The Necessity of Opposition

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying—Rev 21:4

Imagine heaven—where happiness is the law of the land—that eternal bliss that is all void of sin—with no more yang to counter the yin—no more descending to disrupt ascending—all tears are preempted no sadness therein.

It would quickly digress to the color of grey—an atrophic undefined purposeless way, pure numbing apathy of colorless color, all black or no white, oddly no contrast of what wrong or what’s right. Heaven can’t happen and stay heaven—without hell, so saddle up long for an infinite spell. Opposition is the only that makes being, worth being.

The way to even recognize joy is to have anxieties with which to compare and the opposite’s true too. So quite possibly in heaven we will need to peek through our fingers at an occasional Wild-West hanging or inquisition? Where heavenites gather around mesmerized in *hathos, a morbid curiosity for their burning brothers (out of necessity of course) to gather around just so often to keep themselves grounded to the doldrums of trial free living—how sweet it is at the foot of a gentle tyrant—it could be worse, right? With no opposite to give joy any perspective, death would be the unlimited bore—if the Christian heaven were real.

And only look at those miserable wretches—but don’t touch. Even compassion is stifled in the demands of this heavenly bliss. Rigid, rote, and care-less or else—unable to even water the tongue of the sinner, “because between he and thee is a great gulf affixed“—Luke 16:22 you will look, but only because you will have to remain happy, or else.

*HathosA pleasurable sense of loathing, or a loathing sense of pleasure, aroused by a certain necessity to watch.

Where All the Bad People Are

Things are not nearly as bad as they need it to be.

Americans grapple with evil amid the decline of religious faith”—The Heritage Foundation

Roaming through some end-time prophecy (the doom and gloom stemming from Christian belief) when it struck me that I don’t really know any bad people. End-times are actually better times than ever before.

Even this mild “prophecy” is at odds with observations.

Even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased“—Daniel 12:4

I Just love this sign, because it is clearly pointing to our day today, and it cannot be refuted by anyone”—End-Times Website. We actually have an information explosion, while the depth of individual knowledge is likely at an all-time low.

I also disagree on other points. Prior civilizations have also had varied types of advanced knowledge compared to what we currently have today. Certainly we have a different type of knowledge than at other times, but is there actually more knowledge? And the explosion? What we have is “A handful of real innovators and a planet full of end users”.

The world is going to hell in a handbag”—yet life expectancy is up, infant mortality down, and extreme poverty is down, (way down by billions over the past 50 years) Your chances of living out your natural life (and even beyond that) is greater now that ever before. Seems that god is punishing us with long and prosperous lives in this “wicked and perverse” generation.

I suppose the real fate of the world the rests on the transgendered and homosexuals refusing therapy or celibacy. The True Christian© morality doesn’t seem to be accurate here either, as we embrace the lives of every human life gets better.

I have traveled around this great county to all but one of the fifty states. Good people outnumber bad 100 to 1—no, I dare say 1000 to 1. Rarely ever have I crossed paths with a human that wasn’t just awesome in one way or another. It’s the best of times, but you’ll never hear that from the pulpits or the news selling fear. The Bible prophecies and the preachers are at complete odds with the way the world is trending.

Where on earth are all the evil people?

Rites of Passage

How Christianity cheats the Weyekin through faith

Hope is the lowest level of the awakening state.

The next step is developing a faith that your hope will produce results.

Finally there is knowing. Knowing comes from applying faith and achieving the desired results.

We are currently screwed. Forever stuck in faith—no evidence—no desired outcomes—merely a false sense of enlightenment while the world still fights—that, is strongly evidenced. Divided we stand at the exit door of beliefs, waiting for the promises to arrive. We did all those things, now we near the end of the ride bewildered.

Is it too late to trade for a different model, or do we cling to time wasted like a cherished life-lesson in mediocrity?

Religion has closed off the rights of passage by turning the middle phase to the pinnacle of religious experience. Faith is merely a waypoint, not a destination, now forever stuck in the initiation phase—and the arrival at nothing. A true religion would prepare its members to be independent, to be real men and women of accomplishment through Weyekin, a vision quest, or a meaningful journey to test their readiness.

Even our children in this western culture have no defining moments of passage. They simply sit and slowly osmose their way to adulthood by navigating hoops in a system of baseless protections in nothing but belief, accepting disappointment as their fathers did, for god is testing their faith by cheating us from the final phase.

Now the test is to believe failure is endemic of gods will for humanity.

Are You Miserable Without God?

How Christian writers pen with ignorance.

“You trust in yourself and what you can do. Your heart feels like an empty pit of darkness and purposeless because you walk around this earth not even knowing why you have breath in your lungs. You spend your life trying to fill that emptiness you have with things like sexual immorality, pornography, gambling, drinking, money, or even good things such as family, security, job, and staying busy. Family is one of the most beautiful things given to us by the Lord in this life, but if you have a family without God? Meaningless“. Full Post HERE

Your heart feels like an empty pit of darkness and purposeless because you walk around this earth not even knowing why you have breath in your lungs. You spend your life trying to fill that emptiness you have with things like sexual immorality, pornography, gambling, drinking, money, or even good things such as family, security, job, and staying busy

This is total nonsense. Plenty of atheists have very meaningful lives, including me. On a side note, when Christians first started coming to America they were astounded at the level of contentment possessed in the Christ-less, Native American. I can post some links if you like of many, many first hand accounts of the early settlers and their opinions of the NA.

The Native American surpassed the Christian in temperance, honesty, contentment, and were overall more refined than the Europeans (according to the europeans settlers and governors in their own journals) and had a human presence that was far and above the Christian.

That didn’t stop the settlers from learning the language for the sole purpose of converting them though. You all believe you have something special, but you don’t.

I think you fail to see that most of the problems of the modern world are a direct result of your religion. Where is the Native American contentment now, after 500 years of Christianity?

—I doubt my comment will ever ooze through moderation.

I suppose some need to believe even after they stop believing. Imagine living so hopelessly glued to something else for your morsel of self worth.

History of the World in Human Time

How to see things in geologic time.

Most people have no idea how young humans are. We are infants. “If January 1st 2019 were the beginning of earth, and December 31st the current day, each day would represent about 12million years (for a 4.3billion years-old earth)

—Bacterium would have formed February 1st and fish November 20th.

—Dinosaurs came into the field December 10th, then our first hominid ancestors on December 31st (in the afternoon), with Homo sapiens coming on the scene at about 11:45 PM. The past 1 minute being the period of known history“—New World Mind, Robert Ornstein and Paul Ehlich

—That’s the history of the world compressed into one year for perspective—But 70billion light years ago Yahweh was tinkering with a human genome to get his Adam, laying the groundwork to have lights in the heavens his man could never see.

The real trick is going to see if we can make it til 12:01… We have advanced for economics sake faster than our evolution, and faster that our rememberable history. What we need now are minds that can perceive and plan for long term, slow motion, earthtime processes, or we may just find the greatest threat to ever face the planet is the prolific homo-sapien, created in the image of god.

Parkinson’s Law

Christianity is the worlds biggest bureaucracy. Even entering the comment thread of any Christian blog or website is evidence of that little fact. Getting a comment posted through moderation is tough, let alone making an attempt to address its religious managers, can be quite futile and rarely entertaining. Controlling what is allowed to print is a big part of The Way© the truth, and the fight.

Enter Parkinson’s Law

While the law can apply to nearly every field, the gist of the law is a mathematical equation illustrating “the rate in which bureaucracies expand over time, is in opposition to its connection with the people it serves“. Eg; As the end of the British empire declined it had the greatest number of staff to manage its fewest ever number of colonies. And now as we see with Christianity providing less and less of everything it ever promised, the number of wannabes dot the landscape as churches outnumber schools 10-1.

“The demand upon a resource tends to expand to match the supply of the resource

Simply addressing the self serving pomps who stand guard is a useless frustration. Talking to those in charge of the various schemes is the ultimate in bureaucratic stonewalling. Fully insulated, barely functioning, promises promises, while those that receive the least benefit of the empire guard the gates in hopes they’ll be chosen to rule the earth (in eventual meekness, no doubt)

Another variation of the law is this—”The amount of time that one has to perform a task is the amount of time it will take to complete the task

And since Jesus is never coming, they have all the time in the world.

What Evidence Would Be Enough?

What would convince you Jesus is the creator of the universe?

Which came first, the belief or the believer? Evidence for god would be some universal truth, however, the closest proximities to that are the core shamanistic principles and practices common throughout all corners of the world, developed over the millennia by their utility. Nobody had ever heard of Yahweh outside the near east, which begs a question.

Did your belief in god lead you to accept nature as evidence, or did nature lead you to conclude there is a god? If you believed first in god, you’ve fallen victim to the explainers. How many of you as a child, took a walk in the forest and thought, wow, this pinecone is evidence for god, without first being influenced that direction?

“In our standard view of things, consciousness exists only in the brains of highly evolved organisms, and hence consciousness exists only in a tiny part of the universe and only in very recent history. According to panpsychism, in contrast, consciousness pervades the universe and is a fundamental feature of it. This doesn’t mean that literally everything is conscious. The basic commitment is that the fundamental constituents of reality—perhaps electrons and quarks[hence earth]have incredibly simple forms of experience”—Scientific American

Most likely consciousness is not a fundamental feature of the universe, but universe is a fundamental feature of consciousness, not the other way around. It is such a fundamental part of the whole, you can’t separately identify matter from consciousness.
