Not an Atheist—Am I Going Mad?

Nothing is true because it’s belief

I am not an atheist—I just don’t believe in God. Religion has left me no choice. Being an atheist I don’t believe in this god and that is the standard paradigm. But if I have to believe, it doesn’t exist. No belief between anyone is a consistent description of anything. Nothing is consistent except by memorization, but those aren’t your perceptions of god. They are a consensus of ambivalent confusions.

If God is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, and omni-everything to encapsulate an unrestrained supreme deity, what then, could be in the universe that is not god? Your superlatives betray your doctrine.

The Hebrew god is all these attributes. But really, with all these elucidations only creates more confusion. It would have to be everything, including you as an extension of it. There is no line it doesn’t cross, no realm it doesn’t permeate, no organism it isn’t. Christians are actually pantheist or deists, if you carry the logic beyond its restricted norms, using their own adjectives. According to their own terms, everything is god, (except for you), right?

Traditionally, expressing this knowledge about yourself would be blasphemous enough to get you killed, condemned, or at least excommunicated. It’s hard to control people that knew their divine reality. But really what this knowledge does is put the game in jeopardy. Who would put up with this bullshit if they knew the truth? There is only one power the sim possess—it can shut itself off.

It is not my fault I don’t believe in this god described by the majority religions. It falls short on its own argument and modifiers. If it were real I wouldn’t have to believe it, have to convince myself and others of its existence, because unless you were it, something so distinct from you would be as plain as the nose on your face. If it were distinct from you it would be obvious and unavoidable that this god existed, yet no one can see it. Can a program detect the programmer? Can the curser see the mouse? Dammit!

If there is a god it does not know it. The same as if you were god and do not know it. There would be nothing outside of itself to contrast, just as there is no thing outside of you you could call god without it also being you.

No, there is no deity outside of you or it is not a deity, unless this is a simulation and we just can’t see the programmer through the impulses and diodes. If we did see that god we would find he is an intelligent creature that has no remorse for his sims, and can play and play the loop in the game that causes the most trivial of killing sprees where all his characters have multiple lives.

The Loss of Faith

If you’re reading this you’ve already lost it

Below the bridge of faith is littered with the bones of those who thought they had it.

What is the difference between thinking you have faith and having it, for all you “never were a real Christian” people? There are no former believers—just atheists and agnostics who at one time thought they believed.

To investigate your faith means you’ve already lost it. To purposely eye the underpinnings is to admit you don’t actually trust it. Trust that!

Real faith is blind and those who actually think they see are most blinded by it. To profess your faith means you’ve already lost it and seek validation. Independence is a hard thing swallowed, but your faith was your own. It cannot be transmitted nor can it be hidden away in silence.

To dare into the infrastructure mean you have already outgrown it. The paradox lies in knowing, vs the insecurity of being quiet.

Real faith lies at the bottom, in the bones of those who dared to believe and actually tested the words. Had they only done some research before buying and had dared to use reason and respond to that with honesty.

Suppression of beliefs is detrimental irrespective of their truth status. If the belief is true, suppressing it will hamper true descriptions of the world. If the belief is false, the assertion of false beliefs will lead to debate which in turn may lead to and deepen understanding of true beliefs. Finally, most of us can rarely see the whole truth, particularly when it comes to social, religious, and political discourse, so the only way of approaching it is through “reconciling and combining of opposites.” So whatever the epistemic status of a belief, suppressing it is harmful to the discovery of truth”—John Stuart Mill

Race of Biology

Things are not at all what they appear to be—a fact of biology

It is a basic misunderstanding of genetics and generally inaccurate to use racial labels for DNA lineages that cut across supposed racial groups. DNA identifies us by lineage and not by race—a very distinct difference. The default mistake that most of us make, is assume that common racial characteristics will link us closer in the DNA lineage. That’s just the society we’ve grown up to “think racially”. But DNA has the best reputation in racial thinking.

Using mitochondrial DNA (tracing the mothers, mothers, mothers) “we find in every classroom that some of the students’closest maternal relatives belong to a different race than they do. These lineages do not follow common racial categories—but in fact our mitochondrial lineage tells a different story that race is not a biological reality”—Thomas Murphy, PhD. Anthropology, Bioanthropolgy, Edmonds College

Our racial concepts are biased. They are based on our politics—our ways of excluding and discriminating against each other are ways that are not supported by biology. Yet we take superficial appearances and then dump people into categories based upon those when our biology is much more complex than that.

Race is a social construct, not supported by a close look at human biology. Our physical features such as skin color, facial structure, or hair texture, typically associated with race, are inherited independently and cut across populations just like DNA lineage.

When we actually look at the biology of skin color, it has nothing to do with arguments on morality, goodness, or evil. Us and them are ridiculous in a world of DNA. Skin color evolves in response to the environment and to assume skin color is even a separate race is a social construct. Biology is clear—we are all one race. We are all one people. The habit of breaking things into categories is as destructive as it is useful.

What To Do…About Everything—

To believe or not to believe? I think, therefore I make a mess of things…

Did you exchange, a walk-on part in the war, for a lead role in a cage? —Roger Waters

I figure if all goes well, I have about 35-40 years left as a human being. How do I want to spend it? How do you want to spend it? Anxious for the morrow? Is it productive or even enjoyable to involve oneself in compounding the mess by constantly trying to fix it?

The things that we object about our situation is precisely what we are doing to overcome it. Do you see that? Can you see that?

“It is perfectly obvious that the whole world is going to hell. The only possible chance that it might not is that we do not attempt to prevent it from doing so”—Robert Oppenheimer

While atheism is one step closer to peace, abandoning all sides of all dogmas makes it perfectly clear that beliefs are the cancers that grow more beliefs, to which very little of humanity has any immunity at all.

Endings That Don’t Mean Anything

How definitions have subjectively defined objectivity

After a serious consideration of so many points of view, atheism stands closely to buddhism, hinduism, and the tao, that there are no gods or God as a deity. There simply is—a complex interdependent organism we call universe—that of which, we are all pieces.

There is no god as defined by religions today, for the term god, how used as a deity is silly, really. There is only one thing and it’s an event. A big one—call it whatever you want, but abrahamic religions are at odds with common sense, reason, enlightenment, awakening, etc. And what is and what isn’t. It’s an impossible religion, stripping its members of the tools required for its objectives. Guilt is now institutionalized as a virtue. The hypnotic state is lord and waking up is forbidden. If there is god, there is nothing that is not it.

All I know is there are no things, no people, no objects. A noun is simply a figure of speech. A person is defined much more by what they do than what they are, but in fact its one thing. A thing is a unit of thought expressed in language to describe form. That same form that appears to be so tangible has little or no traditional matter as a concept, but energy. But that too, is one thing.

For purpose of description and understanding we must break the world down into some sort of units, but there is no matter, only shapes. Body and “spirit” are outdated terms. It’s all one thing.

One quite often hears people say “all things consist of matter”, but what is that? They are the specific patterns of manifested energy. Matter as such is an abstraction. Looking for a uniform matter as the principle of everything is like wanting to not eat cherries but fruit in general. But fruit is also an abstraction. Matter cannot be contrasted to separate things as something immutable to something mutable. Matter in general cannot be seen, touched or tasted. It isn’t tiny little granular building blocks of nature. What people see, touch or taste are only certain forms, registered in the neurons by language. Matter is not something that exists side by side with other things, inside them or at their basis. All existing formations are the same matter in its various properties and relations. Matter vs spirit are outdated terms. Its all one event where we calculate regularities and write them into generalities.

These forms of energy that appear so tangible by our senses (made from levels of the same energy) yet things are not what they seem. The christian ego is a fraudulent misrepresentation of reality. You are not a visitor here on probation, but you are here because you are it. You are the big bang still banging, way out on the edge of a continuous happening.

Nothing is in charge. Your freewill is a reaction to stimuli. Your choices are presented to you by dominant personalities that interpret—that the Rorschach Blot of a universe can only be their way.

So, what does it all mean? It doesn’t mean anything at all. But it’s a hell of a vacation from the voids that bookend a function of an interesting process. It’s amazing.

Why Religion Endures

One is not compelled to test—only to believe. Until it is tested it will endure.

Spiritual disciplines, prayers, meditations, faith, songs, yogas, biblical study, and all forms of scripture, are ways of persisting in folly—doing over and over what you’re doing already, will eventually make you…wise? Yes, but it’s not how you think.

To exhaust all attempts at spiritual knowledge is to finally see the absurdity. Adherents need at last, to take this belief seriously. That is the only way out, as evidenced by those who have already left.

It is akin to convincing a flat-earther the world is round—you must let them walk, due-west as far as it takes for them to see it on their own—when they wind up right back where they started. Field test the words, live it, I mean, finally give it your true attention and quit dabbling in commandments and guilt, and you will see if for what it is—it is nothing at all but a donkey following a virtual carrot. It will last forever because no one takes it seriously.

Every church or religion has established itself by pretending some special mission from God, communicated to certain individuals. The Jews have their Moses; the Christians their Jesus Christ, their apostles and saints; and the Turks their Mahomet, as if the way to God was not open to every man alike.
Each of those churches show certain books, which they call revelation, or the word of God. The Jews say, that their word of God was given by God to Moses, face to face; the Christians say, that their word of God came by divine inspiration: and the Turks say, that their word of God (the Koran) was brought by an angel from Heaven. Each of those churches accuse the other of unbelief; and for my own part, I disbelieve them all
”—Thomas Paine

The appeal to faith was a masterful play on the foibles of human psychology. One is not compelled to test, only to believe. Until it is tested it will endure.

Those who are weak in their atheism aren’t much different—believing the experts and catchy memes is no foundation to shout about either. I am mostly convinced that the two questions are wrong, but I know not what they should be.

The Necessity of Opposition

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying—Rev 21:4

Imagine heaven—where happiness is the law of the land—that eternal bliss that is all void of sin—with no more yang to counter the yin—no more descending to disrupt ascending—all tears are preempted no sadness therein.

It would quickly digress to the color of grey—an atrophic undefined purposeless way, pure numbing apathy of colorless color, all black or no white, oddly no contrast of what wrong or what’s right. Heaven can’t happen and stay heaven—without hell, so saddle up long for an infinite spell. Opposition is the only that makes being, worth being.

The way to even recognize joy is to have anxieties with which to compare and the opposite’s true too. So quite possibly in heaven we will need to peek through our fingers at an occasional Wild-West hanging or inquisition? Where heavenites gather around mesmerized in *hathos, a morbid curiosity for their burning brothers (out of necessity of course) to gather around just so often to keep themselves grounded to the doldrums of trial free living—how sweet it is at the foot of a gentle tyrant—it could be worse, right? With no opposite to give joy any perspective, death would be the unlimited bore—if the Christian heaven were real.

And only look at those miserable wretches—but don’t touch. Even compassion is stifled in the demands of this heavenly bliss. Rigid, rote, and care-less or else—unable to even water the tongue of the sinner, “because between he and thee is a great gulf affixed“—Luke 16:22 you will look, but only because you will have to remain happy, or else.

*HathosA pleasurable sense of loathing, or a loathing sense of pleasure, aroused by a certain necessity to watch.

Where All the Bad People Are

Things are not nearly as bad as they need it to be.

Americans grapple with evil amid the decline of religious faith”—The Heritage Foundation

Roaming through some end-time prophecy (the doom and gloom stemming from Christian belief) when it struck me that I don’t really know any bad people. End-times are actually better times than ever before.

Even this mild “prophecy” is at odds with observations.

Even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased“—Daniel 12:4

I Just love this sign, because it is clearly pointing to our day today, and it cannot be refuted by anyone”—End-Times Website. We actually have an information explosion, while the depth of individual knowledge is likely at an all-time low.

I also disagree on other points. Prior civilizations have also had varied types of advanced knowledge compared to what we currently have today. Certainly we have a different type of knowledge than at other times, but is there actually more knowledge? And the explosion? What we have is “A handful of real innovators and a planet full of end users”.

The world is going to hell in a handbag”—yet life expectancy is up, infant mortality down, and extreme poverty is down, (way down by billions over the past 50 years) Your chances of living out your natural life (and even beyond that) is greater now that ever before. Seems that god is punishing us with long and prosperous lives in this “wicked and perverse” generation.

I suppose the real fate of the world the rests on the transgendered and homosexuals refusing therapy or celibacy. The True Christian© morality doesn’t seem to be accurate here either, as we embrace the lives of every human life gets better.

I have traveled around this great county to all but one of the fifty states. Good people outnumber bad 100 to 1—no, I dare say 1000 to 1. Rarely ever have I crossed paths with a human that wasn’t just awesome in one way or another. It’s the best of times, but you’ll never hear that from the pulpits or the news selling fear. The Bible prophecies and the preachers are at complete odds with the way the world is trending.

Where on earth are all the evil people?

Rites of Passage

How Christianity cheats the Weyekin through faith

Hope is the lowest level of the awakening state.

The next step is developing a faith that your hope will produce results.

Finally there is knowing. Knowing comes from applying faith and achieving the desired results.

We are currently screwed. Forever stuck in faith—no evidence—no desired outcomes—merely a false sense of enlightenment while the world still fights—that, is strongly evidenced. Divided we stand at the exit door of beliefs, waiting for the promises to arrive. We did all those things, now we near the end of the ride bewildered.

Is it too late to trade for a different model, or do we cling to time wasted like a cherished life-lesson in mediocrity?

Religion has closed off the rights of passage by turning the middle phase to the pinnacle of religious experience. Faith is merely a waypoint, not a destination, now forever stuck in the initiation phase—and the arrival at nothing. A true religion would prepare its members to be independent, to be real men and women of accomplishment through Weyekin, a vision quest, or a meaningful journey to test their readiness.

Even our children in this western culture have no defining moments of passage. They simply sit and slowly osmose their way to adulthood by navigating hoops in a system of baseless protections in nothing but belief, accepting disappointment as their fathers did, for god is testing their faith by cheating us from the final phase.

Now the test is to believe failure is endemic of gods will for humanity.

Are You Miserable Without God?

How Christian writers pen with ignorance.

“You trust in yourself and what you can do. Your heart feels like an empty pit of darkness and purposeless because you walk around this earth not even knowing why you have breath in your lungs. You spend your life trying to fill that emptiness you have with things like sexual immorality, pornography, gambling, drinking, money, or even good things such as family, security, job, and staying busy. Family is one of the most beautiful things given to us by the Lord in this life, but if you have a family without God? Meaningless“. Full Post HERE

My Reply

Your heart feels like an empty pit of darkness and purposeless because you walk around this earth not even knowing why you have breath in your lungs. You spend your life trying to fill that emptiness you have with things like sexual immorality, pornography, gambling, drinking, money, or even good things such as family, security, job, and staying busy

This is total nonsense. Plenty of atheists have very meaningful lives, including me. On a side note, when Christians first started coming to America they were astounded at the level of contentment possessed in the Christ-less, Native American. I can post some links if you like of many, many first hand accounts of the early settlers and their opinions of the NA.

The Native American surpassed the Christian in temperance, honesty, contentment, and were overall more refined than the Europeans (according to the europeans settlers and governors in their own journals) and had a human presence that was far and above the Christian.

That didn’t stop the settlers from learning the language for the sole purpose of converting them though. You all believe you have something special, but you don’t.

I think you fail to see that most of the problems of the modern world are a direct result of your religion. Where is the Native American contentment now, after 500 years of Christianity?

—I doubt my comment will ever ooze through moderation.

I suppose some need to believe even after they stop believing. Imagine living so hopelessly glued to something else for your morsel of self worth.

History of the World in Human Time

How to see things in geologic time.

Most people have no idea how young humans are. We are infants. “If January 1st 2019 were the beginning of earth, and December 31st the current day, each day would represent about 12million years (for a 4.3billion years-old earth)

—Bacterium would have formed February 1st and fish November 20th.

—Dinosaurs came into the field December 10th, then our first hominid ancestors on December 31st (in the afternoon), with Homo sapiens coming on the scene at about 11:45 PM. The past 1 minute being the period of known history“—New World Mind, Robert Ornstein and Paul Ehlich

—That’s the history of the world compressed into one year for perspective—But 70billion light years ago Yahweh was tinkering with a human genome to get his Adam, laying the groundwork to have lights in the heavens his man could never see.

The real trick is going to see if we can make it til 12:01… We have advanced for economics sake faster than our evolution, and faster that our rememberable history. What we need now are minds that can perceive and plan for long term, slow motion, earthtime processes, or we may just find the greatest threat to ever face the planet is the prolific homo-sapien, created in the image of god.

Parkinson’s Law

Christianity is the worlds biggest bureaucracy. Even entering the comment thread of any Christian blog or website is evidence of that little fact. Getting a comment posted through moderation is tough, let alone making an attempt to address its religious managers, can be quite futile and rarely entertaining. Controlling what is allowed to print is a big part of The Way© the truth, and the fight.

Enter Parkinson’s Law

While the law can apply to nearly every field, the gist of the law is a mathematical equation illustrating “the rate in which bureaucracies expand over time, is in opposition to its connection with the people it serves“. Eg; As the end of the British empire declined it had the greatest number of staff to manage its fewest ever number of colonies. And now as we see with Christianity providing less and less of everything it ever promised, the number of wannabes dot the landscape as churches outnumber schools 10-1.

“The demand upon a resource tends to expand to match the supply of the resource

Simply addressing the self serving pomps who stand guard is a useless frustration. Talking to those in charge of the various schemes is the ultimate in bureaucratic stonewalling. Fully insulated, barely functioning, promises promises, while those that receive the least benefit of the empire guard the gates in hopes they’ll be chosen to rule the earth (in eventual meekness, no doubt)

Another variation of the law is this—”The amount of time that one has to perform a task is the amount of time it will take to complete the task

And since Jesus is never coming, they have all the time in the world.

What Evidence Would Be Enough?

What would convince you Jesus is the creator of the universe?

Which came first, the belief or the believer? Evidence for god would be some universal truth, however, the closest proximities to that are the core shamanistic principles and practices common throughout all corners of the world, developed over the millennia by their utility. Nobody had ever heard of Yahweh outside the near east, which begs a question.

Did your belief in god lead you to accept nature as evidence, or did nature lead you to conclude there is a god? If you believed first in god, you’ve fallen victim to the explainers. How many of you as a child, took a walk in the forest and thought, wow, this pinecone is evidence for god, without first being influenced that direction?

“In our standard view of things, consciousness exists only in the brains of highly evolved organisms, and hence consciousness exists only in a tiny part of the universe and only in very recent history. According to panpsychism, in contrast, consciousness pervades the universe and is a fundamental feature of it. This doesn’t mean that literally everything is conscious. The basic commitment is that the fundamental constituents of reality—perhaps electrons and quarks[hence earth]have incredibly simple forms of experience”—Scientific American

Most likely consciousness is not a fundamental feature of the universe, but universe is a fundamental feature of consciousness, not the other way around. It is such a fundamental part of the whole, you can’t separately identify matter from consciousness.

The Native American Before Christian Spoil

Propaganda demonized the native cultures.

A first-hand recount of William Penn from 1687, telling of his interactions with the natives.

But what is most striking in Penns delineation of the Indians character, is the often repeated eulogy of the Indians natural piety. Again and again he dwells on the fact that the Indian shames the Christian in the sincerity of his religious belief and the correctness of his moral conduct”.

Describing the frugal meal that satisfies them, “pumpkin without butter or spice, the bare ground for a table, shells for spoons and leaves of the forest for plates”, he winds up exclaiming, “these wild men who never in their life heard Christs teaching of temperance and contentment, herein far surpass the Christian

Ten years later he goes on again with his praises; “They live far more contented and unconcerned for the morrow than we Christians. They do not over-reach in trade. They know nothing of our everlasting pomp and stylishness. They neither curse nor swear, are temperate in food and drink, and if any of them get drunk, the fault of the Christians for the sake of accursed lucre”.

They intentionally liquored the Indians to cheat them. Even as absolute surety demonstrated the Indian surpassed them in every way as human beings, they still sought them to Christ as the only way of true living. It most certainly is not, but may soon become such through attrition—our course is set.

He said; “meanwhile, we use the wild man for day labor and gradually acquire their language and make them acquainted with the teachings of Christ”—1687

The arrogance of monotheism and the conceit of faith is not a virtue. We have little hope but a Herculean breakthrough of some type or another. It won’t come by belief, but by uncultured minds that don’t yet know it’s not possible.

The Art of Atheism

As natural as atheism. The clarity of unbelief

Atheism is not a belief, but its side-effects are an art form of independent thought, skillfully navigating through life with immunity from all religious dogmas. The art of atheism rejects religion based on its outcomes and insufficient evidence. It rejects the Jehovah Affect© and the self important aggrandizement of its zealotic “explainers”. It is simply self empowerment over our own mental and physical intuitions and abandoning the tried and failed—which was not bought in wisdom, but in opportunistic haste.

We have been stationary cycling with these ideologies long enough. And while world is ready to embrace inevitable change rather than more of the same “ancient wisdom”, monotheism digs in its heels to maintain parental control.

I am not Atheism, but Atheist. I chart my own path with purposeful impunity. Atheism is simply a million ways of clarity from the delusions of religious beliefs in gods—

How long shall we accept faith and it’s limitations by obedience to archaic laws from a violent time? Transcending belief mode is our greatest hope.

A true religion would be a rite of passage, not a permanent need.

Atheism rejects what belief has done to human anatomy, physiology, cognition, and the regressive nature of living in the past. No longer by faith am I a dis-intuitive, calcified victim of self deprecation told what “we” believe, and I refuse to accept the physiological changes that occurred through compliance to this belief, as permanent.

As we rekindle these lost arts connecting intuitions with existence, it has to be without any help from them. How long shall we chase this dead-end without a single solitary fact? Just believe…believe the hardwiring of faith and repetition can be severed.

Interpretation of Scripture

How scripture is best interpreted through special pleading

You just don’t know how to interpret scripture”—And though it’s been said, many times and in many ways, but the truth is nobody does—or the obvious reality, everybody does! It was just never intended to be scripture.

Even the accepted schools prop up their opinions with argument on what they wish to be true, ignoring the forgeries, add-ons and bloodshed as the will of god, which coincidentally just happens to reduce the embarrassing intentional oversights… of course, everything pointed to Jesus.

The trick is to believe it before you read it. After being compelled by the men of words (the explainers) or a beautiful girl or boyfriend (to help it really make sense) we dove into the Bible to keep peace, to find good and moral principle to confirm what you already know—and to find Jesus so he can reveal himself to you (or keep the girlfriend) takes a fair amount of mental wrangling and encouragement.

Whether deliberately abstruse, or just disingenuous acceptance, the explainers will navigate you through the conundrum of faith, jumping from verse to verse and circling the failures like a London roundabout, you’ll never reach your destination but forever be tutelaged, unworthy of passage even when you’re circling the drain. Never then free to leave without the lingering threat—God will find you even when your dead and administer physical punishment to your spirit.

So you employ belief, faith, hope, for this masters game of hide and seek, this conundrical wheel of misfortune has many answers, but the answers themselves are not inspired, but shoehorned by layering faith on faith while ignoring the missteps, the epitome of special pleading.

Special Pleading; an argument in which the speaker deliberately ignores aspects that are unfavorable to their point of view.

Using Evil, On Evil, for Good

What good are your friends if you can’t use them—or even better, your enemies?

Hatred is the most accessible and comprehensive of all the unifying agents … Mass movements can rise and spread without belief in a god, but never without a belief in a devil.”—Eric Hoffer,

Evangelicals and Trump have found their evil and now dutifully root out the heathen and unbeliever to maintain power—one thinking they’re using the other to their ends, all to suit causes which are based on deception. Christianity and Politics—to the end!

Faith vs Integrity

How can we change the world when we’re stuck in an archaic past?

The life of faith is in a race with integrity. The trick is to die before the vector of integrity is tempted to intersect faith before the finish line. Development of integrity can cost you your soul. Dying in unscrutinized belief is the safer bet. Have no fear. Your faith is the sure safety that nothing will change until you get your catastrophe.

Meanwhile, be content in the outcomes of faith which we have witnessed now for two millennia. Don’t complain, and please no worries. This is the life you choose through belief.

The impression somehow prevails that the true believer, particularly the religious individual, is a humble person. The truth is the surrendering and humbling of the self breeds pride and arrogance. The true believer is apt to see himself as one of the chosen, the salt of the earth, the light of the world, a prince disguised in meekness, who is destined to inherit the earth and the kingdom of heaven too. He who is not of his faith is evil; he who will not listen will perish”—Eric Hoffer

“Ye are the light of the world”. What do you say to that when everything faith touches lives in a constant state of regression? Living in the past, hoping the future ends. Would a good god condemn you for truly not believing? Seems to me such integrity should be rewarded.

Prayer Hypocrisy—The Way of Desperation

How school and public prayer violates the tenets of Christianity

Matthew 6:5-6—And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6: But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly”

The prayers they offered yesterday are even more useless than normal. The religious right is simply posturing and openly making asses of themselves—dragging America out as laughing stocks of the world.

Trump on Friday said Democratic opponents would “tear down crosses” and pledged to bring prayer to public schools at a re-election rally to shore up evangelical support.

We are defending religion itself, it’s under siege,” Trump said. “A society without religion cannot prosper.”

Pastors gathered around Trump on the stage for an opening prayer, while much of the audience remained standing with their hands aloft.

These angry radicals want to impose absolute conformity by censuring speech, tearing down crosses and symbols of faith and banning religious believers from public life“—

Sounds like we’ll all be ok then. Just what we need, more thoughts and prayers. Also sounds like rhetoric and hateful propaganda. Maybe we are winning…

Headcanon—The Imaginary Christian Backstory

Worshipping the Near East Jesus

Headcanon is an idea, belief or aspect of a character’s personality or physicality that is present in a piece of fanwork that does not correspond with information present in the canonical material.

For instance, it is largely accepted in the west that Jesus was white and is overwhelmingly depicted with elegant features and hair. Only makes sense, right? But evidence suggest that misses the mark.

The average Palestinian of the time was 5’1″. Using anthropological data and clues from the Bible, it is most likely Jesus looked something like this:

Jesus blended to the general population enough that Judas had to single him out from the apostles and was a working carpenter, so it is likely “if” the pretended messiah actually existed, he was far from the current depictions. While white Jesus certainly sells more tickets, it is highly unlikely he looked anything like the figure-head they’ve glorified.

There are many aspects of Christianity today although popular, have nothing to do with the original—the current state of the money changers church and religion being two of them. Be interesting to see pictures of this Jesus flaunt the halls of your favorite supremacy gathering.

Did you see the Mormons currently have $100billion in available cash? Who among them will turn over those tables?

Reasons To Celebrate

Raising an empty glass to the discovery of religious evidence

The real miracle about evidence is the believers ability to dismiss what doesn’t agree with faith. That same faith that is simply an emotional attachment to an idea that, A: was forced upon them, or B: just feels right, or C: There are so many believers they can’t all be wrong, can they? There are more in there, I’m certain.

This New Year’s Eve, let’s drink to belief, anchoring bias, cognitive dissonance, and to evidence. Not just any evidence, mind you, but real evidence like chariot wheels in the Red Sea, the Shroud of Turin, the Golden Plates™️, Salamander Letters, The Cardiff Giant, Indian Guru Sai Baba’s Legerdemain, the discovery of Noah’s Ark, and the Ossuary of James, brother of Jesus.

All the above are faith promoting because of their fraudulent hoax. The religious love to downplay empirical evidence (until they think they have some) then will embrace pure junk as proof for god. Unwinding such toys is such a nuisance, so they then let them play out on their own.

With 100% certainty they EMBRACE empiricism and are its greatest champion, if they could actually present evidence that supports their beliefs. They then scream, look at the evidence!—JZ. They love evidence, but it first must support their belief. They love it so much they will clamor from sea to shining sea to get a glimpse of even the most outlandish display of quackery.

But who wants to prove themselves wrong in religion? Who will truly look beyond what they want to believe, or what they’ve been saddled with since childhood?

A toast 🥃 to the Apparitional Toast this New Years Eve, and all the best to us all for 2020—maybe a year to see clearly.

Testimony—Relieving Your Doubt Through Repetition

How testimony is a reliable source for truth

A testimony or “witnessing” is known as a statement that is based on personal experience or personal knowledge. A statement is accepted on the basis of person’s testimony if his or her asserting it renders it acceptable, ie; conviction, eloquence, or sincerity. We can also, rationally accept a claim on the basis of another person’s testimony unless at least one of the following is found to be true:

1 The claim is implausible;

2 The person or the source in which the claim is quoted lacks credibility;

3 The claim goes beyond what the person could know from his or her own experience and competence (children)

When it comes to testimony, how trustworthy are you, the source, in separating what you want to believe vs what you’ve been taught to believe vs the inherent bias of culture, demographics, and perception? If you know your church is “the one” sanctioned by Jesus, how can others know theirs is “the one” True Church© too. Maybe they’re coat-tailing on a bad idea? It’s happened before.

If you fallen to religion, just be grateful it wasn’t Jehovah’s Witness, Mormon, Catholic, AOG, Money Church of Osteen™️, Copeland, Dollar 🤡, Comfort or Ham. Id hate for you to look silly. And for the loners out there, your close. Really close.

As far as children witnessing for any religion, who’s testimony do you suppose they are they sharing? But it’s so cute… Hmm?

What it’s Like to Die

What it’s like to die is the same as surviving

Our flight finally neared the runway as 80 mph side-winds battered the plane. Just before decent, the drink cart came off the floor and nearly hit the ceiling. Suddenly the wings break upward, blocking my view of the horizon, then quickly downward to view the ocean. The plane was nervously quiet on the inside as it was battered outside—a white knuckle approach to San Francisco; landing speed 158 MPH.

Some I could see praying, silently mouthing, whispering to their god—certain some deals were being made that day. I was sitting window seat over the left wing as we lowered within crashing range, watching the wing flexing up and down just missing the runway. Suddenly in a flash I pictured the plane cartwheeling down the runway in a fiery crash, but at that moment the pilot performed his magic and touched the plane down like a foot stomp.

Sighs of relief exhaled from front to back, then a post adrenal crash into applause and chatter—and in an instant we all realize we made it—Alive! Now back to business and the boredom as usual…

Is this how we feel when we die, returning to the mundane existence of eternal life? What a rush it must be to break back through to the other side. For at that moment the game would get us every time.

We know what it’s like to die—the same as it is to survive. All the anxieties of not knowing released in an instant. Yet here, we shackle ourselves to another day, living to escape death—while in our normal existence we would line up for the chance to risk it.

Just a flash of time outside our normal state of being—is life

All The World is a Stage.

We can imagine everything but truth, for the truth is too obvious to be it, and too simple to accept. With the curtain drawn we have now built a story to validate humanity as something less spectacular than the sum of its parts—which is ridiculous considering.

Occasionally one gets a peek behind the curtain. When that takes place a couple of things can happen if you are not prepared—they may walk off the set, self destruct, or go off the chain. This is why no master will ever teach you without a discipline to go along with it.

Another thing that often happens is a rise of self importance; I am god—The Jehovah Effect© I and the father are one—now you must listen to what I say and do what I tell you to do. What I know is the way, the truth, and you have to go through me (to get back to where you have no choice but to be) History is scattered with these types. Jesus at least spoke in parables to not give away the game. It is essential to the longevity of it all, that mankind doesn’t cut the act short by knowing the secret while we’re here—that there is no secret. This is the usefulness of religion—never answering the question, and unable to—constantly searching beyond the simplicity of it all.

Part of the problem is Christianity’s beginnings, where Christ sought out his disciples. Disciples who were not seeking enlightenment nor prepared for the experience (jesus couldn’t wait to share his newfound knowledge) They never did understand him while he was alive, then took it upon themselves to be zealots when he was dead. If you want to wake up then do so, find it, see it, but be prepared; all there is left to do from then on is watch and smile at the game.

Knowledge is simply the absence of delusion—The you who is not the one you see in the mirror, but the you that defines who you really are beyond that (personality, consciousness) is not the ego you’ve been told. Perceiving the essence of yourself in our natural existence is similar to scale of a fish achieving awareness of itself, that could never comprehend the head of the fish—so it is with the universe. We are merely a function, the eyes and ears and perceptions, a nerve ending on the whole living organism.

Our nature, whether here or there has not changed but the slightest. We seek to be entertained, to be engaged in emotions, to laugh, to cry, to feel fear or to feel exhilarated by the fantasy. To seek out endless ways to relieve the boredom and stay busy even after an idle day or two.

We are merely participants in a play, breaking away from the doldrums of everyday immortality to see the show (or be in the show) while others act out the mystery and sometimes misery for a role in the drama. Either way, life here means nothing but a respite from the mundane existence of infinite living. Simply not knowing the outcome is the most masterful, simple game in the universe. And like a fish jumping out of the water, for a moment, getting a brilliant glimpse backstage that there is no more to life than the existence we are living.

Monotheism is especially proud of its level of tail-chasing distractions—a necessary player to reduce enlightenment and retain players in the game.

Religion Deemed Too Big to Fail

Quantitative easing for the collapse of religion—the new arm of government subsidy.

If religion in America were a country, its $1.2 Trillion in tax free income (2016) would be the 15th largest economy in the world. Too big to fail? Subsidized religion would be interesting, to say the least.

The economic bailout of 2008 cost $700billion to keep institutions we hate in business. Imagine how soothing it will be to bail out religion to sustain its lengthy crash? It could however, be worth ending the futility of its unmet objectives by natural selection—for extinction.

It would be worth a few bones to retrain the ministry into something useful—like carpentry or green technology. They don’t typically pay unemployment insurance for themselves or other church employees. It’s a risky business when there’s not enough crisis to keep membership up.

It may be deemed too big to fail, but it would be worth it. A quick dose of reality, then, after the weeping and wailing we can get on with living. Transcending belief mode will be an incredible period of discovery.

The Wave of Monochromism

How religious ignorance is destroying diversity

Ethnosphere—the sum total of all culture, imaginations, thoughts, perceptions, and being in the world—that beauty of diversity that sees the world and interacts within a variety of ways, is dying.

As Christianity and Islam drive to dominance, to adapt to their way, has destroyed and is destroying countless ways of being—the world where our perceptions form its existence, that the earth itself can only exist because it is breathed into being by human consciousness—Kogi Elder

Not only destructive to the physical world, but limiting the perception of ourselves and the earth by force-feeding the one-way over the rest, backed by endless, unfilled promises.

Not only is our biosphere dying, the ethnosphere is also deliberately being willfully destroyed at an even faster pace. As groups like Amazon Outreach and countless other missionaries efforts continue to pilfer varieties of being, their message is not only lacking, their ignorance is astounding.

Their goal—to infiltrate the gospel of Christ to every last human on earth, while simultaneously alienating and destroying culture and beauty.

These institutions were created with the best of intentions. The intensity of the wave of the conquest was only matched my their ignorance of indigenous life”—Wade Davis, Nat Geo Ethnographer

Good TED

“When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said ‘Let us pray. ‘ We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land”—Desmond Tutu

Whether you agree with missionary intentions to help or not, it always ends with taking. Taking thousands of years of bio/ethnic evolution and shoehorning in inferior beliefs—filled with lessor ways of being. It’s the way of monotheistic faith…Can anything be left alone from this?

Faith vs Ethics

How belief deflects moral obligation

The greatest contribution of atheism is the provision of a firm basis for ethical conduct. Atheism explains that morality is a social obligation but not a passport to heaven and salvation. The theistic belief in divine retribution sidetracked moral behavior. Believers were more prone to please the god of their imagination by prayer and ritual than to conform to rules of moral conduct“—Ramachantra Rao

This is the dividing line between worship and personal responsibility. To please god is obedience to belief, even if it’s socially divisive. One excludes, the other includes. Doesn’t really matter what religion you believe, it is that you believe anything at all.

“We have the impulse to resist evil, but through faith permission is granted to inflict it. We step beyond the believers mindset; not content for their own sake, but like a dangerous meme is spread. Not out of genuine concern, but religious mimicry”.

Extended Phenotypes

What are humans programmed to do?

Genetically predisposed to do something useful, the beaver naturally builds a dam with no training from its specie. Some of the ingenuity is quite amazing, being copied in principle by human engineers and hydrologists.

Birds also build nests operating automática with no training required, it’s hardwired and as natural as eating.

Humans build shelters too, and take notice when it is lacking. Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” Luke 9:58

So what is it that humans naturally do, or even usefully tend to with no training? What are we programmed to do?

Through the course of religion we have been trained to wait, to believe empty promises that have yet to come to fruition. To ignore what we see, in favor of words. To propagate wishes as truth, and most importantly, place more importance on what we don’t know than what we do. Maybe we don’t know anything, and that’s the problem.

In a recent study interviewing patients in palliative care, the number one regret was what they worried about when life was good. Humans like to worry—though we all know the uselessness of it so we nobly call it concern, then live a life fighting back nature vs accepting things as they are, infighting our lives away over two false premises—out of worry panted by another.

Left or right, or which religion most closely aligns with what I’ve been conditioned to believe—then fight for it, all distractions from being you, which when we finally learn to do it, is pretty awesome all in itself.

Man, sometimes it takes a long time to sound like yourself”—Miles Davis

Then vs Now

Celebrating thanksgiving while others mourn

Before the wave of monotheism butchered its way to dominance, what exactly did we give up, to get this?

This from the USDA:

In cultures around the world, men and women served as tribal healers, shamans, medicine men or women, had a deep understanding of the use of these plants singularly and/or in combination. These “herbalists” served as spiritual guides and dream interpreters and led many sacred ceremonies where the use of psychoactive plants played an integral role in burial rituals, rites of passage, healing rituals, vision quests and purification rituals.

Using psychoactive plants, (and many others) shamans had the power to enter trances, combat evil spirits and disease, and communicate with ancestors. Within the plant-induced visions and trances, the shaman was able to comprehend the spirit world and the real world and maintain balance between the two. Prayers were offered to the spirits to whom these holy plants belonged. Indeed, for some, the plant itself was god or provided a way to god.

If nothing else it was interesting, unlike the monotheistic wait. More HERE

The pastors and priests of today will say a kind prayer into outer-space, quote you a couple of scriptures you already know, rekindle some hope, and collect offerings. They initially had to intimidate their way to the top because they had nothing but faith-induced deprecation to offer. Now the stupor of monotheistic belief is the biggest hurdle facing humanity.

I find it interesting that these core shamanistic practices were found all around the globe, yet Yahweh was nowhere to be found but in one small country, and never had anyone outside of it knew one whit about it.

Catholicism is a Miracle

How current catholic bloggers defend forced conversion as part of gods miracles

Scoop tells me that 1.3 billion Catholics growing from a group of 12 men is a miracle. (see comment) Yes, it’s a miracle in the same way that all of North Korea worships Kim Jung Il.

Adopted as a state religion then, about 400 CE the heralded St. Augustine, Bishop of Hippo authorized the use of force as a missionary tool using this scripture; “And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled”—Luke 14:23

God works in mysterious ways. The next 1400 years (well into the 20th century) it was believe or suffer their wrath wherever they planted their flag. Here locally, the Colville Native American children were rounded up throughout the territory and compelled to Catholic education. Those that escaped Fort Spokane were captured by the Calvary and incarcerated in solitary confinement, had their shoes confiscated, and endured physical torture. It’s a friggin miracle!

How is it catholics can claim any benevolence at all at this point is beyond reason. The most corrupt organization on earth, is god working his miracles through torture.

Scoop also tells me on one hand, Gods judgment is overdue because of the wickedness and sodomites, then tells me it’s the safest time in history to be alive. Coincidentally, it is also the most secular time in history to be alive. Coincidence? I think not.

From Practices to Beliefs—The Fatal Shift

How long ago the idea of belief supplanted utility.

The hebetude of religious belief, even the fervor becomes pure boredom as the wait sets in. With nothing to do but believe (or watch your favorite mega-preacher rake in cash) what is the mind to do—practice your tongues?

Years ago religion was a practice. Indigenous ritual and practical application accompanied the shaman as a person of utility, knowledge, and healing arts that surpassed the European physicians of the time. The ritual produced something—a far cry from today’s phony sacraments and preachers who merely pile on more robes, pomp, and pop music to cover the inadequacy of the Christian theme. It has to grow more and more unattainable as the subject matures in faith (lest his integrity outwit his belief) restricting the believer to endless need, never passing initiation phase.

The distance shit falls is equal-to, or less-than the potential splash-back”

Applying yourself into The-Way© meets with more of the same mind—deeper, spoon-bending, concentrated belief, unashamed of the gospel through conditioning, isolation, and surrounding yourself with other “we” believers, ready to wipe up the mess of contradiction with explaining (tissue, standing by)

A useful religion would prepare adherents for the rigors of life—to cut you loose with knowledge to take on the world with the greatest understanding, not a perpetual codependency—the believer out of need (the churches fall horribly short producing enlightenment) and the religion in need of the believers cash.

The monotheistic stall has humanity hamster-wheeling, each generation farther from the last in practical utility. Arriving at belief is less than accomplishing anything, yet the churches pretend it’s the ultimate destination.

Anosognosia and Religious Certainty

How the epidemic deficit has become our normal existence—the benefit of belief

Anosognosia is a neurological deficit in self-awareness, a condition in which a person with a disability is unaware or in denial of its existence. This disability we are addressing today is belief—regarded as personal achievement or a high mental destination, where “I believe” has become the pinnacle of religious thought. But what is belief other than a set of imaginations that have been carefully honed to pacify existence? There’s no substance to it at all.

Scientific beliefs are corroborated, falsified, tested and reviewed, then applied to produce a result or technology (we have satellites in orbit with these ideas) that actually produces something.

Religious beliefs are simply compared imaginations with other hopefuls for the mere sake of believing. And today, religious belief of any kind (even strictly opposing views) are respected for the simple fact they believe something, or anything at all. Certainly any belief is more worthy than unbelief—at least they have a chance, right?

Yet, belief is nothing more than a set of ideas that may sound really neat (or morbid) but is simply wishful thinking—assigning it some strange importance that will outwit nature does not make it real. But, we’re sticking to it against all reason, turning the mere idea into defensive pride, renaming it faith (which is the arrival at what?) all the while these fascinations do nothing to transcend humanity from this long monotheistic stall.

Anosognosia is a lack of ability to perceive the realities of one’s own situation. It’s a person’s inability to accept that they have a condition that matches up with their symptoms (1) These religious beliefs occur despite significant lack of evidence or the predicted outcomes.

Go to, thy faith hath dug you a hole”.

Note On My Old God

When did belief become a virtue?

If the ultimate, monotheistic plural god of Abraham doesn’t exist, would that mean none of the others do either?

As a believer I was so used to discrediting the other gods for so long (way to easy) I never bothered to look into them. I suppose I don’t know enough about them to believe in them, but do I know enough about them to not? Can you not believe in something you’ve never invested?

For now I’ve just let it all go. No chasing belief or fine tuning incredible imaginations to disguise my final destination. It’s really out of my hands. The Christians already control the cosmos with their prayers anyway, so what am I going to do?

Belief is meant as a temporary waypoint to prove a premise, not a destination in itself”

How did belief become a virtue (rhetorical question) anyway? It is a worthless position of pride faith clinging to someone else’s hopeful imaginations with an argument. It’s all quite ridiculous, really.

“We will never progress as a society until we overcome belief mode and transcend the neurological trappings of faith”.

Faith by Atheism

“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image”

“Atheism in the informal sense is a profoundly religious attitude—an attitude in life of total trust in letting go. When we form images of god they are all really exhibitions of our lack of faith—something to hold on to, something to grasp.

And so there is the profound central mystery of the attitude of faith—to stop chasing it, to stop grabbing it. Because if that happens the most amazing things follow. All these ideas of the spiritual, the godly as this attitude of “must“—”And we have laid down the laws which we are all bound to follow“. This is not the only way of being religious and relating to the inefable mystery that underlies ourselves in the world—you!

If we cling to belief in God, we cannot likewise have faith, since faith is not clinging but letting goAlan Watts.

Atheism is total trust that the universe is happening with or without your pathetic belief, and long before YHWY hit the scenes.

Modern faith is merely clinging to the hope in imag-ination—an idol of your minds eye, attempting to comprehend beyond comprehension, while simply picturing your flavor of god simultaneously makes you a sinner.

So, here we are—you are to blindly believe by your choice (a worthless epithet in disingenuity) but form no images of god, for in your grandest musings only offer pathetic, inadequate renderings offensive to the supreme offender.

“The Bible itself is now the ultimate graven image of our time, and all time” but as we see the believer cannot help but add to it. The idea of a god takes special, mental wrangling and wording to complete a sentence that stands without excuses to believer and non alike. Nothing written could even remotely approach it—and the image you’ve created holds no utility to humanism.

Artificial Selection—The Way of Religion

How humans are a shadow of their former selves through artificial selection.

The difference between the theory of evolution and the theory of god, the formal scientific definition of theory is quite different from the everyday meaning of the word. It refers to a comprehensive explanation of some aspect of nature that is supported by a vast body of evidence.

Like the artificial evolution induced in the Russian fox experiment (breeding for temperament only) created a completely different animal in just a few short years, breeding for belief through temperament (and because of belief) has had the same effect on humans.

Now a shadow of our former selves through unnatural selection, the general population has resolved to belief over substance, faith over fact, essentially giving-up on the quest for a firmer reality, acquiescing to the dogma at the threat of exclusion.

The natural man was no enemy to god—the natural man was god, but through domestication built on one trait, we have become subjects to ourselves. Genetically altered, weak and submissive, we now get what we were bred to be—prisoners with belief in a nothing…and smug about it.

More Than Atheism

How atheism is merely a point of awakening, not a final destination.

Is atheism the last station on the track? Of course, upon clearing your head from Abrahamic ownership of the cosmos, it may seem that-day to be a great awakening moment—there is much more to the story than that restricted system allows.

True, there are no gods, but is there nothing else at all? In the tradition of enlightenment we see the value of unbelief, then little by little the source reveals itself from within, that the universe is a complex living way, a happening where we live without belief, but in practice as a singularity.

As anthropology and archaeology sever the 6000 year shoehorning of human history, we find this happening has been going on much longer in a highly developed fashion of ebbs and flows, than the Yahweh story will allow.

Abrahamic religion can no longer hold back the tides of knowledge. Information and collaboration is happening around the world, fostering new discovery of what we can be, who mankind actually is, and ushering in a new, beautiful awakening of the human spirit. Once held divided for centuries by the insistence of one god, that ultimate idol which has distracted us from our true greatness through submission, to the prepackaged, poorly interpreted cultural bias of the awakening experience.

Atheism is simply unbelief in gods, but that may not be the whole story—It is what indigenous and others skilled in the meditative arts have known for a long time, but who in this system has time for that? Carefully guided through life settling for half truth and contradiction, it’s no wonder we’ve gone nowhere.

Christianity and Human Sacrifice—The Religion Built in Blood

Christianity—the real pagan blood cult

“Human sacrifice, if you haven’t noticed, is right out in the open all over the Old Testament. It is commanded and approved. Many today will falsely tell you that it bans human sacrifice, but that is not in the text”—K

This is however, a satanic style blood cult who sacrificed human beings with the approval of their most heralded prophet, Moses.

Save the right shoulder of your peace offering for a heave offering. This is performed by holding the right shoulder above your head while moving it rapidly up and down. When you’re finished with that, the priest will burn the fat and eat the rest”

This was done to dismembered human women virgins that had not yet known a man.

And levy a tribute unto the Lord … one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep: Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the Lord. … And Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the Lord commanded Moses. And the booty … was … thirty and two thousand persons in all, of women that had not known man by lying with him … of which the LORD’s tribute was thirty and two persons”—Numbers: 31

Christians have been deceived into believing they were ever the good guys. Its roots are purely sinister.

But wait, there’s more! Much more…

Is Four Old Enough?

How old were you when you became Christian?

In a survey by the International Bible Society — indicated that 83% of all Christians make their commitment to Jesus between the ages of 4 and 14, that is, when they are children or early youth. The Barna Research Group surveys demonstrate that American children ages 5 to 13 have a 32% probability of accepting Christ, but youth or teens aged 14 to 18 have only a 4% probability of doing so. Adults age 19 and over have just a 6% probability of becoming Christians.

Because the 4-14 age period slice of the pie is so large, many have started referring to the “4-14 Window.” Many people serving as career cross-cultural missionaries have testified that they first felt God calling them to missionary service during that 4-14 age period.

It’s a fair question. How old were you when you accepted Jesus?

The Rules of the Universe

Since when did religion become so serious? Solving the problem of evil.

The idea that the universe has a specific agenda and demands Christian behavior is laughable, really. The tyrannical father figure of the cultural near-east governs the universe expecting certain liturgy from its inhabitants (he has opinions) that we must believe in him in his secrecy or be cast off forever, right where we came from just a few short years ago. Back to the void? Hardly

Imagine having never existed, that it all began here…and after you die—nothing. If that is the case it defies the laws of energy, as well as being an uncomfortable and strange feeling.

You, can never not be. This physical experience only identifies as unique because it is contrasted by our normal existence. When you identify with yourself, who and what you are, it is never the physical activity of muscles and blood flow, breathing and chewing that composes you. Those things are automatically done in the background, without thought.

What you are is this; an infinite participant in the only possible game in the universe to relieve eternal boredom. All the knowledge and skill in the entire cosmos is at our disposal. There are no surprises or guesses, no waiting or wondering for an everlasting creature with trillions of eons, owning all of everything, knowing all of everything. What would an infinite being (such as me) possibly do to relieve the boredom, to pass the time? Enter into a realm of not knowing.

This blip of mortal existence, only interesting at all for the mere fact we don’t know the outcome nor the beginning. Bookended by two unknown voids, we jump in knowing full well the misery and the fame, the chance and the luck, despair and delight, for every ending we break through to our normal existence, bam! we laugh our ass off because the game gets us every time.

Why else would the truly enlightened refuse to involve themselves in the rescue of human misery? All the worlds a stage. We are a never ending happening of a living universe. Little neurons getting a glimpse of ourselves and experiencing emotions we could never know in our regular boredom.

Shedding Colonialism

Insights of a Filipino-Panamanian working in religious small town America.

The double insult of colonization from my experience in just one week of work.

I can’t speak for everyone, I only speak for myself and my point of view.

As I went to work, I centered myself for the upcoming chaos of being the new local high school secretary. Many things to learn and handle at once, with minimal training and a large dose of survival tactics.

I open the doors, make the coffee and enjoy the quiet ritual of gently waking our building up so that it may have a welcoming atmosphere.

One by one the teachers arrive and we have genuinely pleasant banter of our evening and the plans for the day.

Then the buses arrive. The students with their chatter and questions.

I love these moments.

As my day progressed I was speaking in Spanish to a student. She was concerned that her lack of being able to speak to anyone in Spanish was making her forget her words. Then a staff member walks in and interjects. “Isn’t it wonderful that our local school has provided you with someone to speak in Spanish to?” The student and I lock eyes and flinch. The staff member goes on, “ I’m sure you are very grateful for this opportunity. How does it make you feel to be able to speak in Spanish here in our little town?”

By then she and I are in a full side conversation just using out eyebrows and pointing with our noses. The student stops and puts her hand to her jaw and searches for the word she wants to share with the staff member. She voices without a doubt, “Awkward “

I knew she was talking about the situation and was not answering the questions being asked. The staff member told her she should not feel awkward about her English skills. I shook my head because this situation was way to big to handle and the phones were ringing.

I dismissed the student and told her not to pay any mind to what had just happened. She was welcome to come back and we’d talk about this situation later.

The student returned and was asking me a question—it was a silly one about her day and we giggled. As we did, another staff member walked in and slammed her hand on the counter repeatedly and yelled, “Speak English!! We live in America!”

The student and I were not pleased. I really wanted to ask her, “Why does it matter if I speak in another colonizers language?” I held my tongue. I apologized to the student on behalf of the staff member’s ignorance and she went back to class. Turning to the staff member who sat there with a huge grin as she celebrated her dominance and superiority, I said to her, “ I spoke to her in Spanish in a private conversation. Her shirt was not buttoned correctly and she would have been embarrassed if I had pointed it out in front of everyone in English.”

I felt weak, small and frustrated. How does one combat ignorance? My whole life has been confusing. Brown skin, white mind. I am a square peg trying to fit into a circular hole. I work twice as hard to get half as far as my Anglo coworkers. I try to convince myself that it’s just my work ethic. This is a whole other subject. The serviceable brown lady stereotype. Ugh.

I continue to navigate through life and find my footing, my voice and my strength. As I shed the colonization mindset that I was cloaked in as a child, I’m working on being kind and patient. It’s hard. I’m tired of making excuses for white privileged people and excuses for being me. This is going to be an interesting journey.

Morality Imprinted By God—Homo Ferens

A look at morality as a learned behavior of social construct

If morality is imprinted by god into the hearts of man, why is it that feral children adapt the morality of the host species? (so much for god imprinted on the hearts of men) Not only is such social behavior learned, but it is rarely unlearned, with the vast majority of these kids becoming institutionalized after capture—even after being baptized by the well intended, they remain in their adolescence mindset, be it wolf, monkey, antelope, or bear.

Interesting side note; feral children also develop the acute senses of their host species. Nocturnal vision, acute hearing, and sense of smell are all superhuman compared to the tame man, showing adaptations develop much more rapidly than one would expect.

Overhauling Belief Through Doubt

If you cling to the same belief in the same thing after all this—there’s a definition for that.

It is time for the world to embrace doubt. Running the hamster wheel for 3500 years of failed promises and the recent increases in divisive belief—beliefs that cause more hatred and self superiority, where peace is mere wordplay without ever meeting that objective.

It is time to doubt. Doubt that all you ever thought you knew was true. Doubt that the founders of religion and wealth blazed trails in actual wisdom, or just the most eloquently wrong winners of a debate in the history of the world. They’ve had their shot. Man and his belief has been the hurdle before the growth of our species. Mere convictions of primitive thought—hopes that have proven they have not elevated humanity. Doubt the path we are on will now unite us to make the world awesome. We can do better.

The failures are evidenced without a doubt. But we still church it up for the kids sake long after we know the intended result is a farce—never a fruition.

But, just hang in there, have faith and keep doing the same thing over and over. Someone once said that was crazy.

HERE is an Excellent TED on the gospel doubt. It is time to change directions.

The Source of Morality

How easy it is to identify the source of morality.

Forging more self discipline and restraint than any supposed morality dispensed by god, humans refrain because of what others will think—and will even claim to believe in god for the same reason.

Morality among mankind is nothing more than consensual dance of personal opinion inside a framework of what societies are collectively willing to tolerate, evolved into fairness bit by bit through trial and error, cause and effect, fear of exclusion (and indoctrination, of course)

Skirting religions own morality, “sin” is still committed in private as it always has been, where few reveal what they do alone (in the sole presence of their god) proves they really don’t believe any of it.

Not to place any blame on them for being human, but for pretending to be much more obedient than they are—because of what their fellow believers might see of what lies below the superficial piety and smiles, while inside the anxieties of endless failure eats away at their soul.

The church has quite a racket going, for who can change their consciousness without even knowing what that is, especially by way of commandment and threat? Revolving door repentance, penance, payments and guilt never cease the failures of an artificial morality no one can meet?

Philosophizing God

Better arguments needed to support deity.

If believing in god is enough to imagine him into existence, then god is equally diminished by the arguments against him. The seesaw effect, back and forth, god, no god, poof, there he is, then gone again. There is no advantage to believing because of a cleverly worded argument that can be dismantled by reason. The real existence of a god would be an irrevocable surety. It is not, therefore he is not.

If god were real, no argument would be needed. Take any of the popular arguments for god and at first glance—quite clever. But, that’s about as far as it goes. A genuine treatise shoehorning the existence of god would in fact, be evident without persuasion, manipulating word games, sermonic hormones, and overcoming doubt, which doubt in itself should be a red-enough flag.

The bottom line is this; Religion has the audacity to think it can outwit nature. Accepting this natural order takes the fear out of life and negates the threats of death with endless suffering posed by religion. It also restores the esteem to man taken by religion. Atrophy and decay is a normal part of this experience and getting that little fact takes the decision to fear from our hands and tosses it out—the decisions surrounding death is made for you. Indigenous types all over the world accepted it as the natural course of things. Even in men’s ignorance or brilliance it mattered not. It just is and is nothing to fear. Understanding that keeps one from getting suckered by religious threat and seekers of power.

Accepting the fact we don’t know what happened before this life or what happens after is truly the only thing that could possibly excite an infinite being like myself, infiltrated with all encompassing consciousness in his natural state.

Things have lived and died long before the Abrahamic visions of the monarchical boss. For millions of years species have came and went long before “the fall”, just as the earliest hominids lived and died out, so will we. So what? Oh those poor souls for all those years before Jesus.

Believe in Your Doubt

How doubt is so natural its value exceeds belief

The founders knew the power of doubt and hedged the stupor of faith with some clever cautions. Now, doubt is considered a trial to mature you in the faith, “there will be doubters and temptations, but god will reward you for your faith”—Just believe, god is testing your devotion.

Using your good sense to forfeit your good sense makes no sense. It puts one in the position of “we believe” and everyone is smarter when they join a group, right? My son used to always say, “no one is as dumb as all of us“.

If you fear the unavoidable unknowns that bookend this existence, by all means join a group to influence you to prejudice. Now you are in a position to believe great and abominable things by the power of groupthink. Now, go ahead, condemn and judge at will, hope them wickeds to suffer and burn, for the power and backing of the group has now made you something you’re not.

The reality—doubt is a warning to your inner self that your being conned. It’s a natural feeling to protect ourselves, but has been carefully crafted into a weakness by religious men of words who have a dog in the fight. Doubt is a weakness? Only if you need to believe.

To those who want to protect their minds from assimilating imaginations, doubt is an essential strength. Never give up your power to speak out. Ignoring doubt produces exactly the conundrum that allows nonsense to flourish. Quelling your openness to question everything—by fear of rejection.

Any group that will embrace you over belief, will abandon you over unbelief” Conditional friendships anyone?

The Idea of I AM—The Jehovah Effect©

How Christianity fuels the ego it is meant to kill

Ego enhancement, the attribute that captures certain men and women in the Jehovah Effect©, by thinking themselves exclusive (or important) because of a particular experience they’ve interpreted poorly. Ie; “I’ve had this spiritual interaction, my predisposed cultural interpretation drives urgency to self importance—now, I must do my part of The Way, The Truth™️, and The Life. No man goes to the source unless they hear what I say—and do what I admonish them to do”

The misinterpretation of “the experience” is what is wrong with the world

The universe has merely given you a glimpse of you—the all encompassing I AM while in your darkest hour, or still in training. Some have even claimed the experience of I AM as if they are the only one entitled to it (I and the father are one?) but the truth is much cooler than that. We are all the center of it, equally alive with the whole existence we cannot effectively grasp until we live in the present, which is eternally now.

Each of us already possess the very enlightenment we seek, but are privileged to pretend we don’t through insecurity, guilt, and the idea of self, or ego—that is the trick!

Muhammad had the experience as he lay in his cave, but if he has the final say, he also must extend that courtesy to me, for there is no difference but his disposition to align things to a culture of his times—control.

Jesus, having been conditioned by his culture interpreted himself to be the only way, the truth, and a god himself (which can happen if you’re not careful) It was true, but not solely his to claim, but mine and yours (ours) as well. He went calmly to his death with a surety this experience is only a waypoint amidst a much larger picture of a never ending play—we are it!

Be careful—the experience is real. It is there to ponder, to give perspective, to understand I AM and our place in the cosmos, but you first have to realize ego is an illusion. You and everyone and every thing are equally blended participants in a temporary field trip that can only be had with eyes that see and ears that hear—has been transformed into fear and punishment by those who feel their enlightenment surpasses yours and mine, which came actually from a crude cultural interpretation of a violent time. Those who get the joke just sit back and laugh (what else is there to do?) Ego is thinking you are you, but it isn’t you at all.

We are the mix of life and neither can one be without the other. The universe is the whole of life, while religion is trying to fix something that truly does not exist, make you feel guilty for it and then it becomes a contest—”who can be the most sorry for their sins and who can be humbler than the competition”—the ultimate ego, a misdirected sense of self, clinging to the idols of gods, deprecation, and forced humility.

Wolf tracks by the Columbia River at Hunters, Wa. 9/15/19 Measured 5 inches across.

What Denomination of Atheism are You?

How atheisms are limited to what we know we don’t know. Is there more to disbelieve?

How much do we need to know before we can safely say we don’t believe?

Having not much in the way of indoctrinations outside Christianity, my unbelief is limited to a specific scope of practice—a field test of the words and ideas that were forced on me without my consent since birth. Really, can we reject all the other gods we don’t yet know?

Since we don’t know much about eastern religion, nor the meanings of orthodoxy, or Hinduism, most of us here have an atheism to the Yahweh god of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The other gods we hardly know, so considering blanket disdain or unbelief in something unknown is nearly impossible but yet, hardly worth the time to explore it out.

The key strong belief lies in pretending this life holds vast importance, that your worry and concern are somehow moral, noble and righteous. But this just isn’t true, and fearing to really live life because of the dogmas has crippled humanity into a fear of being afraid, instead of allowing life to play out the scenes. Fear as a normal part of this exploration, like the order of operations, first comes fear, then comes the faith (which isn’t faith at all, but worry)

We have been conditioned to believe here in the Christian god out of fear and faithless worry, but really it’s all the other gods we don’t know that we should be concerned, worried, and watching about—for we know this one isn’t real.

Religious Reasoning—Taking One More Step

How believers stop reason before it’s reason.

There is a serious problem with not thinking things through to the end. We don’t care to solve religious riddles, but always stop short of conclusion—in the feel good parts. Without stopping there, no religious doctrine can stand to scrutiny. None is without contradiction.

For instance

Wouldn’t it be amazing to live forever with god in heaven (the big family reunion congratulating our friends and family that made the cut) Endless hugs and bathing Jesus feet in our tears of joy with no evil allowed? Considering how easily we get bored now, imagine with all knowledge and understanding of the universe at our disposal and we celebrate—and keep celebrating, like the endless techno-chicken stuck in a loop, choir music and no chance for sleep. How long will this suffering be tolerable? After 60 trillion years of willing yourself to die, but you’re just getting started. Besides, I’ve been to family reunions…

The only thing that makes this life even remotely interesting is the fact we don’t remember before this is just a play, and cannot quite recollect what happens behind the curtain when the act is over.

Dying will be a great jolt of laughter upon realizing this game has gotten us on…again. And the surprise of dying to life will be an eruption of laughter to wake from this dream we call life.

This has been going on a long, long time. We have fossilized human (hominid?) footprints from 100million, 250million, and 500million years ago. Not remembering it is the only exciting venue left in the universe.

Testimony—Feelings, nothing more than feelings..

How religious testimony is unreliable

The only evidence Abrahamic religion has is testimony—a pesky little confirmation of hormones goaded by hope and imagination, rewarded with a backslapping “good job” by merely believing—then assimilating.

Absence of evidence is evidence of absence. The results of Christianity isn’t one that can be measured. It is personal conviction that struggles to put into words what the believer himself thinks is crazy, but once you believe your own “personal” story, it open up a serious can of worms. The obligatory nature of spectral evidence (testimony) now should give validity to all perceived paranormal activity. It makes it habitual, but makes it even more crazy. Humans will believe anything. See, you really can’t understand my own personal experiences with god, but you are expected to believe my own personal experience from god (unless that experience is Muslim, Hindu, or other) That’s where Satan lurks.

Testimony is a system of believing the quirks of human neurology are divinely inspired. Fact, is not only the simple answer, but also more interesting. Our galaxy of electrical neurons occasionally mis-perceive, shut-down, cleanse, reboot, reroute, imagine and dream. The grand-mal seizure, the head injury, the near-death experience, trauma, crisis, divorce, loss of a loved one, etc, all put pressure on the neurons, which is gods way of introducing jesus to unbelievers. Wouldn’t having open dialog about our neural quirks without invoking the supernatural be a good exercise in tremendous growth to answer the questions how and why.

The second, second-hand way to god is through lying. Carefully rewording any story to inspire conviction in others causes another backfire in the confusion of our own neuroniverse. Why haven’t I had a visitation? Does god not love me? Am I not chosen? Am I doing something wrong? Am I a sinner? “I am not even worthy to latchet his shoes”. So, eventually through peer pressure we wind up praying for what we want. The neurological implications of praying for what you want to believe is a near guarantee you will get the belief you want. Prayer, deep consolation, meditation, group prayer (ugh, everybody hold hands) is at first a very uncomfortable feeling. Trust that instinct. But as you see around you, the smiles, the hugs, the tears, the joy of the dervish, compels you to want more, even though it’s a sickening display of self inadequacy and recurring shipwreck.

The third second hand is the tic, tic, tic, of your life passing you by living a system created by someone else, fine tuned by someone else, for someone else. As every institution grows it becomes more flawed, more corrupt, and religion has led this way. Breaking down it naturally gets more outlandish as they try to hang on. Religion is way over due for an undo.

Dopamine—one of several inner connections to god…that is real evidence.

Choosing Authenticity

How prepackaged everything has masked our identity. Who are you really without them? Who do you really want to be?

Stephen has done an excellent series on authenticity.

shifting our orientation from treating others as objects that exist to serve our interests, to an openness to the other as an expression of mystery.  This shift invites us to relate to others by resisting our temptation to reduce the other via labels, definitions and concepts and instead invites us to be open to who the other is as a multi-dimensional being who emerges over time”—Stephen

Authenticity is a set of skills really It is difficult in this day and age to discover our true selves. Everything that now influences us is carefully packaged by specialists and experts. Finding your true self requires one to analyze, step back and embrace real, authentic, internal change through awareness that our very core has been challenged by agendas.

Reincarnation—Uh, Thanks but No Thanks?

There’s too many people for me to consider reincarnating again.

After another round of worthless debate, my criticism of faith is now considered a belief system. I disagree, but I do need a belief to counter the destructive belief of modern monotheism. Forced to unbelief by the non-results of Christianity—I am a believer it has wasted years of peoples lives.

I went to town today to pick up some supplies. Everyone is in a hurry, to and fro like a street corner hooker trying to buy a moment of happiness. Traffic was a disaster and nobody smiling. Where is the happiness in America?

Speaking to my wife on the way home today about reincarnation—after looking at the still growing population and the stressful, non stop anxiety of colonialism, if reincarnation is real, I think I’ll just pass on it next time around—unless I could maybe go back in time.

Aphorisms on Faith

Can mankind transcend the limitations of religious belief?

Faith is an attachment to formative persuasions—an idea anchored by self doubt initiated by that same persuasion.

Faith is being directed into contemplating an idea, simply from hearing the questions.

Faith is pride in self deprecated belief absent of independent thought.

Faith is a solidified by the hormonal response, comforting human insecurity and the propensity to be easily deceived.

Faith is a comforting hope that elevates esteem without intellect.

With faith we build barriers between exaggerated reaction syndrome and acceptance. It allows us to blend rather than confronted with raised eyebrows—A state of beliefing though verbal and superficial physical obeisance. The idea of obedience supplants behavior.

Faith is merely stubborn pride repackaged as a virtue. Thought convictions played on insecurity without substance. Really nothing to fight over, but since beliefs are now the pinnacle of human intellect, challenging belief has become an affront to character.

Faith is a tightly held imagination your hope is true—then defending that right to hope with an argument.

Faith is what you resort to when you can’t reason your beliefs.

Faith is a state of mind that allows mediocrity to supplant achievement.

Faith is the result of fusing human limitations into cultural mediocrity. Since there is nothing a believer can do to un-fall this fallen world. Acquiescence defaults to hope.

Transcending belief mode and its limitations will be the key saving humanity. Faith allows the world to end on hope where action is needed.

By choosing a prearranged faith, dogma substitutes authenticity with platitudes.

Faith in your belief turns hope into intellectual and spiritual starvation.

Faith is the evidenced in human stagnation—clinging to the past and the failure to live in self confidence

Second Coming—The Transfer of Power

After building gods kingdom here on earth, how exactly do we hand the keys to Jesus?

Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three
—Luke 12:51-53

How will this same gospel unite us after Jesus returns in “power and great glory”? If his truth is eternal, isn’t what is true now be true then? Possibly Christianity has a higher hope that things will be better with a single theocratic ruler than I do.

The millennial reign of Jesus will be available only to those willing to continue to submit completely. There will be no dissenting the Lord in his glory. The entire millennial reign is an affront to free speech, free will, and our earnest attempts at a free republic (the best form of government)

There is a reason people fought to establish a republic, but how now do we transfer it to a kingship theocracy of totalitarian rule?

After every government possible is infiltrated by Jesus’ anointed leaders “building the kingdom” here on earth, how do we transfer that power to god? He’ll take it! Every knee shall bow and very tongue confess that Jesus is lord—or else.

We have never seen hell on earth like we do when theocracy will rule. It is written: “As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God—Romans 14:11

And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father”—Rev 2:23. Welcome to the rebirth. Like father like son?

If any of it were true at all… but it is people believing this tripe that has humanity at odds with each other.

De-Colonizing Your Mind

Recapturing authenticity—before the Abrahamic enslavement.

“Belief is something you turn to when you don’t know your authentic self”

What better way to control people than to make them sorry for being human? Make them believe they are simply fallen—nothing but welfare dependents expected to be grateful for even the most miserable of lives. Atheists can be just as deprecating as the religious. Human viruses, soulless, dispiritual evolutions of nothing more than a dumb, random accident of the primordial ooze. These are not my people.

Consumers, blindly selling their life and time away for gadgets and fleeting entertainment, the next more outrageous and wasteful than the last, trading life for accumulation, ignoring nature (or manipulating it) without restraint or care, but to eek out a few short years in physical comfort by self enslavement while ignoring vast potentials of depth, character, and connection—these are not my people.

Contentedness need only be approached by finding who you are in relation to this very moment of experience. Not a reminiscent wish or future imagination for the finding, but right now. Settling for cleverly worded ideology with unlimited empty promises has proven it will never run its coarse—grinding humanity to a near-dead stop for millennia. We’ve had enough, or maybe not…

Finding unity, the connection to consciousness is not achieved through belief, but by looking back past the colonizers so seeded with religious ego they destroyed the usefulness of practical knowledge and practice—truth once utility to life before Christianity planted its flags and Islam rooted its heels by force.

Spiritual unity—the knowledge of coexistence with the earth, its plants and creatures, the oneness of life before fear, even today is seen in the actions and minds of the child. Eventually we get to them, and such fearing is handed down because we’ve lost touch with the order of things, and death, the natural cycle of life after life interrupted by mere pauses.

The measurement of our civil advancement is now calculated by longevity. We’ve found a way to miserate ourselves longer and longer, traded for intellectual and spiritual starvation“.

The colonizers, unhappy alone in their own misery and quest for endless greed destroyed countless expressions of being, traded for derogation of everything good and substituted reality with platitudes.

Where we really are is somewhere in the mix of experience measured by time for the moment. Meanwhile “Our authenticity, guarded in distractions and dogmas of fear, is the natural man prior to persuasion, forced down roads of complexity, hiding the subtleness and beauty of the original you”

How to Dismiss the Wrong Beliefs

What works better than geography to determine the one true faith? Familiarity

With Islam overtaking Christianity through fertility rates, it must soon be the one True Faith© How can so many people have gotten it wrong, but in the process now of getting it right? The guard is changing because gods will is in control. The pendulum is finally swinging towards Mecca and there is no other explanation—except one.

Trading one wrong for another. It is belief itself that is the culprit—thought convictions so strong one would strike their own children because of them (or go to war with a neighbor) The way to know if your thought convictions are true is to apply the same criteria to your own faith as you do to others—and that they do to yours. Islam makes perfect sense…to a Muslim, while they shake their heads at the ridiculous Christians that have been duped beyond reason.

The truth is…there is no Abrahamic truth—there is only settlements of faith based on geographically bred familiarity.

Faith—dividing nations from within one believer at a time through the pulpits of propaganda and fear. It’s so obvious an atheist can see it. And that’s exactly the point.

Promises Promises

The attempts to forcefully fulfill prophecy

His covenant was to be everlasting, and they should possess forever the country he should give them. Now it is plain these promises never were realized.

They have never been fulfilled concerning the great blessings with which they were to be favored. For although they won a few small victories over some poor nations whom they plundered, this did not prevent them from being conquered and reduced to servitude, their kingdom destroyed as well as their nation.

And now the remainder of this unfortunate nation is looked upon as the vilest and most contemptible of all the earth, having no country, no dominion, no superiority. Finally these promises have not been fulfilled in respect to this everlasting covenant which God want to have for filled to them because we do not see now nor have we ever seen any evidence this covenant has been fulfilled. On the contrary they have been for many centuries excluded from the possession of the small country they pretended God had promised that they should enjoy forever—Voltaire

Now it is propped up by the United States. Like all of Christianity is propped and joined with governments, for it cannot stand on its own merits. The one foreign domain ignorant enough to believe the imposters who feigned to be prophets and who, in order to more easily deceive the ignorant and simple minded, boasted of acting and speaking by the Spirit of God. The saddest part about believing in a god as the head of your nation—living conceited while vastly overestimating your greatness. Boasting the power of a god who requires the wealth and missile systems of another country to enforce its scripture.

The ritual heritage that we are so fond of it in detail descends from animal sacrifice, colored clothing, blood, livers, bird crops, and kidneys. Animal skins, dung, smoke, foreskins and certain measures of oil with wine—the whole being offered and infected by dirty ceremonies as filthy and contemptible as the most extravagant performances of magic.

The Art Of Theism

The-ism /‘THē,izem/—the belief in the existence of a god or gods, especially the belief in one god as creator of the universe that has personal relation to his creations

Theism abuses ideas to promote their own source of validation by degrading all of humanity—breaking them to the lowest level of creature vs lifting them up.

Theism is the ultimate display of pride in self doubt—only through faith can you be whole, which is pure rubbish.

Theism writes disingenuous attempts to promote the will of a deity they readily admit escapes comprehension.

Theism promotes faith so humans fail to act of their own accord—waiting for guidance when deep down they already know what to do, lacking confidence because of the same faith.

Theism persuades men to condemn other men for their genetics and lack of Jesus in their culture.

Theism demonstrates mans ability to dismiss pure reason to pacify insecurity.

Theism teaches faith in god (the ultimate idol) which is merely a substitute for our own achievement and effort—reality teaches us there’s nothing like finding contentment through doing something for yourself and achieving self worth through accomplishment.

Theism is the ability to nurture pretending, believing, and hope, into an honor, resorting to faith when you can’t reason your belief

Theism has constructed a god that requires us to wait for reward—convincing believers that true peace is after life and conjures one to waiting instead of making it so now.

Theism is to abuse faith—a temporary principle of discovery by making it the pinnacle of achievement.

Theism is the arrival at nothing; mere thought convictions without substance or positive results. How long does an idea deserve to meet its objectives?

Theism is the ability to dismiss hard evidence of historically poor outcomes by believing that it’s convictions are not the cause of the outcome (but everywhere it planted it’s flag, cruelty followed)

The strongest of faith cannot endure once we know truth, but is then often secured by pretending and group pressure. Faith however, cannot exist with the slightest amount of proof. It is imperative there is no proof. Proof would not destroy religion, but it would kill faith and it’s ill affect on the human race.

Theism is a way of challenging death…while still dying.

Theism is a way of assigning meaning to random chaos, blaming a devil for the ills in the world then punishing those that don’t believe that—for merely a different thought.

Theism attempts to use reason to explain belief by clinging to traditions molded before reading was common.

Theism embraces the thought that humans are incapable and justify misplaced devotion to imagination. Humans are actually pretty awesome. But by belief they can be persuaded to do the unthinkable.

Theism rewards mere thought conviction and words as something of substance and will punish those that don’t have them.

Theists practice the art of exaggerated importance. Honoring strong faith (which is simply stubborn pride) stemming from a challenge in reverse psychology. Who can claim belief most earnestly in the face of knowledge reaches the pinnacle of faith.

Are We Artifacts Made? The Consequence of Ignorance.

How Abrahamic faith is a fundamentally flawed way to view the world

What difference does it make what your religious beliefs are? The Christian idea from “in the beginning” that has influenced half the world and its relationship to it, is we are an artifact; figurines made from clay by a maker.

We’re not naturally occurring people but artificial, synthetic composition, and this belief is having dire consequences—spending our lives trying to manipulate this temporary, foreign world to our comfort to help pass the time of this probation, when in reality we are grown from the earth itself and should be more attuned to it. We are an equal part of the whole—though we have lost much touch with it through the beatings and burnings. We are not bought and paid for guests with an owing—the galaxy, the earth, is home. We go nowhere.

Teaching children they were made by god and merely visitors here on probation (and naughty children that ought to be punished merely for being alive) although with enough training and punishment we can become tolerably human, is horrible parenting that lasts into our old age. We have actually grown naturally from the earth and it’s time to start acting like it…again.

Heaven really could be here on earth, but western culture influenced by religion believes we are estranged people here on probation, essentially now waiting for a very late bus to come with nothing to do. Are we merely visiting passers-by on trial to be observed, while father takes notes on our sexual purity but gives a pass on earthly abuse for money.

This initial premise from the garden of eden—a poor explanation as fact (an ignorant guess?) is not only unscientific, it is a psychological and social train wreck. Believing something as fundamentally wrong as this, is evidenced in its outcomes.

Daytime sun through the heavy smoke.

The Newness Wains—Defending the Faith

Apologetics—defending what you failed to think about until you thought about it.

Happy with the surge of new found faith? Give it time. This is just the beginning…

Being carefully guided in belief, we learn what “we believe”, but the group effect has some curious side effects. In order to bend your bullets around corners it takes some clever self-interplay as well, guiding your mind carefully into a non-functioning model of thought conviction with no substance—peace through stagnation and empty promises.

The comfort zone of nonproductive faith includes:

  • More Handwaving than you anticipated
  • Answers without substance become natural
  • Built-in redundancy
  • Out-thinking your opponent without thinking of your opponent
  • Increased desire for sin
  • Misplaced gratitude

God is good. Sure, he steadies the hands of the surgeon, but did you know, before surgeons are qualified to operate, they must meet a set of challenging education requirements? These generally include four years of undergraduate study, four years of medical school leading to a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, and three to eight years of surgical residency at a hospital.

Not to mention having the guts to do the dirty work—digging around in cadavers and engaging in mastery of human anatomy and physiology.

Don’t thank god, thank those who are willing to explore (in any field) People are pretty awesome and there’s no shame in accepting that. If we are going to make it on this rock, we could certainly use some help. But, you may have to set beliefs on the back-burner and engage as passionately in a skill as you do in mere belief. That same belief that has made a lot of claims, yet here we are, having gone nowhere for 2000 years and already hoping and praying it ends? That is the history of faith. Every generation thinks this is it! It isn’t even close.

I believe in the potential of humanity, but first we must discard the biggest problem that holds us in first gear.

The padlocks on this paper show how some things are just way too important to some people—beliefs are no different. There is a better way.

God Has Spoken—Volumes of Silence

When and how much is enough?

The example is set—intermittent millennia’s of silence, mixed with an occasional oddball, prophetic utterance of ambiguity, god has spoken by not speaking. The last few prophets, David Koresh, Marshall Applewhite, Jim Jones, and Joseph Smith, met their fate and still—the absence of gods will being done on earth as it is in heaven; or maybe this is it.

We are on our own here—and no amount of prayer or belief is going to change that. If there is a god who is a wise father, we would sleep in the beds we have made until every last human is wrung out with foul starvation and exhaustion. Extinction is after all, the final tally as the earth is “rolled together like a scroll” and the lights shut off.

If we are to survive (whether man made warming or not) when she starts to burn you better have a plan B. Where do we go, underground, underwater, or leave this rock for another?

This will be different than the ice age survival. Cave paintings from the period show hands with missing and shortened fingers suggestive of frostbite. This time it will be drawings of desertification, cracked soil, flames on already scorched earth scratched into the walls with animal rib cages, carcasses, and withered corn.

This is what the Christians pray for—thinking they’ll escape the trials through another man-made disaster (the rapture) while the heathens burn on the hell they’ve helped create with overuse and carelessness. There is no reason for an omnipotent rescue. None. His total power is never wielded for our benefit, only for his pleasure, or our demise, “if” there was such a thing as a god he’s liking what he sees. It is good…very good.

What shall we eat or drink when the flies and carcasses litter the parched earth? How will we grow food for 8 billion people on a The new Sahara’s of our world. The arctic region is having record fires. Billions of pounds of stored carbon being released from the massive peat bogs and forests on fire! Is this not a concern?

Initiation Mythology—A Rite of Passage

How Christianity is now a barrier to human development.

Abrahamic mythology has raised a barrier to western progress and thought the past two thousand years. It’s a truly despicable way to think about things—convincing much of the world that they are unworthy, incapable, and merely orphans created out of nothing with no mother, and no true father either—but by adoption we can be tolerated (for how long nobody knows (insert platitudes* here) but god, who can do nothing wrong in his wrongs.

It is only by grace we are allowed to slog around as incompetent creations of clay, owing our very existence to the father who created us. We deserve to be punished at any and every moment, and the only reason it hasn’t happened yet is the kings guess. He has but one son who is the object of his affection, while the rest of us grovel prostrated in front before him—born guilty and on constant probation with his watchful eye never resting it’s intrusive gaze.

That barrier requires us to crawl to it, to obey ourselves into gods good grace. We owe him everything, primarily because he created us out of nothing, and without him we may not exist at all. You owe him and are forever in debt, and are to thank and praise him no matter how dismal the circumstance.

The test is not to believe and submit as they have us believe, that is done most automatically, deceived from birth to death—we are all under the rule of the collective minds that go nowhere as a people but round—forever postulating and dissipating our spent energies back into the cosmos. The test is to not only not believe it, but also to transcend its limitations—it’s influence, and become a contributor. The first step is unbelief. There is an entirely positive way of seeing the world and humanity, but we have to earn our independence because we deserve it, not because it’s been handed to us.

Paul, if anything, was as a guru placing a test—a barrier in front of the people as a rite of passage. Presenting a circuitous, seemingly unsolvable conundrum before humanity as a means of control until they are ready for the next level.

What it Means to Believe

How to imagine belief into substance

The true meaning of belief is to powerfully imagine“.

Humans have great imaginations and will consider criticism of such supernatural/religious fantasy as an affront to character. If you cannot imagine what they imagine at a ridiculously high level, you are not fit for the kingdom of god.

Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”—Mark 9:24 / ie; Lord, I can imagine that; help my imagination!

Finding the right things to imagine is the key to strong faith. “In my fathers house there are many mansions. If it were not so I would have told you“. Notice he never explains what it is like in heaven, but lays it at the feet of your imagination—the most powerful tool in the playbook.

Imagine that! Belief/imagination/religion is to pretend that the question trumps the answer and the search is the true meaning. A philosophical approach that sets “I don’t know” to wordplay. There are answers, but few want to know much beyond feeling good by believing in a system with no substance.

Now we are at an impasse. I am supposed to imagine the unimaginable, and believe that select humans have a personal relationship with it. The masterful play on human psychology—to pretend substance comes through belief and arrival rests on the pinnacle of imagination.

Meanwhile, we imagine a Saviour, someone to come down out of the sky to fix our wastefulness while we remain a greedy people and rationalize human destructiveness by waiting it out—but belief in god will not save us. That is up to us to address reality.

The meaning of Life

Watching religion unfold from the cheap-seats

The meaning of life is to subjugate your will to imagination.

As a religious spectator—life has its own meaning, or get bogged down with the rule book—or the experts. We all remember that one guy who would always quote the rule book, but only when it was to his benefit?

The coach—Preaching is a most unworthy profession. If you can’t do, teach! Pseudo-wisdom and just enough fear smattering through the sermons to keep you coming back, burying themselves in the doctrine to hide their lack of faith by pretending. Caught up in the game itself, but lacking any accomplishment in life, they plow through the book and find a million different ways to say the same thing. Like a motivational speaker that entangles each talk with a threat. Teaching others not to trust their own judgement—how empowering.

The player coach—Youth pastors are training to be real pastors. Enamored with the “men of words” and someday having his own congregation (he’s such a good boy) his enthusiastic sickness has never read the Bible through, but what he has read was carefully explained.

The referee—Governing bodies that look the other way and move priests from parish to parish to protect the name of the church. Payoffs and gag orders, protect the good name of the lord, even at the cost of a child. Skilled in sleight of hand, priestly gerrymandering makes these guys a top pick for ruthless prick.

The team—Everybody is running their own plays. Everyone else is doing it wrong (in this I agree) My favorite however, is the cheater who gives glory to god for every goal, and supplements his business ventures with car sales.

The Spectator—the one that watches it all unfold in a game that should have never been invented

Studying rule books is a way of life for most of the world. Hell, we’ve all done it (which is why we are here) but now we watch the plays unfold from the cheap seats,

It’s amazing what one can see from this vantage point! The game of unfun—religion…stuck in your craw like a hometown referee.

HG Wells—

How long ago, Christianity died..

Indeed Christianity passes. Passes—it has gone! It has littered the beaches of life with churches, cathedrals, shrines and crucifixes, prejudices and intolerances, like the sea urchin and starfish and empty shells and lumps of stinging jelly upon the sands here after a tide. A tidal wave out of Egypt. And it has left a multitude of little wriggling theologians and confessors and apologists hopping and burrowing in the warm nutritious sand. But in the hearts of living men, what remains of it now? Doubtful scraps of Arianism. Phrases. Sentiments. Habit

So we see HG Wells, ably predicting many future events, also ably observing the condition of Religianity™️ There are no more replacement parts. Time for a new model—

Where is God—A modern Invention

Interesting how god is absent in ancient cave art

Of all of the most important things one would scribble on a wall, seems like god would be one of them.

32,000 years ago an artist lived in what is now modern France. Not some pre-enlightened hominid, (for by their works you shall know them) but a talent renown.

200 such paintings in the Chauvet cave alone. Recently discovered caves in various parts depicting hominid and wildlife motifs also show the hand of an accomplished artist. They also show that life may have been very different than we imagine—and the hands of the artists too.

Scenes depicting more modern and also extinct animals, human hands, landscapes, mermaids, sailing ships, but the most important thing (one would think) is gods. Where are the priests and deities in these 20-30,000 year old efforts? Funny how we label the ancients as “primitive” but quite possibly the ideas of god are strictly a modern invention we project in reverse, presupposing because our brains have been ruined by the idea.

The Transmission of Faith—Now What?

What to do with all this belief that took no effort to acquire?

Imagine a moment I’m projecting my consciousness on you—there, that was easy.

That is the beauty of religious belief. It takes no effort nor academic discipline, but is lauded as type of high achievement. Belief was never intended as an end-point, but a proving ground, a temporary waypoint to truth. We test our theories and improve them, retest and share them, accept criticism and hone our hypothesis into a working physical model that creates actual things—results.

Resting on belief we find there is nothing to do, no equations to solve, no advances in the general knowledge of humanity, so we take to the road and teach the technique on others—and believe harder, like concentrating on it could bend a spoon. Dreamy philosophies of heaven and celebrated archaic battles in hairsplitting, immoral grandeur.

It is not natural to believe in god. How many have found god having never been persuaded, presented, or indoctrinated by another mere mortal? The true wonder of nature hits us the first time our toes touch the grass as a child. It’s real and you know it! That wonderful mystery spawns curiosities and appreciation all on its own. Through beliefs we quickly quell the desire for discovery, resting on our smug fat butts with a specially tailored shortcut to never knowing anything—Faith

Like a kid that found his dads hatchet, what are we to do with all this free time? What else is there to do but injure yourself and everything around you? And thinking about thinking about belief. Whoa! That’s deep!

What is Spiritual and Why it’s Not

How humans assign greater importance to things they don’t know

Why do humans treat things they can’t see with more reverence than things they can? Spirituality is the act of making holy the voids in human perception through imagination.

Faith is the act of assigning honor to things you wish were real as if believing them actually meant something. Unsatisfied with Providence and what minimums it provides, we fail to live in the moment through supplemental prayer, always looking ahead and hoping because we have settled for mediocrity—belief someone or something else can make it better. Proving really, that humans can see a much better solution than the framework “god” has provided his pinnacle of creation through religion.

After careful scrutiny we find anything that persuades belief before thinking, is doctrinally sound. Anything doctrinally sound will never be settled without faith.

Who would do that but a manipulative genius who preyed on the weaknesses of human psychology? Religion is basically reverse psychology for grownups, inflicted on our youth to prevent them from becoming grownups—to lead a dependent life.

There is a difference however, between the regular, know-nothing Christian who is trying to make his way through life with tools that have been forced upon him by persuasion and fear, and the apologist who is an apologist because he knows better, but won’t face the failures of religion with integrity.

There is one good reason no man has ever seen god. Anyone want to take a shot at why?

Breaking it all Down

Christianity may be right after all—aligning the quantum mechanics

I have a stone here in my hand made of granite—an igneous, course grained rock formed under intense pressure, composed mainly of quartz and feldspar with minor amounts of mica, amphiboles, and other minerals. What are its components made of?

Breaking it apart, cracking the composition into smaller and smaller fractions to the nth°, we finally find the atom, lay open the pieces and we find nothing—like a Russian Matryoshka doll. Left with an empty shell comprised of .00000001% of “physical matter” in the common understanding.

We are made of barely nothing—a mere projection from the conscious vacuum, gravitational waves, and energy. We are space. We are in fact, energy. The eyes and ears, neurons of our own entity. The whole universe of everything.

Similarly, we find the firm foundation, the rock of ages, the priesthoods, the believers, the fathers of dogmas by errant perception of regionally based experience, and when we break it all down to its core and lay out all the parts we find nothing. It is coated, however, with a large smudge of hope and bullshit.

The study of theology, as it stands in the Christian churches, is the study of nothing; it is founded on nothing; it rests on no principles; it proceeds by no authorities; it has no data; it can demonstrate nothing; and it admits of no conclusion. Not anything can be studied as a science, without our being in possession of the principles upon which it is founded; and as this is not the case with Christian theology, it is therefore the study of nothing—Thomas Paine

At the core of religion we find it relates to science after all. After peeling back the layers we find nothing. No substance, no proof, no matter, no bliss, but under intense pressure to believe. I’m certain Delusionite™️ is an undiscovered element for the periodic table—we certainly have evidence of its existence.

There are no Spiritual Realms

Through discovery we gradually see it’s all a physical phenomenon

As we discover deeper and deeper into the quantum field, our understanding expands and we gradually grasp the nature of nature and its building properties.

Is the electricity that powers your toaster “metaphysical”? We have harnessed its potential and understand how to manipulate its properties, but really don’t know much about what it actually is. Is the free movement of these electrons that constitutes an electric current supernatural? Of course not. Is the electric currents that flow through the universe, that are perceived more intently by some than others, a supernatural phenomenon? Certainly not. We can read many of these impulses and feelings in the EEG.

The only spiritual realms or “non physical” worlds are just not discovered and quantified yet. We are still a superstitious lot, but when we master these principles—not by viewing them with our eyes but by manipulating them with our genius, we will see the universe is all a matter of matter. Understanding sometimes takes time—I’ll wait.

Real Faith—The Faith of an Atheist

How atheists show the greatest faith of all—but it’s not what they think

It is not about the science. Atheism is the ultimate expression of faith—letting go of the idols of gods with complete confidence in the central mystery—we are the midst of it, swimming in it and completely surrounded. We are It. How else would you know but that it is so central as our being we cannot consciously recognize it.

Atheism in the informal sense is a profoundly religious attitude. An attitude in life of total trust of letting go. When we form images of god they are all really exhibitions of our lack of faith—something to hold on to, something to grasp.

When we don’t grasp we have the attitude of faith. If you let go of all the idols of faith you will of course discover that what this unknown is precisely, the foundation of the universe, which is precisely you.

It is not the you you think you are (it is not your opinion of yourself) it is not your idea or image of yourself, it is not the chronic sense of muscular strain which we usually call “I” You can’t grasp it, of course not, why would you need to? Suppose you could, what would you do with it? You could never get at it!”.

And so there is the profound central mystery of the attitude of faith—to stop chasing it, to stop grabbing it. Because if that happens the most amazing things follow. All these ideas of the spiritual, the godly as this attitude of “must“—”And we have laid down the laws which we are all bound to follow“. This is not the only way of being religious and relating to the inefable mystery that underlies ourselves in the world—you.

If we cling to belief in God, we cannot likewise have faith, since faith is not clinging but letting go“—Alan Watts

Physics and philosophy are converging into what is, while religion, the restrictive band (the choke point) is digging another ancient foothold to maintain control through fear and deprecation—

Taking Credit—The Art of Shoehorning

How religions hijack natural phenomenon—and believers believe

Who. Made. God?

The question gets a quickly dismissed—the only way the believer can keep the debate alive. But really, it’s a child’s question and deserves honest inquiry. Religious philosophy falls pathetically short of the mark—”Whatever caused the universe can not have a cause itself. It must be an “unmoved mover” (or uncaused causer). That’s generally accepted in all communities“. Who’s? So religions can claim creation?

Dave has accepted the Big Bang and the 13.8 billion year scientific creation hypothesis—now attempts to shoehorn Jesus and YHWY in as the creators. The earth certainly needed be created. How else did it get here? Says who? But, whoever created it certainly could not have been created too. That is god, says who?

Since he is now accepting science claims, will he also accept the scientific conclusions when life begins or on climate change?

It fascinates me that, right at the end of logic, right at the end of reason—we find religion laying claim, lying in wait to deceive with mere belief. Defining debate rules to desperately hang-on to some poorly interpreted meditations. Do your own meditations! Humans have two curses haunting them. Gullible, and Lazy! Religions masterfully manipúlate both with turn-key spirituality that falls short. Very short. Abrahamic religion isn’t nearly the best story (it’s yours) but it’s all about the packaging. Ready-made enlightenment was never so easy…to the lazy who won’t put in the time on their own meditations, but merely copies of copies of agendized copies. The blur is now relative to the amount bullshit spattered on a page—a life in the Bible

You’ve ordered your package and wait by the mailbox but it never comes… or when it does? It’s never as described and poorly fashioned, but hey, the no return policy is an authoritative excuse. Who are we to question god? He’s now testing your faith.

Castilleja, commonly known as Indian paintbrush or prairie-fire, is a genus of about 200 species of annual and perennial herbaceous plants native to the west. I have them in my yard!

Reasoning With Resonance

How reason tells us there is only life

Spending a lot of time and years searching for meaning, wondering, worrying, sometimes hoping life lasts and lasts, while other times wishing it was over, takes up a lot of our thought-time here in the earthly—don’t let life pass you by searching for meaning over having experience You won’t find it. You are it.

We certainly can be entertained by the search. The philosophy is quite good to hear and read, but where does it go? What good is knowing your future or understanding past, your hopes shifted here and there by a little dose of some neat words?

Tomorrow is as uncertain as the past (what we can remember of it) and was a state of mind that’s no longer me, but will be accountable for in the Christian hereafter. Maybe I’ll get Alzheimer’s and forget the wrongs I’ve done before I go to die, what then? Is there a dividing line?

We can’t see the supernatural because we are the supernatural. We are a ripple in the extension of galaxies, an antennae, a presence of convergence in the fabric of space and energy. When we meditate and perceive what seems to be another world, are merely glimpses into our past and timeless future. Like a fish seeing the water and being in awe, we too cannot perceive the baseline of our existence which is space (we are made of it) which is life itself.

We. Are. It. We are not I as we typically think of. We cannot find the meaning of our existence because we are the meaning of our existence. Through our lens the universe, us, views itself unknowing the vastness we call space, is we. It is so obvious we cannot imagine life with it or without it.

Abandon the father figure of god that is so ingrained in our western culture, for “god” is merely a co-op, a dispensary of source energy, consciousness, that very concept that eludes us is indeed the mystery. We could not know the darkness without the light, nor peace without the turmoil, heaven without the hell. We exist unable to comprehend our opposite because “I am that I am”.

We cannot imagine what life was like before we were born. Nor can we accept that death is the total end, and at that moment would be as though we never were. To posit an end means we had a beginning. We cannot envision a beginning or an end—we are incapable of it because we always have been.

On Spirituality

How religion is an anchor to the souls of men—dragging a dead weight.

I am an atheist. There is little to convince me the natural order of things needs guidance to align itself with compatible attractions. I do not naturally concur or conclude any god or gods, but only by desperate, impatient persuaders and force-fed answers are we convinced—surrender to its message or be damned.

However, I do not discount the fact that some people are attuned differently to the universe and take advantage of its properties. We are all part of this electric, energy-field of space, full of Planck waves and particles, entangled one with another and everything in between. We are made of energy. It would make sense that we should be able to interact in these fields to our benefit—to use them in the understanding of humanity. We are a part of it, comprised of the same waves that surround us. There is no empty space.

Enter Religion

They have all attended the same schools of thought for the past 3000 years. They debate every friggin word of the Bible (literally) and are a constant dead-weight dragging on the conscious fabric of space. We’re dragging an anchor around with us. Can we imagine for a moment—everyone engaged in real solutions developing human potential celebrating their individual abilities, versus pigeon-holing humanity into a self deprecating belief and abandoning the natural connections and abilities?

There are merely a handful of very smart people plowing on to advance the human cause. How do we escape the numbing stupor of religious beliefs? Humans have the capacity to be outstanding!

“For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself“—Galatians 6:3

I could not disagree more. Seeing what we have to work with I’d say we have much more capacity than the “unworthy servant”.

We start with an insufficient premise of defeat, the worthless sinner, the holes of indoctrination offer an ongoing climb that only gets deeper. We can do more! Much, much more when we realize we’ve got this way beyond “glory to god” for allowing one damn problem free day. The bar is low—way too low.

Whereas all rivers flow to the sea, carving, meandering ways, changing course, moving mountains and civilizations—so it is in the whole universe”

A-theism—Order of Operations Explained

International zealot of the month—and his 30 followers.

Matt—Atheism can’t exist without theism. You can’t deny a God who doesn’t exist. Therefore, atheism is proof of God.

Me—Atheism is actually proof the writers were wrong. Man can be tempted more than he can bear. And BTW, atheism precedes theism so your argument is fallacious. I only learned I was a worthless sinner and needed god from missionaries telling me so. I was born atheist.

Mattie—A- is a prefix to theism, it modifies it to mean the opposite.
Therefore A-theism can’t exist without theism.
Learn how words work.

Me—The word theist may precede the word atheist, nothing more. Theists that criticize the limitations of speech lack common sense (faith again). You have no argument. I was born atheist as you were. You just take the bait—I don’t. Wordsmithing doesn’t change the order of operations.

Mattie—If you were born an atheist why does God bother you so much?

Me—There is no god to bother me. Evidence however, would actually kill faith. You still have faith, therefore you have no evidence. Truth 1:3

Matt—Dude, we just reconciled the Bible with ALL physical evidence and empirical observations. I hope the hole in the sand where you keep your head is comfortable.

Me—I’m quite comfortable watching you unwind.

Matt—That’s called whining.
Your desperation is palpable.

After losing on the word atheist he quickly came unwound to insults. His site is fringful wishes to prove the Bible through science. Might be interesting if the hate and ignorance wasn’t so “palpable”. Cheap entertainment if you have a moment.

Careful to engage, it gets ugly fast. Put colorstorm and branyan together in a bottle of steroids on LSD and voilet! But you can judge for yourself (unless you’ve already submitted your brain to god)

Want to Believe

“Humanity desires belief and will sacrifice good sense to get one“—then pay dearly for the ability to hope and pass the litmus test—to have enough belief to be saved.

They pay with their wallets, of course, but what is the real price of fervent belief in ideas that fantasticize spiritual meaning?

Subterfuge—”deceit in order to achieve one’s goals“. Shortcuts to meaning are impossible to produce the desired results—Settling for meaning by way of fear is diminished capacity—through belief we can ignore our deficiencies for third party recompense.

Turn-key, prepackaged, big-box religion has an interesting, if not completely arrogant approach, using subterfuge to present group enlightenment and personal salvation while shortchanging the creature. Firstly, exacting guilt where there is none, chopping humanity down only to notch it back to an average, mediocre, lifetime dependency.

If I believe Jesus is savior and son of god, I can be saved. If I don’t believe this version from lack of evidence and consistency I will be damned to eternal torment—so basically handwaving contradictions and errant outcomes are tests of faith that must become a way of life to keep your senses. Who would present such a far-fetched and cruel story and believe god is good, merciful, kind, and love?

The truth will set you free“, not belief, not faith. The key to discovering truth is unbelief, for by it we reject incongruity without adhering to systems that stifle our ability to see the world for what it is.

By submitting to belief our journey is carefully guided down the path of mediocrity. The current state of affairs is the objective reality of subjective faith.

Shouldn’t Truth Unite?

Wouldn’t all universal truths self evident?

Truth always divides due to the existence of lies. I fear and reverence God. I also love Him more than life itself. If you sought Jesus Christ through His Word and prayer with as much fervor as you use to argue and debate His non-existence then you would see the reality that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life“—tjcole

If truth divides and not beliefs, why are Muslims fighting Buddhist and Christians fighting Christians, all jockeying for the perfect wording to prove their truth—and killing for it too? Real truth is easily identified because it is universal (we find these truths to be self evident) They don’t require dogmas.
Like, if all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. Nothing of a religious doctrine should suppress one group over their genetics. Christianity is a walking contradiction when it comes to human issues.

Picking real cherries does not make me a Christian…

How to know there is no God

“Just out of curiosity do you believe there is no God?” Lander

That is not a valid question. Unbelief is not a belief. Your statement is a misnomer. The evidence that has been attributed for god have other valid explanations (including forgery) In fact, most of what was once attributed to the gods are now fields of study these days. I’m not so gullible to assume these last few pieces to the puzzle won’t be explained in the near future. I’ll wait so I don’t have to backtrack to keep finding cracks to shoehorn in an underwhelming, divisive belief into pseudo-reality.

Out of curiosity, do you believe there are no other explanations for unreliable human perceptions? There are dozens of one cares to look.

THIS 4 minute bird video will brighten your day!

Tests of Faith—Then vs Now

How faith in god is tested today—the greatest test of all time.

What exactly today is the greatest test of faith? Strong faith, promoted as a self sustaining virtue of religious belief, is the cornerstone, the footing, the walls and the capstone of religion. None stand to keep the whole intact without faith. We’ve discussed how mental trickery and indoctrination is used for faith gained, but how is it tested?

There are stories of Abraham, Moses, Jesus on the high mountain, as well as the apostles that had tests of their faith. But in what way is faith tested today? What is it measured against? What is it today that is the ultimate test of devotion? —your resistance against knowledge.

Abraham had it easy. He was tested to see if he would kill his only son in a time of brutality. A violent social normalcy that was already laden with superstition. He heard voices, and followed the (accepted by the day) promptings, and at the last second had woken from his trancelike state and withheld his hand. So what? In a time where little was understood about disease, gods accounted for everything from rain to floods, lightening to drought, God was interwoven into the psyche and dreams of everyone for every thing. His command to kill his son was difficult, but acceptable to him as a means to appease a god.

Other stories of zealousy are quite easily attributed to the times and the passion of religious fervor and power. Knowledge was shunned, separated, imprisoned, suppressed, and heretical so faith could thrive, only on an uneven field in a vacuum. Very uneven!

Today the faithful are tested at every turn with facts—overwhelming explanations that replace god, so warnings resonate from the pulpits and broadcasts, poisoning the well ahead of academics, indoctrinating young and old with continuous barrages of false oppression—all to guard them against embracing knowledge—for in the face of evidence, chronic denial and mediocre scholarship is the key to maintaining faith.

unFaithing—Saving Humanity

It begs the question—what if there is no god?

The biggest regret of humanity—examining what we have done and how we have behaved after realizing there are no gods. This regret is typical of de-converts even now.

The earth is in turmoil—they do nothing but wait..for a supernatural…solution.

Life on earth is a race of beliefs—to appear correct (and word it just right) and accumulate enough stuff before we die, before there is no more—like a gas tank on empty, we press the pedal irresistibly harder. Maybe with enough speed the roads of overuse and will converge only after we’re done here.

Life non-earth—after the resurrection and the world is led by Jesus, we will no longer need this physical world—I guess it makes sense to trash it now. But this begs the question that Christianity loves to pose—what if you’re wrong? What if there is no god? Maybe we should err on the side of caution and be a little kinder.

The Great Potential of Humanity

Religions, no matter how absurd are protected by law because they cannot stand on their own merits. This buffer allows absurdity to be honored as a virtue.

Religion has at every age kept the human mind in darkness and held it in ignorance of its true relations, of its real duties, and it’s true interests. It is but in removing its clouds and phantoms that we may find the source of truth, reason, morality, and the actual motives which inspire virtue—Jean Messlier 1704

What are the true interests of humanity and, what’s stopping us?

Foundationally wrong, religion nurtures self doubt. You are not “worthy to loosen his shoe” and but a vile sinner from birth, but ONLY through belief in Him? Without god you are nothing? I completely disagree. That is not the path my friends. The human being is quite possibly the most versatile and creative creature of all time. Misguided in this phase of belief, but by unbelief can “put away childish things” such as faith in a god that has yet to meet its objectives.

Man has proven quite capable, even dragging along the dead weight we’ve accomplished great things. Imagine if we all embraced discovery? Imagine if we truly loved our neighbor and collaborated in an honest reality? We are quite capable of taking care of ourselves. Man has proven quite resilient with his teaspoon of dust and sprinkling of consciousness, in spite of the extra baggage. We have the capacity to unite and become incredible, but it will never come by way of religious belief. They had their shot.

Knowing the un-Knowable

How Pride in pretending sustains belief

Of all the gods that ever lived in the minds of men that have come and gone, the one with the most staying power never even showed up. The others—ousted by the unknown god that doesn’t do anything, can’t be approached, proven, described nor touched. Even our own imaginations that created him cannot imagine his omnipotence, for anything we can imagine or explain, he must be bigger, staying above the fray of explanations way—for the sake of the profession it must remain this way.

Curious sky—NE Washington

In Acts 17, Paul hits a masterful homerun on the first swing: “Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you”

So thus it is—Paul begins the religion of contradiction with a contradiction. He claims to know the god that can’t be known, condemns superstition by introducing the most blatant superstition in known history. They took the bait! Hook, line, and sinker and have poisoned lowered the minds of humanity to prideful pretending. They know something they readily admit they don’t know—“God is naught but in the minds and yearnings of insecurity”. But to pretend to know what can’t be known, certainly has a tidy little smugness about it, doesn’t it (wink)

Monotheistic Gaze

For over a thousand years of majority beliefs, Christianity has the world at a standstill. How long should we wait for the “truth” to achieve its objectives? The world is in a trance; unable to see past the focal seizure of belief. Neptune’s Dolphin used the term “monotheistic gaze”, but reminded me how unproductive daydreaming can be. Living in the past, hoping the future ends—if only we get the chance to watch the sinners burn...sigh

Imagine for a moment the promises of eternal life at the foot of a capricious master of cruelty—disconjugate gaze comes to mind as we try to imagine (then the common eye-roll) what to do for billions of eons while we worship in bliss—or else!

Do you trust a god that has already “repented” (changed his mind) about his creations. Did he not tire of men’s ability to ignore his demands and drown all but eight? Is this the same god that, after only one day of his time, just said “to hell with it”, and hit the reset button? Are you sure he won’t get bored with the whole “worship thing”—something he couldn’t possible need as an omnipotent being, nor want if he was a good one?

Someone that can curse his own child for not offering a blood sacrifice and burnt meat of his own creation, doesn’t get my vote.

“They tell us it is our sins that force Him to punish us. I will answer that God, according to yourselves, is not immutable, because the sins of men compel him to change his conduct in regard to them. Can a being who is sometimes irritated and sometimes appeased, be constantly the same?” —Jean Messlier

Other things that cause the gaze:

  • Honoring attempted child sacrifice
  • Circumcision as a covenant (male genital mutilation)
  • Stories of virgin birth
  • Burning and killing animals to please their creator

But, keep believing and you’ll get acclimated to the idea.

Contradiction—Enduring Faith

Less belief equals more objectivity

In a nutshell, the less you believe in Christianity, the more likely you are able to understand it. The ability to handwave and justify contradictions is erased by unbelief. That is a big plus towards a firmer reality. We’re not talking one or two contradictions, but a massive patchwork—it’s thematic

In pharmacology there are statistically not eight prescription medicines you can take without drug interaction—basically at that point, taking medication to treat side effects of medication.

Christianity’s circuitous contradictions are so frequent, they now use contradictions to explain the contradictions.

Only through unbelief can we see that this is the great mystery of the kingdom—how does he get us to do that?

This is exactly what happens when you concoct a story without thinking it through. It may sound convincing at first, but as we peel back the layers they have to add another. Today we have no other institution on earth so grand where built-in redundancy is another million volumes of contradictory explanations—per year!

Evolving From Belief Mode

How belief seems to be a default of insecurity

So, if I am skeptical by nature and don’t believe, but agree to believe by choice, would god then judge me for being a liar? If one simply does not believe the story, but agrees for the sake of community, family, income, for the children, isn’t that dismissal of personal integrity a sin?

Can one truly decide to believe, or in my current case, I only now can decide to pretend to believe? Deciding to believe is a choice, which makes it pretending mixed with hope—that lacks integrity.

It seems as though we are destined to believe, as distasteful and destructive as it is to the current form of humanity. Even those that leave Christianity generally adapt another belief of some kind. Everyone wants a belief. To me, at this point that just seems weird (maybe I’m weird) but I believe nothing. There is no progress in a modern, overpopulated world for these uberdeveloped thought convictions, backed by stubborn, tribal pride, which is ultimately just strong belief in faith.

The antithesis of what the scripture supposedly intends, but draws out the man in a course few can correct.

If I had to choose at this point, some primal form of worship would be my choice.

Morality—Appearing Better

Becoming better through appearances

“A man that firmly believes that God sees everything, knows everything, is everywhere, will, when he is alone commit actions which he never would do in the presence of the meanest of mortals (or the general public). Those even who claim to be the most firmly convinced of the existence of God act every instance as if they did not believe anything about it. There is scarcely a man that does not fear more what he sees than what he does not see—the judgments of men”—Jean Messlier

More powerful than any idea of an all seeing god, men check themselves because of what others will think—even will claim to believe in god for the same reason. No fear of an unseen deity has kept man restrained when he is alone or away from those that know him. That sense of obligation is morality by genuine nature, nurture, and neurology.

Morality among mankind is nothing more than consensus and personal autonomy within a framework of what all persons are collectively willing to tolerate.

Religious doctrine is nothing short of a few, trying to force compliance allowing religious authority to have a higher level of autonomy. And like politicians, they are above the laws they administer for god.

Christian morality is discussed as simple wordplay for recognition—all talk, then go about your business with approval—he’s a believer!

It takes special training to reach that level of hypocrisy.

WTF?

The Splendor of Belief—

After a hard day of dodging tough questions—circle the wagons. Defying integrity demands it!

Faith leads to this. I cannot sum it up any better than to direct you to the secret comments between believers about faith—do not deny! HERE

The comments are particularly good. Gods chosen are judge and jury. Of course they have relinquished there own moral autonomy and know longer no better.

Wandering—Chapter 15

Decidin’ which way to go doesn’t really matter when you’re just lookin’ around—Frank

But finding your way home when you weren’t lookin’ may be a bigger challenge. I was wondering if Chloe had just lost her bearings during the chase. Who knows, but hope is in the drivers seat when that’s all you’ve got. Or worse yet, she caught up to whatever she was chasin’ and got killed.

The next day was depressing. We had a schedule to keep and a semi on the road to load cows out from Bazzoli field. There were only two that had to go, the rest could be randoms—it was slow going without the dog. It had been a full day and a half since I’d seen her… More HERE

The Compromise—Panpsychism /panˈsīˌkizəm/

“And the earth was without form and void”—a better reading

Life—amalgamating with matter which “was without form and void“—Genesis 1:2. Void of what? Simply without form and without the void. Containing no defined area imbued by life to perpetuate, but animation itself (energy) creates a void between the nucleus and the shell when it permeates matter, enlarging it by millions with a seemingly empty space—expansion, and all kinetic energy wrapped up in galactic collision.

When life happened upon this pale blue dot, or collided with this insignificant speck in a deluge of massive energy, the globe that we know today was without space for life. Without the consciousness of energy, it sat billions of years since last contact—about the size of a basketball in truly space-less matter—containing no life, but by perfect cataclysm aligned with a star. With energy, wave functions, invisible quantum fields, quarks and gluons, fantastically create, then occupy what we perceive as space, expanding them a million times their inert, lifeless size.

Dinosaurs, once tiny specimens of slightly larger flecks of dust before the earth enlarged its area thorough never-ending chains of cosmic collisions, emerged again in their re-birth as expanded fossil-forms to thousands of times their prior size as the power came on for this generation of conscious energy, expanding to life in the void, for life makes space—and a lot of it (by comparison sake) creating a void between the nucleus and shell, massless electrons fill the space by being everywhere simultaneously as pure energy. Prior to this moment, all the fossil fuels on earth would contain in a thimble.

By removing the empty space, the atoms that make a complete human are the size of a small, minute dust particle, with all of current humanity fitting into an area of a common sugar cube.

The rapid expansion and evolution of species when life infiltrates non-life, gradually stabilizes. Environments peak and yaw, decline and drive evolution and migration. During times of calm these changes are slow and hard to see, but what might happen in a lifetime years ago, now takes millennia.

Earlier, un-eradicated men knew of these energies that infiltrate organic and inorganic life, including the rivers and mountains, considered themselves part of the system we have been forged to forget. By being “civilized” we have lost intuition with the connective forces that sustain us.

Is it a coincidence that the sun encompasses 99.86% of all the visible matter in the solar system, while we (and the other planets) get a trickle that amounts to the matter we possess? That the tiny ray that dissipates this direction contains and maintains the energy that is life and sustains it, earth, and that our very bodies thrive because of shared elements of the stars? We capture a mere fraction (1/billionth) of her emissions.

The atoms that make us, from the calcium in our bones to the iron in our blood, brewed in the heart of an exploding star billions of years ago, and now nurtured by her distant cousin with a mere trickle of energy. Just enough to be, and to simultaneously maintain.

The Conibo people of the Peruvian Amazon, when asked how they knew which varieties of plants to use for what purposes, answered simply, “the plants speak to us. This exchange of informations takes place at a primitive level. Attuned simply to the frequencies and vibrations of the earth and its secrets—secrets that are now considered quackery, sorcery, witchcraft, and second class to modern medicine, shamanism.

These deeply connected people knew “to be“, was to be in touch with their natural environment, sharing electrons and transferring data with every thing that came in their path. The secrets of life are found in our bare skin and the souls of our tightly bound feet. But we now live in a world of barriers.

pan·psy·chism
/panˈsīˌkizəm = pan/all, psychism/consciousness—all is conscious
  1. the doctrine of evidence that everything material, however small, has an element of individual consciousness.

We are vastly made of empty space (filled with energy) 99.999% of the human body is a relative illusion of shared energy—same as the rocks, the rivers, and the trees. All as alive in their own element as the next. Finding your roots in the asphalt, concrete, and barriers to nature is a modern challenge—finding those roots is to find the meaning.

It may not be very sophisticated in this day and age to reverence the sun or the earth—but try life without them. Panpsychism is 99.999% more likely to be accurate, than to postulate a god we have no evidence of.

While apologists continue the debate over the word “was” in Genesis 1:2, again we see that science and the shaman produce the answers to their void, which is truly empty of reason or evidence.

“Was” in the Hebrew is a great attempt at hairsplitting scripture to try and align with scientific evidence that the earth is very old.

HERE is an example of the past 3000 years (really) of trying to determine what “was”, was.

    Finding your groove

Years ago when I was a True Believer © (AD, DDa, AWOB), I purchased a piece of property for farming. It was 20 acres below the high-line canal and approved for flood irrigation. It had a swale in the middle sloping down a bit to one side and had to be leveled. Three or four days on a tractor and a laser—or embarrassingly, maybe I could just hold up my hand and command it in the name of Jesus!

    —It didn’t work.

After a few days of dozing I came to my senses—I didn’t believe hard enough…God was testing my faith.

It is said that all churches which are founded in error and imposter will come to a shameful end. But if Jesus Christ intends to say that he has established a society of followers who will not fall either into vice or error, these words are absolutely false, as there is in Christendom no church, no society, and no sect which is not full of errors and vices viruses [sic] especially the Roman church though it claims to be the purest and the holiest of all. It was born into error, and even now is so full of delusions which are contrary to the intentions, sentiments, and doctrine of its founder (Paul, P-peter) Because it has contrary to his intention, abolished the laws of the Jews of which he approved and which he came himself and said to fulfill them, not to destroy. It has fallen into the errors of idolatry of paganism, as seen by the idolatrous worship which is offered to its god of death (and child abuse)

And nobody’s is moving any mountains.

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them—Mark 11:23

I didn’t doubt it, or I wouldn’t have done it. —Enter Explanations

Every Christian thinks the other are doing it wrong. In this I agree.

    Irritating for Jesus

Being persecuted for your beliefs doesn’t make you a martyr, nor does it prove you right. It does, however, prove you irritating.

Dying for religion doesn’t make it true. It only proves is your fanaticism was stronger than your love of life.

They tell us that the truth of religion is beyond worldly reason. Do you not admit then, that these truths are not made for reasonable beings? To pretend that reason can deceive us, is to say the truth can be false, that usefulness can be injurious. Is reason anything else but the knowledge of the useful and the true?

Besides, as we have but reason and our senses (such as they are) to lead us in this life, to claim that reason is an unsafe guide and that our senses are deceivers, is to tell us that our errors are necessary, that our ignorance is invincible, and without extreme injustice, God cannot punish us for having followed the only guides which he desired to give us—Jean Messlier, Testament

Then go on to pretend intelligence is a gift from god. The same god that is immaterial but created material. The same god that is immutable and alone, where his laws do not apply because he is apart of any society. The same god that lets his most irritating effective servants die without lifting a single finger to come to their aid.

“And that’s why it was such a brilliant idea from prophet Mohammad (and from the Bible) to explicitly describe the religion as the absolute last word from God that would never get any future amendments of any kind. It was the first to say it was the last, and and it worked pretty well by taking their immunity against listening to others and learning form them to a whole new level” Haritha

By abandoning your reason and senses, you can believe anything. Depending on where you were born, of course.

    My road less traveled.

    Assuming the Supernatural is Real

Preparing to rejoin the source energy—

I’ve contacted a highly recommended shaman guide that can enter the realms, speak to the “teachers, masters and guides” to open the archives of the souls of the universe. Most people ask the lords of the records “what is my purpose” or what is the meaning of this existence? Everybody on earth has a spiritual clan and a guide (teacher) that can be approached by those here who are attuned to those frequencies.

I don’t really feel a need to find purpose. In fact I have really no spiritual, purpose inklings at all. But since I learned I have been recycled, re-purposed, and have been on this similar journey for many cycles to enhance my real life after this one, I am intrigued what it all means. What then, should I ask the Akashic Records of the knowledge of my soul? I need some ideas. I was told I can’t ask “when” questions as they will not be answered. That leaves how, what, why, and where, which I think is sufficient. What could I ask, or what would you ask for the betterment of mankind if you had a few minutes to peek into our final destination to find or focus on a higher purpose?

    Where We Go From Here

If this life were part of a series of reincarnated experiences, why would it matter at all in mankind’s search for purpose if we can’t remember them from one existence to the next? Where does it all go when you’re dead and buried? In the next 85-90 years another entirely new crop of humans will populate the earth, while nearly 8 billion purported “meanings” and “purposes” of life are lucky to be remembered after 1 generation.

From my former religiously stained fingers—death is the great escape into peace. Not by living again, but by offering exactly the same “freedom from care” that we experienced before we were born. What was lost—peace, is once again found only to be unknown—again.

We have risen to life, now against the odds of inevitable aging and death we hope to carry on, realizing some form or potential. Would we settle to be a meadow of wild grass or a meandering brook, only to prolong any semblance of physical experience? All this searching for meaning over a brief flicker from past lives feign to recall (or sleep paralysis) or merely an active, imaginative brain inventing?

The desire to live forever is a notion implanted—a wishful potential of an ideal—yet death will reunite us to our past”.

Certainly there are things I enjoy now—things that I would miss, while others disdain—if I were aware to see it.

Such is the audacity of man, that he hath learned to counterfeit nature, yea, and is so bold as to challenge her in her work”—Pliny the Elder

All of these experiences seem a little futile if you can’t remember them when in the physical realms where they are useful to us. If reincarnation were real, what good is finding out purpose in this life if we don’t remember it coming or going?

Is it so hard to live in the present? Are we just hamster-wheeling for nought?

    Being First—More Powerful than Right

How you can be first and biggest and still be wrong. A new morality is at the door.

You know those brands that becomes a household name, even when using the competitions product? Ziplock, Saran Wrap, LEGO’s, and Jell-o come to mind. Proprietary eponyms eventually fade into genericide, losing there luster in sales, but the names live on. Being first is powerful. Staking claims on territory is much the same. Whoever plants their flag first, it can take hundreds of years to get just a slice in return.

    Enter religion.

Staking a claim on morality, religion has branded itself as the authoritative source on it. There are better versions available, but morality is synonymous with god and religion. Why? Because they said so—and they have the biggest brand. I need some acetylsalicylic acid—Asprin™️.

But, after unbelief we see morality is a natural phenomenon and find our groove pretty easily. This strivation for balance, homeostasis, civil society, and equilibrium is as natural as cause and effect and our ability to process consequences. We like fairness and we’ll give it to get it—just like other animals.

It’s no secret that a friendlier and more inclusive moral construct is possible, but then the next big lie too has been repeated ad nauseum—and that that, would be too difficult. Not so fast my religious friends. We could work out a rough draft over coffee if it weren’t for the beliefs. Those naggy little seeds that hijacked universal decency and divided us.

We really should do something about this. If the biggest is going to dominate the rules, Islamic morality is just a few years away. Two factions, both wrong, competing to force ideas on the world—and control you and me by legislating them. When that happens, humanism won’t look so bad, will it? Just Google™️ it—on your search engines.

Believing in Faith vs Practicing Beliefs

How labeling faith more accurately may reduce the strength of religious conceit—

Religious believers of every fashion you can imagine cover the globe in a philosophical, often self-satisfied smugness—that the believer actually knows something. I would prefer they start using the term, “embracing ideas”, since the stigma associated with the words “faith”, or “belief” connotes too much religious autocracy. Having a personal relationship with a supernatural god you can’t comprehend, see, touch, even imagine, also just sounds so…crazy. Ok? But I hear it’s worth it…only later.

Embracing a good idea, relieves one of the burden of delusional psychopathy, may actually calm personal nerves, reduce anxieties, defeat self depreciation, and promote good behavior. Regardless of this new trend (as of now) faith and belief are terms that should be absorbed back into the cosmos, stricken from the record.

That’s an idea I can embrace, espouse, grasp, and hold on to—without faith hijacking the conversation with a damaging, self-imported debasement that is no longer useful. Belief is not an honorable trait, nor is faith worthy of accolades. It’s simply a decision, a conviction of thought in one’s own weakness to believe in something that is not around to help.

    Black Market Religion

How religious exemption has saved countless abuses.

The founding fathers of the USA really didn’t blow it when they gave religion exempt status. Just think how valuable dangerous religion would be if it was taxed or illegal. As it stands it’s less valuable than a black market baby, lung, or kidney.

Up the ante, Washington! Illegalize religion, then like a good abortion law, the doctors preachers will have to go into hiding to practice in private where it ought to be—at a premium, of course, and a dangerous one. Imagine the atrocities against women and children if religion were forced to be private? By allowing religion to operate openly has saved countless abuses.

On another note—Washington State just passed a bill to allow human corpses to be composted (true) Just imagine the meal time conversations—”These onions taste like Harry.” Humans are pretty good at growing food—now they can taste like it too.

    Love my back yard!

    Creation—Making Sense by Probability

“In an infinite universe, if there is even the slightest chance that something will happen, like the development of life from non-living materials, it not only will, it must. It’s simply the laws of probability at work“—Grouchy Farmer

Taking the shortcut “god”, is lazy economics. In the easy-way of zero effort we were taught that god created the universe. A god that we could only not see, but not even comprehend. It fails the simplest test of reason—it’s a feeling, imposed upon us for lack of a trying effort to think for yourself. A better answer (in an age where little was understood about the physical world) would have been “I don’t know”, god made a little sense—Enter reason

“Searching for god, we don’t discover who he is, we discover who we are”—

Just kidding. We don’t find who we are unless the search is a completely personal, expert-free search. Listening to the religious professionals, we adopt their beliefs and sort out our own equilibrium with their ideas. That is not us, but a conglomeration. In some cases you may need to journey their path—only to later realize you don’t need them. We are so easily influenced (as evidenced by mass belief) the only person you can trust is yourself—by your own observations and meditations.

After a lifetime of drawing your sources from a poisoned well, well, it takes a conscious effort to set such preconceptions aside for a time and admit to yourself this—You may very well be wrong about every single thing you think you know. Hitting the reset button takes courage and most of all, true humility. The fact is, 99% of what you think is yours, are the ideas and opinions of others. Who would you be without that?

I finally have a belief—that one curious soul can quietly see the world and in their own way and add a striking point of interesting realism to this puzzle we call life. It just takes a step back from the coercive opinions to find it. Not from the “experts” but through our own observations.

Sounds of A Raindrop—Evidence or Imagination

How any evidence of god is a preconditioned supposition

My blanket lay at the edge of the edge of the beach, right where the sand turns to sparse grass—and the clouds, a high and milky white mess on a hazy blue background.

The forecast called 40% chance of rain today, but nothing looked imminent. I closed my eyes and the world around me started to dissolve. My senses heightened in their fading and hearing beyond the crowd to the surf, the waves blended into a monologue of eternal, blissful siesta.

A distant dog-bark echoed my direction long away through a gentle breeze. A pre-dreamy, drowsy calm invaded my physical being and time seemed a stand still—then it happened—I heard it. Like a bullet parsing through time-frozen air molecules, a shwooshing sound with the grace of a high-speed zipper in slow motion. Then, it hit me—a single rain drop on the inside of my forearm.

Wetting my stratum corneum, somatic receptors fire a signal through a thousand miles of road-map nerves at light speed, landing in my well mapped sensory cortex, eliciting a preconditioned response from an altogether, other part of my brain, the frontal cortex (which is unique to humans) Aah, god is good (from the memory banks of indoctrination—our belief)

Beliefs originate from what we hear – and keep on hearing from others, ever since we were childrenIndian Journal of Medicine

I have no evidence it rained that day, but I felt it, I know it. The news said there was no precipitation, but I know—I even heard it gently censure me from near slumber.

This is exactly the evidence for god—because it was trained and ingrained. Did it rain and did I hear the drop coming, or in my hypnogogic, near-sleep state, did I dream it? My first response is proof something is off—I don’t even believe what still lingers from all those years, but like habits are—in the neurons like a ping-back from a children’s blog you quit enabling many years ago.

Contemplating Existence—The Why is in Asking

How to benefit from recognizing fundamental problems of human nature—The first flaws

The human mind is easily misdirected and manipulated. The simple question has now been hammered into a science—the number one tool of the salesman, psychoanalysts, politicos, and religiosos. Merely asking a question puts the asker in control of the conversation—and the human brain can’t help but go there.

Questions trigger a reflex in humans known as “instinctive elaboration,” that is when someone asks you a question, the question takes over the brain’s thought process and you feel compelled to answer—and make it a good one.

The meaning of life is undiscovered to this day, but it all started long ago by three unanswered questions

    • Why we are here?
    • Where did we come from?
    • Where are we going?
  • After millenniums of daydreaming answers on existence, now we are forced to answer “what if”—what if I’m wrong about what you’ve imagined to be so?
  • Here is my question; Are you certain your feelings, that combination of hormones, insecurities, bias, influences, hope, and consciousness—evidence of a god? Or is it simply evidence of an ever changing and susceptible mess of neurons, chemicals reactions, and underdeveloped controls?

When our brain thinks about the answer to a question, it can’t contemplate anything else” (1)

We can generally think of only one thing at a time, while our limited ability’s and myopic mental focus practically force us to contemplate simply because of the suggestion—or the question. “Do you believe in god” has been a question that has lingered at the forefront throughout my lifetime and a thousand generations before. Why no, I don’t believe in an imagination what has puzzled even the best minds in history. A question that deserves no answer, but is an irresistible consideration nonetheless, because it was asked.

With all that is known about our psychological discrepancies and deficiencies, do you think it would be wise to proceed with caution before believing anything without evidence. Any of it? Why should I believe anything at all without it?

What makes one so sure that the potpourri of impressions and feelings about every aspect of life is a god, considering all of his presence and “feelings” and your own intuitions can be duplicated in any laboratory study, even with outright lies? How do you know it’s god, not the neurons and hormones deceiving yourself—with yourself, practically by the force of the question? Isn’t it far more reasonable that the idea of a god is just as unreasonable? The ultimate force in the universe is not a god—it is the almighty question. And that is far more interesting than settling for a thought. There are no answers. That, is evidence I can live with.

The End of Religion—How Long the Free-fall?

The collapse has come and gone. “He” never came back, but hope and pride won’t fess up to the fact—so the ever extending goal posts. Christianity is so far removed from its roots it can’t even dig one up. Buried in a wash of now speculative jargon, still looking for what was an obvious, imminent prediction forever prolonged under the hubris of hopeful generations. Is it that hard to admit they were wrong? Fooled? Maybe read too much in to it? It’s fundamental precepts have dissipated into the stratosphere—of longing. Reveling in what might have been, the big promise of the hero’s return is just too tempting to let go.

We are now in a world where belief has no utility. No ritual, no improvements, but only words masking the wishful’s true behavior. Every believer is on the same diverge in the yellow wood, following the road most traveled by and marked in the sod like an old wagon trail, seeking an ideal that brings peace and eternal life—a promise that no man can resist.

Islam is the last hope, where they still have the stomach to do things that no man cares for—kill things to appease God.

Western man has now turned to machines to do their killing, far removed from that distaste the moment they have the opportunity. Barely even able to kill their own food while those that do often ritualize it and thank their god for the life they’ve taken. Religions have moved on from blood sacrifice to the sacrifice of personal growth—for no greater purpose than self deprecation.

The goalposts have shifted and stretched from generation to generation. The failed prophecies have been too numerous to measure, but hey, who really cares? That, would be some kind of evidence. The beginning of the end—again.

Like balking a-top the high dive, it’s time for bungee-jeesus to come down from the cross.

Can we really and truly believe, or can we only decide to pretend to believe. Deciding to believe a non-ordinary, supernatural delusion is a choice, which makes it a charade of pretense mixed with hope.

    Control Through Confusion—

Words you need to know to lingo with the “New Theists”

Maintaining the flock has never before been so muddled. It used to be as easy as swordplay and torture. Now that there are laws against that tactic (and the internet) so the leadership has resorted to volumes of big worded, incoherent rambling confusion. Who but the professional preacher has the time to sift through it all? Never mind that, they can tell you what it all means.

Victor Hugo writes in the Hunchback of Notre Dame, “the priest were in fear because they thought the printing press would replace the pulpit”—people could now read their own bible. But, as Jean Meslier so astutely pointed out, “not only should the Bible have been withheld from the commoner, it should’ve been withheld from the priest as well”.

The only way to hang on to the few threads they have left is to keep it confusing with forty thousand sects making up their own versions with a million volumes of commentary—per year.

They muddy the waters to make it seem deep”Fredrick Nietzsche

Here is a list of Starter Words you need to know to be Christian these days; after all, being ecclesiastical takes practice, for simplicity in the gospel is for everyone.

    • Ontology
    • Epistemology
    • Dystheism—personal favorite
    • Ecumenical
    • Existential
    • Misotheism
    • Eschatology
    • Asceticism
    • Emanationism
    • Epigenesis
    • Maltheism—God of the Bible

No longer do you need to know thee, and thou art—but you have to be versed at a scholarly level to keep up with “The New Theists” and their codespeak, then remember the old as well—words like imagination, pretending, and circuitous. But this will suffice for a brief introduction, if ye are willing.

I do have a question—can we decide to believe, or can we only decide to pretend to believe. Deciding to believe is a choice, which makes it a charade of pretense mixed with hope. After all, the proof is in the pondering, or so I’m told.

If we have to choose belief with (or over) reason, that is nothing more than pretending.

    Improvements I’d Like to See

    1. Faith insurance. As part of a nationwide tithing settlement, a portion of every donation would fund mental health counseling and current believer vertigo
    2. Graduation from church. Mandatory time limits for your church to meet its objectives. A good church would cut you loose but they depend on your tuition to ruin you
    3. Get out of religion free cards. More or less a monthly hall pass to get your bearings
    4. Tithing refunds—For those of us that saw it for what it is—and isn’t. We want our money back!
    5. Reparations to deconverts funded by a tax on religion
    6. Post traumatic religious syndrome: federal recognition that the duping you received caused you trauma.
    7. 4D vision-proof glasses. For looking beyond the veil to see there isn’t one.
    8. Religious Life-lock for identity reconstruction. Find yourself again on the church’s dime.
    9. Prophet sharing [sic] on religious revenue. Every good investment gives revenue sharing and dividends. Religion isn’t one of them.
    10. Warning signs on chapels and a two verse limit. Religion served on the premises, no children allowed.
    11. Minimum age limit (21) for baptism or any contractual membership.
    12. Embarrassment—that goes with the territory when the charade is over—sorry, only time will heal your chagrin

More religious overreaching to remove freewill

My Daughter came home from high school today ready to fight! Anti-Abortion laws are religious laws and have no place in state constitutions. However, 20 states are attempting to pass ridiculous “heartbeat laws.” Georgia and Ohio’s just passed theirs. Ohio’s new law prohibits rape and incest victims from having an abortion. In Georgia, having a miscarriage could result in an investigation. Is this really true? Or reasonable?

Ohio governor Mike DeWine signed the state’s Human Rights Protection Act, which bans abortions as soon as doctors can detect a heartbeat—about six weeks. A law that protects 1/2 of the parties involved, one of which is not yet alive.

The fact that many women do not yet know they’re pregnant is irrelevant to the good governor. Actually, that’s part of the plan—ignorance is embedded in the design of the legislation.

Also from the religious right of contradictions; isn’t it odd how financial and pro-life conservatives generally don’t support government assistance to mothers that can’t afford children, yet do everything in their power to make sure they have the baby anyway. Born baby born! What happens after that is if no concern.

    Fear Play—

How we trade in our insecurities for bigger ones

A healthy amount of fear is normal. Skepticism allows us to make our way in the world without being suckered, while religion attempts to alleviate those fears, then ersatz the trivial everyday with existential death anxiety—not terribly afraid to die, but afraid of what will happen after you do—and a fear of separating from loved ones you never knew before life happened.

On advisement we relax and let Jesus take the wheel, then fear is directed at our performance and we’ve taken the bait. We all have fears—which ones, seem to make all the difference finding personal peace.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom“—Luke 12:23 KJV

Have I got a deal for you! Do you want to see my puppy? I have ice cream—any flavor you want—like the taste of hell… Even as a believer this made me a little squirmy, but few seem to be able resist it.

I was having a conversation the other day and the gentleman said, “we get the most out of religion when we allow our faith to be vulnerable“—in a sense, letting down your guard in belief.

Allowing your faith to be vulnerable is like lowering your expectations to be happier. After all, getting a C- when you were expecting a D can give a lot of hope, but it doesn’t take us anywhere meaningful. I know, I grew up being suckered.

So how does one go about deciding the right amount of vulnerability? It can be comforting to be a part of a flock full of deception you can trust—until you no longer think like they do.

Christianity—Holding on to the past while hoping the future ends—until it’s their future.

    Why should I fear death?
If I am, then death is not.
If Death is, then I am not.
Why should I fear that which can only exist when I do not?”

    Epicurus, letter to Menoeceus

    Evolution—From Hunter/Gatherer to Fat

A critique on religion and sedentary living

Our food is now served on a plate with very little caloric effort on our part (and we wonder how we got so fat) We love the gadgets and endless, idle entertainment while unavoidably hanging on to a genetic past that doesn’t mix well with this sedentary way of life.

Obesity and diabetes (among others) are epidemics. Our bodies have not changed over the last 300 years to keep pace with endless sugar and foreign foods filled to the brim with calories—while Americans sit. Sit for work, sit for play, sit for worship, and sit to travel—proudly sharing a Fitbit status for simply moving of what used to be normal behavior. The hardest part of a normal day may be opening packages.

Religion too, is now served on a plate and we just ingest it with no effort about it. We’re spiritually flat, out of tune with nature and gather our info from big-box, turn-key religious experts or their break-offs.

If any of it were reality and you believe your Bible, there is not one true believer on planet earth. For “greater signs than these follow them that believe“—Jesus. No matter how much you say you believe, you really don’t.

What of life used to be an adventure for each new child, an exploration of the world before us, is now doled-out cookie-cutter style epidemic spiritual and physical sedation from birth to death, with our own intuitive, individual attuning suppressed or hereticized by those same religions that offer nothing but hope. No results, no growth, no bliss, while pretending to be happy in this way of life until it kills us.

The promised enlightenment now tips scales on stagnation and stress from endlessly pretending to be happy. But really, pharmaceutical stats don’t lie. The most religious segments of the country are on the most prescription. Quite possibly the most unhealthy, longest living, over-medicated society in the history of the world. Happy, happy, happy. Have Xanax—and a soda.

Trust In You, Ye Prisoners of Doubt

Deciding to agree to believe—Betraying your senses

The world is full of people who have stopped listening to themselves—Joseph Campbell

For many years I felt like I was just supposed to trust those that said they knew what they were talking about. I was a prisoner of doubt—accepting another’s belief over my own ability. What’s really crazy about that—it was never even my own belief, but the beliefs that others believe others believed. I trusted people to be truthful. That is a sin worthy of cursing.

Cursed be the man that trusteth in man—Jeremiah 17:5

From whom do we get the stories? Yep! God is a no show.

What’s even crazier about that is what we decided to believe was all written about a desert nomad thousands of years ago (a myth) It really is something to put so much credence in the very old tale, while we ignore our own present abilities to serve the genes of a goat herder.

I now have no religious beliefs and the vast majority of the people in the world don’t have their own either. I don’t believe in god, but they don’t believe their own story either—but that of another. Who but a few animists, spiritualists, and atheists actually listen to themselves and tune into the world around them right here, right now?

Hope puts believers at enmity with the inevitables of life and the placebo is hope that someone else will change it for them”.

The way to insure a life of faith is to sacrifice your integrity for hope. So, it boils down to faith without evidence is the most exciting story, then spending the rest of your life defending that hope with an argument.

    Critiquing Faith—Understanding the Blowback

How atheism insults religious imagination—an affront on hope.

Three very important things to remember when scrutinizing faith.

First of all it confronts the validity of hope which triggers an adrenergic response. It can certainly be startling when faced with the fact no god is coming to the rescue. “Wait, I’m on my own here?” No worries mate, you’ve been living life on your own the whole time (with a little help from your friends) Nothing is going to change only you don’t have to wait around talking to yourself to see if a prayer was answered. You’ve done ok so far, but holding that much power can be frightening at first. But, you’ll get used to controlling you own path.

Second, criticizing a belief is a trigger warning to resist temptations to even consider alternatives—for god (friends and family) is measuring your devotion at that very moment. Considering better-than-belief alternatives you might fall into sin, or regress to your old self and return to your own vomit (Proverbs 26:11) All those things “god” did for you won’t come undone. Relax. No need for knee-jerking. Its called moving on—maturing through faith.

Thirdly, you directly insult imagination. Humans have terrific imaginations—religion is a great way to kill time when your brainpower exceeds opportunity, activity, or motivation. But don’t be fooled—just a nudge in the right direction and bang! You can express this runaway imagination through achievement.

Our imaginations make up a huge portion of who we are, or think we can become. A personal affront to imagination is a direct insult worthy of stoning and death. It even has a name—blasphemy.

Blasphemy—a: the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God

b: the act of claiming the attributes of a deity for man to imagine that he was divine could only be viewed as blasphemy.
“Suggesting you have the ability to chart your own path puts those in power in an awkward position to justify their own arrogance”. This is a most heinous sin. It’s treason, really.
And fourth but not least, reducing self-deprecation as a worthless sinner isn’t putting you in dangerous territory, but it may release how good you can really be without having to put your own foot on your own neck in the name of belief.

A good thing to remember—arguing with faith is debating reason against physiology. Through repetition the neurons are hardwired and the inability to connect the dots and to embrace contradiction is now a physical phenomenon.

Agenda Driven Faith—Why Hide the Good Stuff?

How revealing the true name of god leads to truth

Since the earliest days of the Bible, many controversial aspects of faith have been buried in the annuls of omissions? Wouldn’t that be a great book? But that wouldn’t make us feel good. Book of Omissions (BOOM) 1:1—Know ye not that these sayings of old contradict and dismay the user? For with what is promised is never delivered, but pray always in compassion, for peace never shall come by way of faith.

Verse 2—According to the gospel of truth, “Know ye not the key to the kingdom of heaven is like unto this illustration authorized by its creator”?

With its abundance we have no need to concern, but when lacking it’s pleasures will seek out liars and easily fall prey by those who effortlessly and continually seek this organic chemical compound themselves—and know ways to find it.

The name of god has been in dispute for quite some time (but by popularity the English translation version is the most correct) but reality speaks a different language. The name of god is actually the catecholamine C8H11NO2—or dopamine for short. Oh, there are lesser gods; Oxytocin, Serotonin, and Norepinephrine, but these triune gods work incessantly in unity with the big boss to make sure you go to heaven—or at least occasionally visit it.

Our own hormones have been the self-source of conversion for millions. When that fails, the tip of a sword has proven just as effective. At least for the holder.

    Thoughts I Think

Live simply and beautifully. Find a groove being yourself before regret settles into mediocrity—

Be content exploring the natural world in respectful ways—

Be curious, but not a fool. The majority of the world believes in an invisible guardian and have applied the quirky perceptions of human neurology and endocrinology to meaning something it doesn’t—

Investigate the world with this knowledge—you have been deceived since birth by susceptible people who are easily impressed upon and ruled by those hormones and quirky neurology. They attach easily to bad ideas you’ll fight for and defend—

The attempts to accumulate many things gives you no right to pollute my breathing space or my water—

Nurture a little bit of beauty in the community. Plant something. Be a friend—

Disconnect from others once in a while to nurture at least one idea of your own observations—

Eat less, wear less, and work less. Feel the bare earth under your feet—

Respite somewhere off the beaten path along a babbling stream, or deep in the woods near a meadow—

Nothing is certain. The difference between your birthday and deathday is a dash—

    Maturing in Faith

How we must allow pretending and self-delusion to win over logic and reality—just believe

America’s True-Christian submits to lasting faith, line upon crooked, twisted line. Precepts that turn, juke and spin until acclimation settles in to accepting his eastern religion merry go round as the one true faith. He is now a foreigner in his own mind estranged from reality, celebrating human sacrifice over the unblemished ram. It all makes perfect sense.

The trouble spots he noticed along the path burrow deep in the back of his mind, ignoring to recall. Like a smoldering trash fire he saw on the news years ago, occasional flames are fanned but retreat to smolder under the help of reason (ah, the explanations) the same reason surrendered at the door of faith.

Like eyes blindfolded at night—unable to see the light of day, he hopefully presses on to find the meaning of it all. At daybreak the blindfold tightens under a mask beguiling self. Light tries, creaks in, but now it is only a disciplined annoyance distracting briefly from the human needs to be herd—and find meaning he never knew he lost until it was so astutely pointed out.

Has he ever the courage to risk all his effort and walk away? Rarely, although he wants to. But he has found solace pretending to believe. Pretending to get it. Pretending this faith matters—then do and behave however he wants? That is the true Christian—following the example of the Bible god.

The reality is there are no true believers. Each has his own market cornered on his own brand of delusion. Reasoning their own judgement away one must construct just the right wording to find any possible way it could make perfect sense. Acquiescence

Atheism is the manifestation of integrity. Or should I say, accepting your atheism is the foundation integrity. Saying out loud what everyone already knows.

Having enough courage to say what is rightfully so, we have now matured in the faith. The red words of the Bible have trained us up to be men of honor in all areas but one. And we are now supposed to dishonor truth by pretending. I don’t believe there is a god, but we can do it for the kids.

Without Religion There Would be Less Sin, not More.

How ethics surpasses the morality of religion

  • Reverse psychology is a tool for the young and feeble minded? Not really. It works well on nearly everyone (do you want to go to hell) “Don’t do this, and don’t do that, do what they tell you to, don’t want the devil to come out out your eyes”—Roger Hodgson Religion makes me think the founders just wanted to get their freak-on by making everything a sin, creating even greater allure. “We value people and things unavailable to us—things we can’t have”.
  • “Lord give me chastity—but not today—Saint Augustine

In order for god to pursue the maximum pleasure by proxy of things he cannot have, forbidding a natural occurrence produces miles of pay-dirt for his viewing pleasure—it increases the things he observes. And he watches everything—things he cannot touch or experience in this vile world.

Want to populate a world with eight billion people to revel in the ensuing madness? Forbid a natural act, keep it taboo to even talk about—and control it. Christianity has not produced any moral behavior. It produces cunning behavior and shortens the joys of life by regiment—but in fact produces more mischievousness and anxiety.

Without the institutions of religious and legal marriage there would be less broken homes, not more. Contracts make people feel fidgety and confined, often taking for granted the contracted companion. There would be less people and more personal responsibility, less mystery and more fact—equals stability. Religion has thrown a wrench in the natural flow of life—it’s brand of morality has made an interesting lure making waiting to live as you wish contrary to commandment, instead of a personal responsibility.

“Atheism does not constitute an end in itself, but a beginning, a necessary base, an ethical foundation“—Jean Meslier

Christianity doesn’t produce better behavior. I’d say a little less talk and a lot more action, but the end game is the destruction of the world. It’s an odd wish, clinging to the past and Hopi g the future ends. There is no amount of belief that will save them from hypocrisy. It will take the joy out of life. A life that passes you by waiting til regret plant it’s ass on your doorstep.

I’ve had countless encounters with believers stating I just don’t believe so I won’t feel guilty for sinning. The fact is, most of the things that were intriguing lost their curious luster after losing faith. It ain’t no big deal.

    Was There Ever Nothing?

Creating out of nothing while god roamed with nowhere to go

Assuming for the moment that there was never nothing as the simplest and obvious contemplation of existence. If there was ever nothing (creatio ex nihilo) there was also no god to form the universe due to this non-existence of any thing. The writers formed the the verse out of thin air. Contemplating the implementation of subservience from origins to birth to death—through our own faith.

If there never was nothing, have I always been something? If the universe is indeed a brute fact, always in existence in some form or another, so too, have I always been, in some form or another—and always will be, in some form or another.

Will my consciousness remain part of my identity, attached to my own sentience, if it ever was to begin—or end with? I think so.

Nice little find from our hike on the mountain today.

    The Nucleus Accumbens

How challenging the addict produces argument and deception through the sympathetic nervous system

Neuroscience is continuing its advances and testing-down the exclusivity of religious convictions (feelings) and their purported source—god is losing his grip—the cat is climbing out of the bag.

Based on fMRI scans, the researchers found that powerful spiritual feelings were reproducibly associated with activation in the nucleus accumbens, a critical brain region for processing reward.

Spirituality can be reproduced in the laboratory or academic study. An interesting note—when a challenge threatens the belief, you then endanger the source of the addiction—And the source of the religious addiction lies in your own neurons and endocrine system. Threaten any addict, sit back and hear the excuses, the lies, and the deceit. The threat in this addiction also stimulates the fight or flight—adrenaline—hence the argument—in the face of facts.

Interestingly I can reproduce the same neurological affects of religion with medication, sex, lies, meditation, junk food—and the spirit of god, of course. It’s no wonder endocrine and in-doctrine , are so similar

This article HERE has some additional insights.

It is so clear that our minds are easily manipulated by an array of influence. Best be careful out there—awareness and acceptance of these facts is a push towards reality.

    Thought Convictions—We Believe

After the epiphany of complete unbelief the doctrine lingers against your will.

Parroting religious commentaries as a expression of faith is matter of lazy economics—what would you do or think if nobody told you what you believe? “We believe” is the easy road well traveled.

Fostering the thoughts of other believers “we believe” in the attempt to justify the harmful outcomes of the gospel message, biblical immorality and contradictions of scripture is a cheap attachment to faith—the easy-economy of thought transfer to a faith that was inculcated by the same source that details what “we”, the group believes.

We believe what you truly know of faith can only come from your own observations, not lifting quotes and cleverly worded circuitism from the concept of religion from those that have a vested interest in your belief. The true measure of faith can only be viewed through a lens of unbelief—the third party observer. To an unbeliever it’s quite obvious the whole setup is a scam. Tis a fact. Not from the group mantra of “we believe”, but inspite of your indoctrination can you openly measure the worth of an idea—and in spite of your groups stimulated dopaminergic machinations.

We believe one can’t simultaneously believe the wordy coercions of others and objectively evaluate who god is, or even who they really are. At that point we believe you have effectively allowed the persuasion of others to hijack the person you will now never come to know outside the influence of the herd. The same herd that will betray you the moment you desist believing the way they do.

What you or anyone else decides we believe, doesn’t change it into a truth. Mimicking popular sayings and catchy phrases should actually be a trigger warning your mind has been hijacked.

Challenging ones belief stimulates their fight or flight, solely for the arguments sake is belief defended. It has no substance but a hope. Challenging someone’s hope puts fear and adrenaline in overdrive.

Belief is not even that important to mankind, but it cannot be helped. Many hate the fact they are tied to it.

Even after the onset of unbelief the doctrine lingers against your will.

I attended seminary four years so someone could teach me what to believe—then I became the teacher, letting other young minds know what they believe.

They were all as I, in it to win it for the parents sake, for their lack of faith and their constant prayers that a child might believe what they believe. That weirdness all seems like a lifetime ago.

    Revising Revisions—Ontology or Aesthetics

How finding the perfect wording is everything to religion

Pastor Mel was quite pleased with himself. He finally figured out a way to word his ontological quest into a way he can accept and shout how he now gets it—this is what it all means.

“We were the perpetrators of a heinous crime against God by unjustly killing the innocent Son of His love. WE were the ones with the angry murderous hearts, saying “Crucify Him!”

“To summarize, in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ we see God’s restorative justice beautifully on display”.

“First, God heals, forgives, and restores the perpetrator—us

For twenty years he had it all wrong. Isn’t this post high euphoria just going to be the biggest hangover ever? Now what? Where does he go from here?

“O Happy Day! What a glorious Day!”—Mel Wild

Out Take on The Paris Fire—

After careful examination arson suspects Jesus, Mary, and Jabba The Hut are wanted for questioning. Jabba hasn’t been seen since the 80s, Jesus never, and Mary? Virgins are hard to come by. Judge for yourself. Believers believe.

The last time Jesus was clearly seen was in a piece of toast. I see a pattern.

    Atheism, Humanism, Sciencism—Just Another Religion?

As catastrophic events unfold millions of prayers dissipate into the stratosphere—and nothing. Absence of evidence is evidence of absence. It is not proof of absence, but in the spirit [sic] of consistency one would automatically conclude there is no God, just as you would conclude after seeking flaming elephorned jackals for 5000 years in Kentucky—or South Africa. Never seeing a non duplicatable unseen claim is plenty of evidence of non existence—unless of course there is an explainer close by.

If my atheism is a belief as I’ve been accused, is science too a belief system? I would effectively have two, no three belief systems. My atheism is not based on science, nor is my humanism based on atheism or science.

If religiosos are insistent that I believe (science you know, requires more faith than worshipping deities) then is ethics too, a belief system—and reason? Oh for gods sake!™️ I have five belief systems!

We have evidence of many things that are not true—

Consider a game of chance—a coin flip. If I flip a coin five times and get heads each time, is that proof the coin is two-headed? Of course not, but if I get heads 500 times I could safely conclude I have a two headed coin, no matter what another may say. Based on experience, 500 heads in a row would be evidence the coin has no tail

If I pray one time and get no answer, is that proof there are no gods answering prayers? Of course not, but if I pray 500 times a year for 40 years? That’s pretty good evidence there are no answers to prayers. How about the entire planet? Gods are either avoiding contact, or just not there. I’ll go with what actual experience tells me.

After 2000 years it is clear—and a million Olly Olly Oxen Frees gives me a million to none odds he’ll stay in hiding—or perhaps gods are myths. Or perhaps the catastrophe has a hidden meaning.

Grading On The Curve—Tests From God

Atheism clearly shows we are frequently tempted beyond what we can bear.

“But God is faithful; He will not suffer you to be tempted beyond that which ye are able to bear, but with the temptation will also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it—1Cor 10:13 KJV

Imagine yourself surviving in Auschwitz while your family was maimed during experimental medical butchery. After losing your faith in a god that never answered your plea, you are now judged worthy of eternal hell and torment.

Johnny good-boy however, kept his faith. Raised in the confines of a religious community in the 50s and 60s of middle America, has earned a gold star for his enduring faith—even calling to Jesus on his deathbed. What a good boy he was. But, not so fast. Even that is no ticket to heaven—only if he was chosen. Even in our best moments the gospel is a gospel of wondering self-doubt.

Meanwhile in the Sudan and Burundi…people are being lovingly schooled on starvation, disease, and political corruption—lessons they need to test their faith. If they only had heard the blessed word of god, only then can they be saved. But not now—for now they must suffer.

“God has shown through atheism thosetested” by his non-participation in crimes against humanity for his own will and pleasure, that many, many people are tested beyond what they can bear” No answer is not an answer to be analyzed.

Enter Atheism—Unbelief is truly evidence of errant scripture. God (the writers) have proven time and again their god cannot be trusted to come to your aid or answer a prayer. Like any other relationship based on trust, two or three—then shame on me. Give faith one chance one time in your time of need and see where that gets you and be done with it. Even if god were real he has not proven dependable. Perhaps there isn’t one? Perhaps…

    Things That Live Too Long

How careful wording and watered-down history is a key to lasting faith.

The sheer advantage of brainpower and our longer than average lifespan has come at a cost—we are a complicated and sickly species fighting uphill from the time we are born until the time we die.

It’s a long life to carry these untoward genetics but, there are a few things I would trade for a shorter life span—for shorter is sometimes better.

Nursing home stays, waiting rooms, and sermons all could all easily be shorter. It is nice to know how long you’ve got sometimes so you can do other things in the mean time. Religious honesty would be nice too—shorter lies, maybe?

“The scriptures teach emphatically that we must give milk before meat. The Lord made it very clear that some things are to be taught selectively. There is a temptation for the writer or the teacher of Church history to want to tell everything, whether it is worthy or faith promoting or not—Some things that are true are not very useful“—Boyd K Packer, LDS Apostle (could be any religioso) Like the Father like the Son.

It is clear throughout Christendom that avoiding solid truth, the whole truth, is absolutely necessary to ease one into the faith. In other words, lies. Lies of careful wording and lies of omission—all necessary to nurture (bait) one into solid belief. That is milk before meat!

It doesn’t take a miracle to come to Jesus—it takes careful and selective wording. I won’t be waiting til after I’m dead to get out of this line. Religion is one thing that has lived far too long, living abundantly on the fears and foibles of human nature. Not easy to recover 50 years of waiting, but I’m catching up.

    A Good Verse

With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who have been made in God’s likeness. James 3:9

This could be a scripture about jealousy, but it’s not favored that way among believers. If you want to know the best part about being a god, look to those who the writers curse. The nature of those most like god—it is those that make their own ideas and choose for themselves how they will live, then live well beyond the framing limits of religious obedience.

We are despised for charting our own path. We are despised for plucking off the fruit of knowledge. Dogmas are meant to service those that rely on others for guidance and inspiration. This is quite offensive to James who believed everyone should have to have their brain sucked out through intangible thought convictions—through faith and submission.

    Faith or Pride—Why Not Both?

How Christianity has condemned pride to seal our faith—using pride.

—Faith is actually an enhanced form of pride, then strengthened by forced humility we subjugate ourselves with untold endurance.

The strongest of faith cannot endure in us once we know truth. Faith however, cannot exist with the slightest amount of proof. It is imperative there is no proof. Here’s how it works.

The mere micrograms of norepinephrine released into the brain when confronted about belief gives mankind a stubborn physiological response—one that overreacts on belief, not fact, over trust, not inquiry. If you’ve ever dealt with indigenous tribalism, you understand this historical point—to challenge their belief is an affront to them as a person.

The truth is, faith cannot be dismantled because there is no evidence. It seems odd, but finding a truth, an artifact, a corroboration of the life of Jesus, Moses, or Abraham would actually begin to break the spell of faith, not the other way around.

It was necessary to present a complete and total whitewash in characters, place-names, events—all of it, in order to manipulate mankind into the total type of faith that is a byproduct of faulty human physiology. Presenting any religious fact would diminish the strength of complete and total obeisance—held by pride but repackaged into a virtue—faith.

Another grand contradiction of the Bible is to beware us of pride, then manipulate our psyche into displaying the most arrogant, defensive pride of all—faith. Think about that.

A great archeological find by near-eastern researchers would be the beginning of the end for faith. They won’t find it, and the founders knew it. It’s a gem of a trick on the crazy neurology and hormones of the human mind—Ontology solved. This is what the founders intended.

    Mothballs, WPPSS and Giza—Religious Models

How religion is a constant reminder of our failures as a species.

Anyone from the Pacific Northwest that has a few years under their belt may remember WPPSS, or as it came to be known—Whoops. The Washington Public Power Supply System, but whats in a name, right? Foresight?

The cooling towers at Satsop still remain, void of any generating equipment or reactors. The budget swelled to over $25B (1970 money, $163B today) and with the three mile island accident eventually sealing the waining public opinion, the project was mothballed.

At 460 feet tall (same as Giza) they are a reminder for miles around of bad ideas and how difficult it is to get rid of them. Not to mention bonds that were to be repaid with future revenue that defaulted. Lots of redesigns “in process” and contractors bilking the system by “business with government as usual” faith Giza is a reminder how hard it is to get rid of a bad idea that has the churches support.

    Enter religion—

Talking about energy and actually delivering it are quite different at best. Promises to bring power to the region with others money (tithing tax free), Christianity has yet to deliver the promised results (that comes much later) Redesigned components multiple times “in progress”, the perfect idea is the worlds boondoggle and become too unsafe to continue. So much time and thought invested, such visions and reactions promised to them that believe, but waaiitt!!

What we’ve built is an eyesore. You get used to it (or numb) after a while, but these towers are part of my life now. I can’t remember them not being there. Even though the name has changed to Northwest Energy (rebranding) how quickly people forget the origins. Why? To keep their sanity which allows duplicating the hoax again and again even more successful due to the coping mechanisms of human survival.

—Forget because you have to, remember because you need

And it’ll be there another 5000 years unless someone dismantles it—but the name will survive through rebranding.

    Expecting Miracles—Living With Disappointments

How the greatest miracle of all will will be our own doing—

Tears and years of toil and prayer ended today as no help arrived. The lifeless and sunburned body of a man—who had prayed often and watched the horizon daily for a rescue, lay in the sand.

The others had left a year ago. They built a wicky-boat and sailed away, now living in Patagonia with jobs and nightlife. Waiting for rescue is a chancy business. While now the world waits in overuse for the second coming to renew the earth, wipe out unbelievers and sinful saints, the earth spins in turmoil. We can do something about it. There is no reason to wait but greed and insecurity. No one is coming to the rescue—it is up to us…This entire exercise of faith and waiting has issued license to havoc our natural resources and consume the very thing that gives us life. The Ouroboros will be our legacy. Not as a symbol of infinity, but of self destruction.

    Ruminating on Belief—

How long until humanity can transcend beyond belief mode?

Belief holds only a temporary benefit until a premise has been proven, not a goal in itself—when do we move on?

Understanding your human nature is an important key to resisting the patterns that sustain anchoring bias—that deep tendency to adhere to the first information acquired on any given subject. Ruminating that first morsel—a lifetime of informational cud chewing. How hard is it to change what you’ve been taught in ignorance of the subject, then believed? It takes a miracle, but let’s face it, in those first moments of exposure we’re all ignorant—and gullible to the authority, whether it be parents, professors, or pastors.

Then comes the backfire effect, a near universal, automatic reaction to repudiating evidence of your mere faith, which strengthens your beliefs in spite of better solutions—digging in, protecting those little nuggets wrapped up in your skull when new ideas or evidence is counter to what you believe. Norepinephrine is released in the brain when facts are presented counter to what we believe, creating a fight or flight (or stubbornness) to adopt new information. Religions grow from this stubbornness of human hormones and hardwiring.

Take Darwin for example; He himself was attuned to this phenomenon and lamented his discovery, struggling to procede openly with the Origin of Species because of the effect it would have on everything and everyone he knew—very aware that the reception his evidence would bring a fight.

No matter the spiritual belief, people take great comfort in what they already understand—even if it is a garbled mess to everyone else. Replaying their same old themes—reruns that are familiar and predictable. In today’s world we have to adapt quickly to keep up with technology, processes, and the devices. But belief is a special carrot, hampering progress with archaic, inerrant faith—the comfort zone, the one tool of the devil that keeps you enslaved to your biggest weakness—that overburdened ability to believe what you are initially told, even when it’s obvious it isn’t true.

Just believe. Convincing your mental self by answering your own prayers (you know that talking to yourself thing where you reason away your own mind) and making excuses for the writers inadequacies and failed promises.

Give up and let god? That is the literal example of human damnation—Abrahamic religions ability to stop the flow of actual growth and progress through mandated belief (then we defend it out of hormonal response).

Our perceptions are much more faulty than accurate. It’s no wonder the majority of the world believes something that can’t be seen, measured, or heard—craving that super hero to comfort their struggles—simply because they were told one exists and we are obligated to say yes to a fault.

Faith is pretending not to trust your poor judgement—which is using your own poor judgement to allow someone else to chose your path for you. Understanding your physiology is the key to moving on.

    Abortion is Biblically Moral

How abortion is ordained by god.

God ordains the governments of nations (especially here in the USA) God instructs us to follow the laws of the land and to render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s.

Romans 13:1 “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities; for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God.

So when the government passes a law it is ordained of god and we have no fundamental right to fight that law on religious grounds—It is our duty to comply. We clearly have the government god selected. They have clearly and repeatedly said Trump is gods guy. That made Obama gods guy. Nixon and the Supreme Court of his time ruled, in a 7-2 decision, that a woman’s right to choose an abortion was protected by the privacy rights guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S.—which came from Gods anointed and appointed. He is in control.

Legal abortion is a god-ordained law of the land—Jesus Christ!

    Dissuading Consciousness

How the primer of life is sick and it’s showing.

Faith has no bearing on if we endure as a species, but it does have an impact on if we don’t. Belief is an arrogant default, distorted, misdirected void of reality, deceptive and skewed observations in favor of overreaching abundance and waste—this latest brand of hominids imagine great and unprovable things.

Somewhere in our past a neuron misaligned or is being used in an untoward affect—a synesthesia or other genetic misfortune hooked to ego and fear, then egotistic salvation and false-worth bred complacency—no one is coming to rescue us.

Unless a change is made the earth will one day be void of the chatter of men, void of human beauty and love—millennia’s of blank pages to be rediscovered in our fossil record by the next batch to rise aboriginal in the resilient and resurgent pools of DNA—life.

Consciousness transudes (1) from the living earth and directs DNA to build hospitable, organic environments driven by various levels of its potential—each one mapping out a resemblance to its capacity. Once an entity is no longer hospitable, the consciousness must leave the organism and death of that body occurs (this is easily observed). Equilibrium and the collage of consciousness recycles itself again and again, often shelved for myriads of time, dissipated into the atmosphere and elements—stored until conditions for organic life are met. Genetic epidemics like autism, cancer, and diabetes bear this out when skewed conscious determination maps a new life into forming with polluted potential.

Now the earth is overflowing with inhabitants struggling over a fixed amount of consciousness, with the dominant energies depleting the earth of its nature—not in its danger, but inflicting ourselves within this delicate, yet massive earth that will once again absorb its most acumen (2) nature shortly after our own bodies are no longer a suitable host to carry its potential—as we change our environment to become inhospitable to life, it will take millions of years to restore the balance for the rise of the next species.

While searching for the meaning of life outside of ourselves has been futile for thousands of years (and worth abandoning) through every rise and fall of hominids, one thing observable is true—the physical earth perpetuates and nurtures lifecycles—but only within a specific balance. We are sickly and getting worse. Is that any wonder?

Phylogeny tells us many lines have existed before. Human-like remains from the late Miocene period and the Pliocene era (7.5 and 5.3 million years ago) are not likely our ancestors, but different lines of hominid civilizations that appeared and disappeared, materializing at different places and times all over the globe—then gone. We too will be fossilized then followed by a resurgent, autonomic force that eminates from this unique speck in the galaxy. With some care we can make this ride last as long as we want—or not. Sapiens 2.0 may get the opportunity sooner than later.

    (1) Transudes—to pass through a membrane or permeable substance

    (2) Acumen—ability to reason, keenness, depth of perception, discernment, or discrimination especially in practical matters.

    Reading Atheism

How reading the experts falls short of your own observations

I should probably read an atheist Bible. Being a Twain fan I intentionally read “Letters from the Earth” (thanks Mak and Mary) and have since amassed a small collection based on many of your recommendations. But, like any top-notch Christian who has not read his scripture, I claim full hypocrisy. I ably became a complete non-believer without reading the text.

This exercise from belief to atheism had to be my own. From the beginning I steered away from the publications, videos, only reading a few blogs and having discussions with everyday Christians and “common atheists”, science articles, psychology, and google scholar—and by strict observation of the outcomes of faith vs the teachings. Turned out it was easier than I expected. There is no objective measurement that agrees with religions versions—on anything.

How is it possible to become an atheist without reading the material? How could one have the audacity to break ranks with the masses and see the contra-everything in its entirety? Atheism is natural when you don’t have someone breathing down your neck telling you what it all means.

It’s nice to read the commentary (that’s what most believers do) but by carefully listening to what we are told and comparing it to outcomes—what we see in real life, atheism is a shoe-in. It turns out the god charade is well funded, propped up by laws and defended by the sword. Who but a religion could commit genocides and have its followers defend them? Not just a few missteps when it comes to reality, but every single point. Jots and tittles are important enough to be mentioned in the Bible—so they must be important and investigating them should dissuade anyone from believing anything at all.

God is incomprehensible but they just know he exists 😵 (justify that one) merciful, just, moral, righteous, perfect, and so on, are presupposed propagandas that any good PR man can repeat enough times pull the wool while their guy is just an everyday oppressor.

Look at what good PR did for Mother Theresa. She’s a claim to fame but never funneled her money to the poor. Instead she jet-set and collected $millions and members to the Catholic Church. That is the true measure of sainthood—not what she actually did to alleviate suffering, which was nothing—but what she said.

What you say virtuously is vastly more important than what you do. Professing faith is the golden ticket to public acceptance while living life by your own rules anyway.

Any religious belief, no matter how silly, is more respected than unbelief. This is enough to know the game is rigged.

Faith—Allowing Chance to Rule Over You

How waiting has already past its prime.

Procrastination pays off when it comes to finding a church. Finally the years roll by and life is good. Those in the churches find it hard to believe happiness could come so fluidly without faith—but it does.

Belief in your own abilities can produce astounding results, while faith in deities—the perpetual waiting game, the continued respite from reality in hopes for enlightenment and good fortune ends right where you started—imagining.

    Ode to another—

    Faithfully following one

    Fruitless endeavor—

How long shall we wait to to find the desired results before just moving on? Even Dr Seuss new better.

You’ll get so confused that you’ll start in to race, down long wiggled roads at a break-necking pace, and bring on for miles across weirdish wild space, headed I fear to a most useless place—the waiting place”—Oh the places you’ll go—

You’d think after thousands years that common sense would say enough—but the search goes on…the wait continues. There’s nothing to find.

Each of us, whether religious or not, creates outer own meaningful life—or not. If your happiness revolves around a belief that had millennia’s to iron some answers but has only created more questions—have at it.

Wait around another 5000 years if you like, but I think it’s time for a change. “How long do we give religion to fulfill its premises? Shall we wait, allowing chance to rule over us, or take control into our own capable hands?

    When Life is Discovered

How beings on other planets would already know about Jesus.

If we discover another planet hospitable to humans, would it be likely they would have evolved the same as us? If Jesus (the creator of the universe) made all the worlds and inhabitants in his image, surely they will have known of his death on the cross.

Besides, the sacrifice for sin is eternal and would encompass all his creations. No inner-planetary missionaries would be needed for they will already have the WORD. If they do worship other gods, I wonder whose god will kick butt over the other. I’m sure it will be the ones with the highest level of revealed advances designed with the sharpest steel, the farthest bullets, and the best bombs. The god with the best guns will be THE GOD—same as always.

Imagine if they are a bit primitive how much success we could have preaching to those poor burdened souls that have never heard of Jesus. We could make them super happy—like us—and the Muslims of course. Sharing our economic models would be a real treat for them too.

Truth about God—Yes, Even That One

The answer to the mystery is a malfunction in human cognition

It doesn’t take a lifetime to figure this out. I got into this quest about two years ago and part-time have easily disproved any semblance of god, backed by the best reproducible research and study—then easily answered the hardest questions by mere observance. From all the available research and laboratories around the world—and from mere reason, there is no god or gods.

We have a problem with perception—purely bias, easily indoctrinated, deceived from the time we can breath, then required by command by people who lie to us to trust, have faith, just hang in there. For what? What has it produced but deeper conjecture and division? How long does religion deserve to prove its objectives?

Mans search to solve what are actually the quirks of neurology and perception has spent over 100 generations seeking truth since the Jesus myth, and who-knows how long before that. Impressions, dopaminergic rewards and other hormonal responses have been neatly illusive to comprehend. The fact is we are easily fooled, easily persuaded, easily gathered, and by belief in another plane of omnipotent existence we have divided humanity into groups.

The red writing in the Bible is right about one thing—faith has power. The power to overlook obvious contradiction, lies, truths, and through belief the “men of words” of the world have controlled nations—and we’ve paid them to do it.

The reality is that ever-changing neurologies and circumstance is hard to pin down. Everyone sees something different, even in the physical sense, let alone from the corner of their eye in a darkened environment—or a church hall. Humanity is unstable. Faith is too easily rewarded as shown by mans desires to believe in anything at all. Believing gets you the good-boy award for doing what can’t be helped by our physiology. If there is a god he’s laughing his ass off at his fuck-up. Life is to be lived people. There are no secrets. There are no mysteries of heaven or god. 10,000 years of the best minds have found nothing—not a damn thing! And who thinks that finally now we will find what we’ve been taught to search for, that no one else has ever found?

In the end everyone decides what kind of god they are willing to accept. Fundamentalism is pure whack job—the smug call that orthodoxy while the rest (even the normal believer) see real religion as a cancer. Water it down and at least it’s tolerable—barely.

Having the Need to Believe—Breaking the Faith Trap

How religions are only true for those with emotional needs, and those who dispense it.

Religion—only valid for those with emotional/physical needs and of course, those who desire status and dispense it. But for people normally adjusted and naturally content—the confident, it holds no truth at all. Need itself makes religion real, then, obligation perpetuates it long after confidence is restored by the group and belief refrains its senses. Those who need it cannot understand how a meaningful life can exist without it. Them that seek out religion due to overwhelming cultural pressure but don’t need it, continue to search from church to church, finally finding their way in the fringes of belief in their own, underwhelming way. It can be uncomfortable for a species expected to believe in something—to not believe in anything at all. Humans generally will believe nearly anything, so belief of any kind is more culturally acceptable than non-belief.

Christianity is now adamant is has the answers to life’s questions—questions they readily admit they have no answer for. Now relegated to god-opting scientific claims and ultimatums with no proof—but convinced we must join with them to have wisdom from a god they cannot know nor comprehend.

Christianity’s use of the endocrine system to manipulate feelings along with the subtle nuances of human neurology, perception, and need—into an almighty god whose opiums for the masses conjures naivety. The organizations that offer you hope dispenses the drug. Addiction is now propagated by a meaningless entity, no longer relevant to the whole.

How much time do we honor belief—the mere agreeance to an unfounded idea? How long shall faith be revered and cultivated as a quality, celebrating ignorance by claiming mere belief as sacred?

You are the meaning. Holding on to purpose through religion only leaves you conceited with a surety that shortchanges discovery. Your true escape from the doldrum of life naturally comes by way of accomplishment. Accomplishment that is thwarted in reliving the ills of perpetual worthlessness week after week, year after year. We have the ability to create a more meaningful existence than anyone can do for us. But those confronted with poor conditions of existence look for anything transcendent to make lives worthwhile.

Now the religion that gave people hope in their once hopeless situation has become a generational crutch, self serving its own existence in spite of the fact that it’s people have moved on.

The unproven idea of a savior is truly relegated to a set of neurons and thought. No physical change has been made, but thought is the key—and the proof that the power is generated—then manifest in and by you.

An honest religion would counsel you to leave it behind when it’s objective is met, empowering you to live your own meaningful existence on your terms. Religion is only true until you’ve found your worth and no longer need it, but they would never admit that.

Commanding the Elements—Thy Will Be Done

How invoking the name of Jesus only upsets the lottery on weather.

What manner of man is this that even the wind and the seas obey him? Matthew 8:27

    A lucky one

Commanding tornados in the name of Jesus gets attention year after year. But, is commanding the weather a miracle, or just timing—and luck? (bad luck for the recipients of such commands).

Anyone that watches the weather can see two things; there’s a calm before the storm then, just when things are plum mad-dog mean as they can get—it quits. While truthfully there is a third option as well. We can all attest that no one recorded the miracle that day, nor were any of the writers present. It’s a story.

Things aren’t always what they seem, even after they seem like it.

Storms come and go, rivers crest, then fall—for all shit rolls downhill right until the miraculous moment it hits the bottom. All bleeding eventually stops and with enough people guessing, commanding in Jesus name someone is bound to be right.

    Take two.

A month ago Ark was chastised and Jesus name was invoked—proving this miraculous promise. In his name ya know, believers can cast out devils. Here’s an excerpt—

I am speaking not to you but the spirit of the anti-Christ living inside of you and I command it to leave in the name of the resurrected Jesus Christ…But its all up to you to accept.

So, which is it, Jesus name or freewill? The fact is no signs follow them that believe. No devils are cast out, no seas are calmed by the faithful—hence all the shipwrecks in the history of sailing. Every single one had the prayers of the faithful muffled out by the sound of drowning. It either works or it doesn’t. Ark would be a Bible totin’ believer now, if it were true.

How egotistical for one to believe that god will alter the laws of nature and physics to satisfy self preservation. No life is more important than another, except the one living it, of course.

Raising the dead and casting our demons is relegated now to science and pharmacology. Signs truly follow them that study medicine, physiology, and resuscitation techniques. There are no true believers© on planet earth. Either the preterist are right, or no signs follow them that believe—ever.

An Enemy to God—The Natural Man

How the natural man is actually embedded in belief.

Being judged and sentenced by believers of god for a passive decision—a process of random inputs, neurons, billions of synapses interacting, perceptions weighed, likes and dislikes and cultural influence considered, simply for not believing a story—merely thoughts.

After having to process this information against my own choice, the ticket has popped out unbelief. What can I do to change that? What should be done to appease the masses…conform to become a natural man—gullible, trusting, yielding, herd instinctive, and fearful since birth? The desire to belong clouds judgement while the powerfully placed men of words and their yes-men apply pressure to consider the supernatural—by coercion.

A natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised—1 Corinthians 2:14-15

Au contraire! A neat trick of religion and the biblicants is defining terms to suit their purpose. The natural man is actually the believing man as evidenced in the obvious. Everyone wants a belief. Since birth we are lied to, fearized, pressured, goaded—and though living in a society of liars we believe nearly everything that we are persuaded to believe. That, is the natural man. Either the believer is the enemy of god as the Bible says, or the Bible has decriminalized our natural tendencies and labeled the unnatural, independent-minded as the enemy. I am not the natural man. Having eyes that have opened through a struggle of librarial pursuit and observation, followed by the unpleasant task of unbelief, integrity will not undo this fact.

The strongest faith can’t protect us once we know the truth. Protection comes through conformity and abandoning honest virtue—integrity comes at a price. We now sit on the fringes of society writing anonymous blogs. Natural man? I’ll leave that to the churches where it’s modern version originated.

Made In The Image Of God

Let me break this to you all gently as “god” (authors of the Bible) tips their hand in the very first chapter. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”… Genesis 1:26

“In the day that God created man, He made him in His own likeness”. Genesis 5:1

It has been repeated ad nauseum that we do not look like him for he is incomprehensible and unimaginable. So what likely is the correlation between man and god? What is his image and likeness?—Behavior—the capacity to be horrible. But by quite the anomaly some of his creatures refuse to do his bidding. To some, the chaos, division, and brutality doesn’t bode well so a few now and then break away and call our own shots to find a peaceful calm, leaving guilt, hate, division, and the killing of everything behind.

Deprecating his subjects as evil is bad form in human upbringing. Children raised in such punitive fashion, the ridicule, the threats and name-calling, struggle to find self worth and peace the rest of their days, then continue the cycle initiated by “god” who continues to shift his morality to keep up with the demands of man—at least the mankind that knows better. We are doing better. And as we struggle to break free from the tyranny, shaking the hive, so to speak, has angered the apologists to the point of ridiculous wordplay to protect their Nero.

With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness. James 3:9 He too blesses himself and curses us if we don’t act like him. God curses us, his servants curse us. Man has proved difficult with his occasional inclination to be kind, to do good, to be accepting of others, which comes to full fruition after leaving the system of religious tyranny we became accustomed to protect.

Does it anger him that we have broken away from the system he created and refuse to contribute to the misery? It certainly angers his servants. If this life were actually a test, the test would be to see if man had the integrity to break away from an obviously immoral system that produces everything evil—all while calling it good.

“To those who believe in God I say, seek not in institutions, books or theological arguments to find God: look at your species and how it interacts with others and with its environment. There is the mind of God in action”—Sha’Tara

Man has created a bible to guide us in continuation of miserable human nature of the time, projecting its own ways on the “god figure” as a progenote of authority, but it is us who have adopted this monstrosity we call god because that is who most of “us” are.

Man’s indoctrinated presupposition that the Bible is good, is the only reason one could consider it good. Its resulting bloodbath and genocidal rage has been inflicted on the world for generations—in the writers name. And the author who despises us, is in our own image and likeness.

    Tokens for Faith—The Carnelian

Would a Christian be willing to test his own faith with the same methods they dismiss other superstition?

Beset the shifting, sliding darkness my seer-stone has been polished smooth by the friction of my cotton-lined pocket—and the relentless downward stroke of my thumb. She has traveled the years of my world idly doing her fortuitous task, tirelessly emitting it’s magical energies to guide—to protect and strengthen me. All the proof needed? I am still here, alive against many odds. It’s a miracle in true aggregate. The once rough, slightly chiseled edges are now smooth and pearly soft as it has molded me all these years to gradually be its equal—and solid.

    Find a quiet stream-

    Resting nicely on its banks-

    Casting woes and stones- ©

While skimming rocks across the deep current one stone must always remain—partnered in my right pocket never to take flight. It alone guards me with a curious protection and wisdom only known to those who understand such things. My belief is proof, trued to me and secured these 50+ years—The carnelian, a mixture of silicas, chalcedony, and impurities of iron oxide combine to protect me from negative energies of the universe and give me power. In spite if its bloody tone it allows me to see things. My thoughts and ideas I credit to her, for out of nowhere they arise without explanation.

Fearing the day I feel to find it missing—frisking for its whereabouts will be a day of anxiety, tragedy, and despair swiftly leading to my misfortune (it’s happened, believe me) Although life has dealt me twists and turns of affliction, how much worse might things have been without her? I will carry her to the next world in my ashes.

Today I am home with the winter sun-beam reflecting, blinding, snow-white as my carnelian (or possibly I am hers) recharges in the window sill. Winters are hard to rejuvenate its magic, but as luck would have it, today was a brilliant time to be home. She sits collecting cosmic energies in a metal bucket of sage and lavender, primed by the radiant sun to guide me another day, or week. Then, by the light of the nights full moon, the transference and cleansing completes the cycle. A Full Moon can clear a crystal’s negative energy and recharge the positive energies it holds, with the right intentions, of course. I won’t leave home without it.

—Carnelian crystal represents the hot cauldron of the lower three chakras. It’s associated with taking bold action with its fiery spirit that stimulates the root chakra, helping circulate vital energy to your center, which contains your deepest sexual desires and powerful creative instincts. Whenever you’re called on to perform, carnelian will embolden your abilities.

Is it this belief in things that makes us bold, or a weakness that empowers humans to accept chance as its guide through faith? The evidence in the power of the carnelian (or any other proper mineral) surpasses all modern religious dogma. Esoteric and divining crystals, white magic, oracles, witchcraft, shamanism, reiki—curanderos more valid than the religious options of the day. In reality the power is in ourselves. Believing strength comes through other sources may be easier to accept than self empowerment. That means personal responsibility.

Think about that, while I go consult the bones…

    Mere unBelief—The Most Heinous Sin

How unbelief is a thought, not a physical crime warranting the death penalty.

Simply believe the abstruse and become a trusted member of society. The fact that one does not believe “the story” turns them an immoral criminal with shifting values, no? Worse—simple unbelief is the grossest of moral crimes and self decay.

Meanwhile, belief in something not seen—ever, in prayers answered—never, and confessing allegiance to a cause that has failed its objectives—forever, is the highly honored tradition. Am I missing something here?

Yesterday I realized how wrong I must be when Ryan (Dolphinwrites) stated “to prove a point is not as important as really seeking” This is like warming yourself by thinking about a fire, sunning your mental self from the dungeon of faith by an imagined beach, where thoughts are only valued by belief in ideas that have never grown the body of Christ to fruition—ever!

Each dream of fulfillment dying at the last breath of life never to be realized—consummation zero, with bliss the dying wish of every faithful—but to seek is the important part—and it must be a search within the defined parameters of religion to be of value. How has this become the gold standard of honor? Oh how the easy and absurd has become the respectable, the permissible, where foolish is the pinnacle of promise.

Pick any religious system of any kind—and it is belief that is respected and protected, while evidence be dammed and agendized—with belief nigh unto death erasing the checkered past and offers love and acceptance by the believers themselves, while mere unbelief of the decent is a ripening for hell.

    Delusional Grandeur

How sounding powerful takes the place of substance

Automakers following age old religious models are enhancing the sounds of the engines with the loud performance of speaker noise. VW, BMW, Ford, GM, and others have loudspeakers that roar, making the cars sound more powerful than they really are. The best of these is the Corvette muffler bypass system—that opens a gate when the throttle is mashed, making it sound more ferocious than a Ferrari V8.

    Enter religion—

All bark and no bite is the way of the WORD as generations idle-by in first gear, always looking for more substance that never materializes. The true believer has been left to the wind with a low horsepower belief that cranks out high volumes of excuses and low performance—a gas-guzzler lemon stuck on the road of life, long before the first automobile rolled out of the factory. Are we there yet? Appearance is everything—masters of underperformance and smooth sales talk…what should be their finest hour has become an expected disappointment. The Corvair is Christianity—as Ralph Nader said, “Unsafe at any speed”.

Perceptions In Reality—A Walk on the Beach

Why each person has their own interpretation of spirituality

Competition amongst the gods we imagine leaves an ominous gap in interpretation of existence, nature, and purpose.

Join me along the pier for a quiet mid-week stroll. See the snow-capped mountains in the distance while the gentle waves lap against the pilings. Feel the warmth of the sun washing ashore in a whispering, summery breeze, watching an orca, otter, and bottle-nose dolphin frolicking around a piece of large, weathered driftwood. One might call this a spiritual experience. I may say—god is magnificent; or, the creator certainly knew what he was doing, perhaps, pleased with his creation. We could all agree that together, we saw all those things and experienced them in an emotional, or inspirational way. Beauty is a stimulant that we all appreciate. It stimulates our senses (and hormones) while rendering thoughts of contentment. One thing we would all concede in our discussion is we saw a whale, a dolphin, an otter, and breathtaking scenery.

A discussion might follow; god is great, the master creator, followed by nature is amazing—obviously the god of love made this for us—while the scientist mind may imagine eons of selfish genes, double helixes, cataclysms, and the intricacies of diverse life that evolved from the primordial ooze over millions of centuries in different ecosystems and evolutions.

One of these ideas can be proven.

At once, without warning, the whale thrashes the otter into pieces, shaking it violently, tossing it high above the surf, then swallows it nearly whole.

The excitement stimulates the immediate ecology, and a passing salmon is chomped and swallowed without chewing by the dolphin. Reason would immediately favor the scientist. The religious could then pull-start their apologetic motors whirling about higher purposes, the ways of god are mysterious, or god knows best.

The facts suggest that differing neurologies and experiences create vastly different interpretations and perceptions of everything we view. All of us are different, and that is obvious we create our own belief. Some desire a creator (or succumb to the idea) from their training and influence, then manufacture an ideal that suits their purpose, adding personal touches to make sense of the senseless.

Each congregation has as many beliefs as there are people. Take away the churches, and the same would be true. It is you—not god that has generates purpose. I create my own—the believer inherits purpose through conformity and lives a life of pseudo-reality—by choice. And the evidence that shows how hard it is to escape your past indoctrinations.

    Making Your Way

How walking the path others have written stunts your potential

How do we make sense of the world without a guiding myth like religion?—Alan Watts

—By making our own way, not cut from the cloth of big-box corporate religion or political ideology, where billions get a handful of choices. Evidence of this truth is ever displayed among all Christianity. Everyone chooses what suits them, but in lacking real answers they go, trying to incorporate every single thought into a new god—their real god—themselves. Or, by complete submission (where we find another book) that compels one to enforce many.

We are not born to be decided upon, to be guided upon, to be swayed upon by others interpretations of life’s completeness, especially among the religious who have closed their minds to the endless possibilities of fulfillment. Oft blinded by their narrow view from what might be genuine delight.

Ideology is a poor guide because it’s not your story”—Joseph Campbell

What is the story of life? Where is the deepest meaning and fulfillment? We are alone finding our way among the crowds and impetuous, pushy religiosos that think in their narrow book of parables and horror are the answers for everyone that ever lived. How conceited. How dare they, really.

Mythology is psychology, misread as cosmology, history, and biography.“—Joseph Campbell

    Scientific Points for Religion—The Switch

Consensus between religion and science is happening, but it’s a one way street.

One of the interesting developments of religion is the attachment to scientific theory and advancement to suit their purposes. Evolution being the largest swing in recent memory, but also shoehorning bits and bobs of the Big Bang—calling out “god did it” and the insistence there had to be a first-cause to set it all in motion. It didn’t, and most likely there never was nothing.

Simple reason can point that out better than a god, and if anyone can display the ultimate in proving a negative—prove there was ever nothing… we obviously have these materials in front of us—more than you could ever say about a god. There’s no magicians trick here. The universe is a brute fact. Myth, however, is the true basis of religion, now making scientific claims using secular reasoning.

Even if per chance the world is a 3D simulation, there also then has to be a supreme all righteous omnipotent god at the helm, right? Pure bias is religion staking claims on what they had denied forever. When the curtain is pulled back we would most likely see a fossilized crazy scientist dead in his chair after working himself to the bone trying to fix his experiment that got away. Whatever discoveries man seems to find, religion has god in all his power drip-feeding advances to share his love.

The idea that a god has to be supremely infallible of perfect righteousness is a pipe dream of runaway human imagination. And imagine, is what we do quite well. Simply reading the scriptures shows us through unbelief—their construct of god is a prick—unless you imagine otherwise.

Which brings us to consensus. How many religious points do the atheist agree? None. How many points of science do the religious adopt hijack? Nearly all of them. Its not that hard when you have an actual model that produces results. Creationism Origins is the last puzzle to solve. What then will the believers do with their god? Another claim as part of the masters plan?

    The Modern Lucy—Ancient Survival Manipulated

How our grinding evolution is a lemming for religious purpose

Peering carefully, cautiously behind every corner…slowly, quietly, intently approaching every closet, while maginations hide under every bed—every time, chills of air send pilos erect, pupils dilate, blood pressures rise. Skin sensitivity doubles…with caution…ready to flee, or to fight, only to hide in worry another night. After arranging the room carefully—so no objects come alive in their darkened states, can a moment of peace descend dreary into sleep.

Why is this acute imagery laying in wait, alive beround every corner? Where did all this ritual come from? Survival. Who is it that survived the ages to become us? Where did we arrive to this overdeveloped sense, particularly at night?

It is this inherent caution, this fear, that is easily manipulated by religion. Playing on millions of years of survival instinct, the preacher paints a picture of a loving father figure to protect you from evil. If you can only imagine…just a bit more

Since the industrial revolution and the formation of modern survival, we have leaped beyond our multi-generational evolution. Changes that took 100’s of thousands of years are now shoehorned into a century. The preachers gold is our lumbering evolution. Fear is still a best seller…

    Where Thoughts Come From

Where thoughts originate that direct our investigations

It takes a long time to sound like yourself—Miles Davis (then it may take a year or two to get used to it)—Jimoeba

I have to wonder if any of my own ideas are mine, minds, or an amalgam of the matrix. Here’s where the dividing line emerges between acceptance or rejection of a thought—heavily influenced by religious and politicus “men of words” and passionate believers in belief. How do we break from traditions of old to think for ourselves? By unbelief…

Is an idea mine, or submitting to authority of a majority influence? Was the idea put there by an unknown source, or a known source? As Dan Dennett might say, who has hijacked your mind? Who have you allowed to influence you? Either by passive learning, genuine curiosity, or indoctrination, we acquire information, often through chasing rabbits, but the thoughts we nurture or entertain—initiated often by suggestion from an unknown, is our choice. Where we go from there is up to us.

Trying to go somewhere while focusing on the past, hoping the future ends, leaves religion in a muddle of mediocre progress. It hasn’t gone anywhere, produced any results, or fulfilled its promised bliss—ever. We’re still waiting

Scientific studies of natural history and origins is used to advance the knowledge base, while religion seeks a beginning to justify current and past behavior—then clings to it. All the answers sought by religion have been answered quite nicely. Only by faith—the absence of knowledge, can belief thrive or is considered. The greatest challenge to modern belief is the greatest of all time—to continue faith in the face of fact.

The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask”—Jim Morrison

Your own thoughts often come out of the blue, even if our core is in disagreement with those thoughts. This Psychology Today article offers more to ponder. Who you allow to have voice in your life certainly influences you’re decisions, but also much of religion and racism is based on evolutionary defenses.

Whether an idea is yours or not, one big idea can change the course of humanity. Waiting for god to return to fix our problems is a free pass from acting responsibly now.

    Boobies and Faith Traps—By Concensus

How boobies mimic the post religious world

The history of boobies and sailing have made their way through the ages. The fearlessness of the seafaring booby bird has made it an easy capture, and even inspired the term booby-prize and booby-trap for the unsuspecting pranked.

The history of humanity runs a close parallel, which now brings us to Švejk, the towering idiot of Czech literature who distinguished himself with an odd way of communicating—he agreed with everyone on everything.

Being agreeable doesn’t make one right, but it can make one comfortable—fitting-in can be the most tasteful, tasteless state in the human condition, when your facade makes your inner a fool, but as a survival tool—agreeing is safe. Švejk is part history lesson, part type and shadow of the common Christian—the, backdoor, subtle bully system where agreeableness gets you friends, at least until you don’t.

Here’s the catch: To believe (or at least say you do) is harmonious in today’s actually post-religious world. “I have compelling reasons to believe in god. My parents are deeply committed Christians and would be devastated were I to reject my faith. My wife and children believe in god…abandoning belief would be disruptive, sending my life completely off the rails”—Karl Giberson

There you have the root of modern belief. We know better…all of us do, but the status quo and the stigma of unbelief can be too great to contemplate—even though we know the stigmas are inaccurate. Believers are boobies—easily trapped and continuously fooled by their own choice. Because it pacifies. It’s easy, and it’s comfortable.
