Doc Martins and they hurt my chin when I begin my invectives on beliefs and evidence.
I call them her spurs in reverse.
I’m with you on this intellectually. In practice I lack the self control to keep it civil.

Hahahaha, I have some truly fine followers, and we extend out here and there across other blogs too. Took a few years, but I don’t collect people for numbers ever, only for sanity of sorts, and a very flexible sense of humour. *grins*
