What is Spiritual and Why it’s Not

How humans assign greater importance to things they don’t know

Why do humans treat things they can’t see with more reverence than things they can? Spirituality is the act of making holy the voids in human perception through imagination.

Faith is the act of assigning honor to things you wish were real as if believing them actually meant something. Unsatisfied with Providence and what minimums it provides, we fail to live in the moment through supplemental prayer, always looking ahead and hoping because we have settled for mediocrity—belief someone or something else can make it better. Proving really, that humans can see a much better solution than the framework “god” has provided his pinnacle of creation through religion.

After careful scrutiny we find anything that persuades belief before thinking, is doctrinally sound. Anything doctrinally sound will never be settled without faith.

Who would do that but a manipulative genius who preyed on the weaknesses of human psychology? Religion is basically reverse psychology for grownups, inflicted on our youth to prevent them from becoming grownups—to lead a dependent life.

There is a difference however, between the regular, know-nothing Christian who is trying to make his way through life with tools that have been forced upon him by persuasion and fear, and the apologist who is an apologist because he knows better, but won’t face the failures of religion with integrity.

There is one good reason no man has ever seen god. Anyone want to take a shot at why?

The Splendor of Belief—

After a hard day of dodging tough questions—circle the wagons. Defying integrity demands it!

Faith leads to this. I cannot sum it up any better than to direct you to the secret comments between believers about faith—do not deny! HERE

The comments are particularly good. Gods chosen are judge and jury. Of course they have relinquished there own moral autonomy and know longer no better.

“Backyard in the lowering sun”

To the True Churches

Finding your groove

Years ago when I was a True Believer © (AD, DDa, AWOB), I purchased a piece of property for farming. It was 20 acres below the high-line canal and approved for flood irrigation. It had a swale in the middle sloping down a bit to one side and had to be leveled. Three or four days on a tractor and a laser—or embarrassingly, maybe I could just hold up my hand and command it in the name of Jesus!

—It didn’t work.

After a few days of dozing I came to my senses—I didn’t believe hard enough…God was testing my faith.

It is said that all churches which are founded in error and imposter will come to a shameful end. But if Jesus Christ intends to say that he has established a society of followers who will not fall either into vice or error, these words are absolutely false, as there is in Christendom no church, no society, and no sect which is not full of errors and vices viruses [sic] especially the Roman church though it claims to be the purest and the holiest of all. It was born into error, and even now is so full of delusions which are contrary to the intentions, sentiments, and doctrine of its founder (Paul, P-peter) Because it has contrary to his intention, abolished the laws of the Jews of which he approved and which he came himself and said to fulfill them, not to destroy. It has fallen into the errors of idolatry of paganism, as seen by the idolatrous worship which is offered to its god of death (and child abuse)

And nobody’s is moving any mountains.

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them—Mark 11:23

I didn’t doubt it, or I wouldn’t have done it. —Enter Explanations

Every Christian thinks the other are doing it wrong. In this I agree.

Faith or Pride—Why Not Both?

How Christianity has condemned pride to seal our faith—using pride.

—Faith is actually an enhanced form of pride, then strengthened by intentional humility we subjugate ourselves with untold endurance.

The strongest of faith cannot endure in us once we know truth. Faith however, cannot exist with the slightest amount of proof. It is imperative there is no proof. Here’s how it works.

The mere micrograms of norepinephrine released into the brain when confronted about belief gives mankind a stubborn physiological response—one that overreacts on belief, not fact, over trust, not inquiry. If you’ve ever dealt with indigenous tribalism, you understand this historical point—to challenge their belief is an affront to them as a person.

The truth is, faith cannot be dismantled because there is no evidence. It seems odd, but finding a truth, an artifact, a corroboration of the life of Jesus, Moses, or Abraham would actually begin to break the spell of faith, not the other way around.

It was necessary to present a complete and total whitewash in characters, place-names, events—all of it, in order to manipulate mankind into the total type of faith that is a byproduct of faulty human physiology. Presenting any religious fact would diminish the strength of complete and total obeisance—held by pride but repackaged into a virtue—faith.

Another grand contradiction of the Bible is to beware us of pride, then manipulate our psyche into displaying the most arrogant, defensive pride of all—faith. Think about that.

A great archeological find by near-eastern researchers would be the beginning of the end for faith. They won’t find it, and the founders knew it. It’s a gem of a trick on the crazy neurology and hormones of the human mind—Ontology solved. This is what the founders intended.

Commanding the Elements—Thy Will Be Done

How invoking the name of Jesus only upsets the lottery on weather.

What manner of man is this that even the wind and the seas obey him? Matthew 8:27

A lucky one

Commanding tornados in the name of Jesus gets attention year after year. But, is commanding the weather a miracle, or just timing—and luck? (bad luck for the recipients of such commands).

Anyone that watches the weather can see two things; there’s a calm before the storm then, just when things are plum mad-dog mean as they can get—it quits. While truthfully there is a third option as well. We can all attest that no one recorded the miracle that day, nor were any of the writers present. It’s a story.

Things aren’t always what they seem, even after they seem like it.

Storms come and go, rivers crest, then fall—for all shit rolls downhill right until the miraculous moment it hits the bottom. All bleeding eventually stops and with enough people guessing, commanding in Jesus name someone is bound to be right.

Take two.

A month ago Ark was chastised and Jesus name was invoked—proving this miraculous promise. In his name ya know, believers can cast out devils. Here’s an excerpt—

I am speaking not to you but the spirit of the anti-Christ living inside of you and I command it to leave in the name of the resurrected Jesus Christ…But its all up to you to accept.

So, which is it, Jesus name or freewill? The fact is no signs follow them that believe. No devils are cast out, no seas are calmed by the faithful—hence all the shipwrecks in the history of sailing. Every single one had the prayers of the faithful muffled out by the sound of drowning. It either works or it doesn’t. Ark would be a Bible totin’ believer now, if it were true.

How egotistical for one to believe that god will alter the laws of nature and physics to satisfy self preservation. No life is more important than another, except the one living it, of course.

Raising the dead and casting our demons is relegated now to science and pharmacology. Signs truly follow them that study medicine, physiology, and resuscitation techniques. There are no true believers© on planet earth. Either the preterist are right, or no signs follow them that believe—ever.

Made In The Image Of God

Let me break this to you all gently as “god” (authors of the Bible) tips their hand in the very first chapter. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”… Genesis 1:26

“In the day that God created man, He made him in His own likeness”. Genesis 5:1

It has been repeated ad nauseum that we do not look like him for he is incomprehensible and unimaginable. So what likely is the correlation between man and god? What is his image and likeness?—Behavior—the capacity to be horrible. But by quite the anomaly some of his creatures refuse to do his bidding. To some, the chaos, division, and brutality doesn’t bode well so a few now and then break away and call our own shots to find a peaceful calm, leaving guilt, hate, division, and the killing of everything behind.

Deprecating his subjects as evil is bad form in human upbringing. Children raised in such punitive fashion, the ridicule, the threats and name-calling, struggle to find self worth and peace the rest of their days, then continue the cycle initiated by “god” who continues to shift his morality to keep up with the demands of man—at least the mankind that knows better. We are doing better. And as we struggle to break free from the tyranny, shaking the hive, so to speak, has angered the apologists to the point of ridiculous wordplay to protect their Nero.

With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness. James 3:9 He too blesses himself and curses us if we don’t act like him. God curses us, his servants curse us. Man has proved difficult with his occasional inclination to be kind, to do good, to be accepting of others, which comes to full fruition after leaving the system of religious tyranny we became accustomed to protect.

Does it anger him that we have broken away from the system he created and refuse to contribute to the misery? It certainly angers his servants. If this life were actually a test, the test would be to see if man had the integrity to break away from an obviously immoral system that produces everything evil—all while calling it good.

“To those who believe in God I say, seek not in institutions, books or theological arguments to find God: look at your species and how it interacts with others and with its environment. There is the mind of God in action”—Sha’Tara

Man has created a bible to guide us in continuation of miserable human nature of the time, projecting its own ways on the “god figure” as a progenote of authority, but it is us who have adopted this monstrosity we call god because that is who most of “us” are.

Man’s indoctrinated presupposition that the Bible is good, is the only reason one could consider it good. Its resulting bloodbath and genocidal rage has been inflicted on the world for generations—in the writers name. And the author who despises us, is in our own image and likeness.

Boobies and Faith Traps—By Concensus

How boobies mimic the post religious world

The history of boobies and sailing have made their way through the ages. The fearlessness of the seafaring booby bird has made it an easy capture, and even inspired the term booby-prize and booby-trap for the unsuspecting pranked.

The history of humanity runs a close parallel, which now brings us to Švejk, the towering idiot of Czech literature who distinguished himself with an odd way of communicating—he agreed with everyone on everything.

Being agreeable doesn’t make one right, but it can make one comfortable—fitting-in can be the most tasteful, tasteless state in the human condition, when your facade makes your inner a fool, but as a survival tool—agreeing is safe. Švejk is part history lesson, part type and shadow of the common Christian—the, backdoor, subtle bully system where agreeableness gets you friends, at least until you don’t.

Here’s the catch: To believe (or at least say you do) is harmonious in today’s actually post-religious world. “I have compelling reasons to believe in god. My parents are deeply committed Christians and would be devastated were I to reject my faith. My wife and children believe in god…abandoning belief would be disruptive, sending my life completely off the rails”—Karl Giberson

There you have the root of modern belief. We know better…all of us do, but the status quo and the stigma of unbelief can be too great to contemplate—even though we know the stigmas are inaccurate. Believers are boobies—easily trapped and continuously fooled by their own choice. Because it pacifies. It’s easy, and it’s comfortable.
