The Fine-Tuning of Evolution

Was the universe fine tuned for life, or is life fine tuned for the universe?

The universe isn’t fine-tuned for life, rather, life on earth arose because it could. Just as in the case of biological evolution, life is fine-tuned for the universe, rather than the other way around. —Lawrence Krauss.

Postulating the existence of a God that has nothing in common with us, doesn’t solve anything but only raises more questions.

What we fail to understand now, is the long and winding road how we got here. We do not even know who we are now, let alone where we came from and how, before we were aware of being aware.

Not an Atheist—Am I Going Mad?

Nothing is true because it’s belief

I am not an atheist—I just don’t believe in God. Religion has left me no choice. Being an atheist I don’t believe in this god and that is the standard paradigm. But if I have to believe, it doesn’t exist. No belief between anyone is a consistent description of anything. Nothing is consistent except by memorization, but those aren’t your perceptions of god. They are a consensus of ambivalent confusions.

If God is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, and omni-everything to encapsulate an unrestrained supreme deity, what then, could be in the universe that is not god? Your superlatives betray your doctrine.

The Hebrew god is all these attributes. But really, with all these elucidations only creates more confusion. It would have to be everything, including you as an extension of it. There is no line it doesn’t cross, no realm it doesn’t permeate, no organism it isn’t. Christians are actually pantheist or deists, if you carry the logic beyond its restricted norms, using their own adjectives. According to their own terms, everything is god, (except for you), right?

Traditionally, expressing this knowledge about yourself would be blasphemous enough to get you killed, condemned, or at least excommunicated. It’s hard to control people that knew their divine reality. But really what this knowledge does is put the game in jeopardy. Who would put up with this bullshit if they knew the truth? There is only one power the sim possess—it can shut itself off.

It is not my fault I don’t believe in this god described by the majority religions. It falls short on its own argument and modifiers. If it were real I wouldn’t have to believe it, have to convince myself and others of its existence, because unless you were it, something so distinct from you would be as plain as the nose on your face. If it were distinct from you it would be obvious and unavoidable that this god existed, yet no one can see it. Can a program detect the programmer? Can the curser see the mouse? Dammit!

If there is a god it does not know it. The same as if you were god and do not know it. There would be nothing outside of itself to contrast, just as there is no thing outside of you you could call god without it also being you.

No, there is no deity outside of you or it is not a deity, unless this is a simulation and we just can’t see the programmer through the impulses and diodes. If we did see that god we would find he is an intelligent creature that has no remorse for his sims, and can play and play the loop in the game that causes the most trivial of killing sprees where all his characters have multiple lives.

The Saviors of God

What space travel is going to do for humanity

The creative power (god) has taken shape the way we are shaped. The most imperative venture is to preserve this gift of life elsewhere should something go wrong—keeping us in play should cataclysm strike.

Whatever the case, space travel is a way to save god—to insure that life, awareness, and perception in the universe live on forever.

The theologians have myths, the scientists have theories—and both ends in mystery and ignorance”, Ray Bradbury

Either way space travel is an insurance policy of continuity—to insure that human life continues unbroken. To save god in its current image is our only legacy. Can we pull it off in time to beat the day of doom?

The Art of Nothing

Imagining there is something out there

Is seems religion has an edge on atheism. How does one continue to embellish on unbelief? What new ideas can we pull out of thin air to aggrandize a negative? There are no assumptions to defend, no miracles to fantasize, no mythical beasts or gods to rewrite, revise, conjecture, or expand.

Religion is science fiction with a penalty, where believing the right fiction is coupled with an unlimited license to caricature your wildest dreams into a human right—where making god more better and more powerful than anyone can imagine—right up until someone reimagines it.

God has evolved in my lifetime to incorporate the ontology of science and atheist philosophers. They get it all. Every idea of existence can be attributed to this mythology. You win. I have no deity to defend.

Even the best argument for nothing is laid waist by belief and tradition. Never failing to take credit for solving your existential anxieties—which tend to solve themselves anyway. All bleeding eventually stops. But give god his due. It is you who solves the crisis and always has been. It’s too bad the men of words cannot give credit to you for your own course corrections.

One God is also Satan

How Hebrew religions are at odds
with its own scripture

Satan, the serpent, that old devil nemesis to God and his plan is causing discord as usual. But who is Satan really, and why cover it up?

In the Old Testament Satan and God are the same being. Satan in the Old Testament is the face that god puts on when he is trying his people. “The anger of the Lord” IS Satan. There are sufficient dually written scriptures to illustrate this, such as 1Chronicles 21:1 and 2nd Samuel 24:1. Job 1:8-12 and Job 1:11 along with 42:11 are also a good resource.

1Chronicles 21:1 Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel. So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops, “Go and count the Israelites from Beersheba to Dan. Then report back to me so that I may know how many there are.”

2Samuel 24:1 Again the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, “Go and take a census of Israel and Judah.” 2 So the king said to Joab and the army commanders a with him, “Go throughout the tribes of Israel from Dan to Beersheba and enroll the fighting men, so that I may know how many there are.”

The anger of the LORD and Satan are the same thing—they’re interchangeable. The devilish side of god is also obvious in the Book of Job.

So we have Jesus on the right hand and yet the Bible never mentions gods left hand. Surely if god has a right he has a left, yet it never says. Whose face are they trying to save? Christianity’s “all good” and totally righteous god is a misnomer—for Yang with no Yin is attemptable—but impossible. Hiding your bad side is handy sometimes for social health, but to deny it’s existence? “The goody-goodies are the thieves of virtue.“—Confucius. In the case of religious piety it is the disguise of virtue that has hypocrisy so prominent it dwells on high in the heavens, and is easily used against the gullible and simple minded.

Magic protection crystals

The New Testament does a better job at hiding this, making it more kind than the old, but remember the old serpent slipped out of Jesus mouth too— “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. I guess every knee will bow or else! So much for freewill.

What We’re Made Of

Everything that can be seen in the universe are forms of energy fields

As religion slowly embraces science, the potter has now formed us out of particles and evolution, but did he really make anything at all?

Our bodies and every-thing that can be seen in the universe are made of such particles”—Isabella

By observation a particle is “an excitation of a field”. There is no atom made of conceivable “stuff” which is the imagined building block. The statement might very well read, “Our bodies and everything that can be seen in the universe are forms of energy fields, eg; apparitions. This is the illusion. Man is nothing (no-thing) and just as likely, life is a dream of apparitions—it simply depends on how you choose to frame it.

Yet can anyone escape the illusion? Are not the objects in a dream state or a projection on a screen of equal composition under a microscope? The projection of a hologram is made of the same substance of what we deem physical. So what are we??

We are talking about discrete natural units, or packets of energy hence the word quanta. It is why it was called quantum mechanics/physics in the first place” —Isabella

So god has tricked us—used deception to animate his sims, and you an illusion made of the same stuff he is made of. What would that make you, real or an apparition?

What is Living in Sin?

What is sin and where morals come from

Christian sin—living in an undocumented or unorthodox sexual relationship. This is the crux of Christian morality—that the churches are in fact sexual and family regulatory societies. There is no redeeming liturgy or spiritual achievement. You are forever in need of religion because religion never prepares to graduate it’s members.

Doctrinal issues—do you believe the correct supernatural things? Do you believe with the correct level of humility, knowing full well that the two contradict each other, as belief leads to arrogance? To believe the wrong doctrine is a sin worthy of battle. But who gets to decide what is the correct version of the imagined godhead?

Have you made Jesus your personal savior, and if so, is he the only incarnation of the god (or the ground of being) to use a less contaminated term? Are there other teachings that are perhaps more useful?

The failure of Christianity is this; love your neighbor as yourself, when you yourself have no source from which that well can spring. Loving yourself is the requisite. Without that there is nothing to give.

But in Christian circles you are the fallen sinner not worthy of love, granted only by the lords tolerance and mercy. It’s no wonder the church has never produced the desired results—the order of operations is backwards.

The Thirty Years war was over doctrinal disagreement and which belief was the correct belief—which literally means, which doctrine is more sufficient to keep people subservient to societies upper-crust. Millions died in that conflict alone because the premise is false. It will never produce the desired results because you are born insufficient for the kingdom of god.

HERE is a ten second video illustrating the source of morality.

Who is in Charge of Fine-Tuning?

The seat of consciousness may be organic after all.

The human body contains about 6.5 trillion viruses. They serve us without notice until a new virus enters the system—sometimes benign, sometimes a threat, but it makes one wonder—who is in charge here?

A recent study found that between 40 and 80 percent of the human genome arrived from some archaic viral invasion.

That’s because viruses aren’t just critters that try to make a home in a body, the way bacteria do. Instead, a virus is a genetic parasite. It injects its genetic code into its host’s cells and hijacks them, turning them to its own purposes — typically, that means as factories for making more viruses. This process is usually either useless or harmful to the host, but every once in a while, the injected viral genes are benign or even useful enough to hang around”—Live Science

According to two papers published in the journal Cell in January, “long ago, a virus bound its genetic code to the genome of four-limbed animals. That snippet of code is still very much alive in humans’ brains today, where it does the very vital task of packaging up genetic information and sending it from nerve cells to their neighbors in little capsules that look a whole lot like viruses themselves. And these little packages of information might be critical elements of how nerves communicate and reorganize over time—tasks thought to be necessary for higher-order thinking”.

I understand god works in mysterious ways, but you may no longer be the child of god you think you are. Could god possibly orchestrate his greatest potentiates in such a manner? Or maybe that fuzzy confirmation that god is real, is just one virus to another.

The Rules of the Universe

Since when did religion become so serious? Solving the problem of evil.

The idea that the universe has a specific agenda and demands Christian behavior is laughable, really. The tyrannical father figure of the cultural near-east governs the universe expecting certain liturgy from its inhabitants (he has opinions) that we must believe in him in his secrecy or be cast off forever, right where we came from just a few short years ago. Back to the void? Hardly

Imagine having never existed, that it all began here…and after you die—nothing. If that is the case it defies the laws of energy, as well as being an uncomfortable and strange feeling.

You, can never not be. This physical experience only identifies as unique because it is contrasted by our normal existence. When you identify with yourself, who and what you are, it is never the physical activity of muscles and blood flow, breathing and chewing that composes you. Those things are automatically done in the background, without thought.

What you are is this; an infinite participant in the only possible game in the universe to relieve eternal boredom. All the knowledge and skill in the entire cosmos is at our disposal. There are no surprises or guesses, no waiting or wondering for an everlasting creature with trillions of eons, owning all of everything, knowing all of everything. What would an infinite being (such as me) possibly do to relieve the boredom, to pass the time? Enter into a realm of not knowing.

This blip of mortal existence, only interesting at all for the mere fact we don’t know the outcome nor the beginning. Bookended by two unknown voids, we jump in knowing full well the misery and the fame, the chance and the luck, despair and delight, for every ending we break through to our normal existence, bam! we laugh our ass off because the game gets us every time.

Why else would the truly enlightened refuse to involve themselves in the rescue of human misery? All the worlds a stage. We are a never ending happening of a living universe. Little neurons getting a glimpse of ourselves and experiencing emotions we could never know in our regular boredom.

The Source of Morality

How easy it is to identify the source of morality.

Forging more self discipline and restraint than any supposed morality dispensed by god, humans refrain because of what others will think—and will even claim to believe in god for the same reason.

Morality among mankind is nothing more than consensual dance of personal opinion inside a framework of what societies are collectively willing to tolerate, evolved into fairness bit by bit through trial and error, cause and effect, fear of exclusion (and indoctrination, of course)

Skirting religions own morality, “sin” is still committed in private as it always has been, where few reveal what they do alone (in the sole presence of their god) proves they really don’t believe any of it.

Not to place any blame on them for being human, but for pretending to be much more obedient than they are—because of what their fellow believers might see of what lies below the superficial piety and smiles, while inside the anxieties of endless failure eats away at their soul.

The church has quite a racket going, for who can change their consciousness without even knowing what that is, especially by way of commandment and threat? Revolving door repentance, penance, payments and guilt never cease the failures of an artificial morality no one can meet?

How to know there is no God

“Just out of curiosity do you believe there is no God?” Lander

That is not a valid question. Unbelief is not a belief. Your statement is a misnomer. The evidence that has been attributed for god have other valid explanations (including forgery) In fact, most of what was once attributed to the gods are now fields of study these days. I’m not so gullible to assume these last few pieces to the puzzle won’t be explained in the near future. I’ll wait so I don’t have to backtrack to keep finding cracks to shoehorn in an underwhelming, divisive belief into pseudo-reality.

Out of curiosity, do you believe there are no other explanations for unreliable human perceptions? There are dozens of one cares to look.

THIS 4 minute bird video will brighten your day!

An Enemy to God—The Natural Man

How the natural man is actually embedded in belief.

Being judged and sentenced by believers of god for a passive decision—a process of random inputs, neurons, billions of synapses interacting, perceptions weighed, likes and dislikes and cultural influence considered, simply for not believing a story—merely thoughts.

After having to process this information against my own choice, the ticket has popped out unbelief. What can I do to change that? What should be done to appease the masses…conform to become a natural man—gullible, trusting, yielding, herd instinctive, and fearful since birth? The desire to belong clouds judgement while the powerfully placed men of words and their yes-men apply pressure to consider the supernatural—by coercion.

A natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised—1 Corinthians 2:14-15

Au contraire! A neat trick of religion and the biblicants is defining terms to suit their purpose. The natural man is actually the believing man as evidenced in the obvious. Everyone wants a belief. Since birth we are lied to, fearized, pressured, goaded—and though living in a society of liars we believe nearly everything that we are persuaded to believe. That, is the natural man. Either the believer is the enemy of god as the Bible says, or the Bible has decriminalized our natural tendencies and labeled the unnatural, independent-minded as the enemy. I am not the natural man. Having eyes that have opened through a struggle of librarial pursuit and observation, followed by the unpleasant task of unbelief, integrity will not undo this fact.

The strongest faith can’t protect us once we know the truth. Protection comes through conformity and abandoning honest virtue—integrity comes at a price. We now sit on the fringes of society writing anonymous blogs. Natural man? I’ll leave that to the churches where it’s modern version originated.

Dismantling of Faith

Religions last chance to prove something is by waiting…

If you do not consider god first in all things, there is no room for god in any thing. If one chooses to give faith the benefit of the doubt, there is no room for reason. Whittled away from what once was, faith has suffered a methodical deconstruct of magnanimous proportions. Philosophies expand, explanations more grand, but supernatural positioning is dwindling to irrelevance. All one has to do is consider—

There are very few second chances in religion—None! If facts and scientific reason are considered and tested firstly, no superstition will ever supplant it. Psychology, Anthropology, Philology, Archeology, Astronomy, Biology, and Neurology, have quite nicely explained and proven—contradicting gods word at in-depth, unprecedented levels as never before. Even neurological experiments can re-create the spiritual experience—without the supernatural.

There is but one animal left to prove. Science has conquered belief every step of the way. Creation will be no different. While religion makes its scientific claim without explanation, it too will fall as the final hope for god. Not with why, but with how. I have faith we’ll get there, but many are hoping we won’t. Maybe they should pray about that too…The cosmological first-cause will be their last call.

What will they do when soon, enough is known to discredit this one last gasp of man’s greatest contrivance? Weeping and wailing tantrums against reality? We are on our own—let’s start acting like it. Physics, anyone?

Horrible Ideas Inspire The Most Philosophy—Faith

The simplicity of the gospel has publishers rolling in cash generated from Christian publications.

Before self publishing access boomed in the early 2000’s, about 7500 new Christian titles every year crowded book stores shelves in USA English with cluttered explanations on every jot and tittle. This is when publishers could filter out the weak from the sellable versions. Now the numbers are around 786,935 English language books published are assigned a catalog number per year in the U.S. on Christianity alone. Finding new and improved ways to exonerate the confusion and simplicity of the gospel is a competitive cash-cow of cleverly worded conjecture.

One publisher stated, “Most of our (traditional) publishers are trying to figure out how to get more out of fewer books“. It’s the same story over and over—good luck with that.

We often turn to the Greeks for their wisdom and eloquence in presenting wordsmithing sense into religion using philosophy. Remember, it is a cleverly worded failure from a collapsed society that mixed religion and politics with the grandest, most beautiful of explanations. We still look to anything scribbled in Greek to conjure up validation. They were so eloquent in their words that even fiction has spawned archaeology hunts.

If shear volume of religious commentary are any indication of another society in the brink, Christianity today is ripe for collapse. And someday, hopefully, we’ll all write about surviving that blessing. The most declinitive words to ever influence the numbing of human thought, leading whole civilizations to their celebrated stagnation—Do you believe in god?

When Did the God Legend Get So Inconceivable ?

Over my lifetime the size and scope of god has grown to unimaginable proportions. Here we explore why god has gotten so big in the minds of believers.

When did god evolve to this? I don’t remember it being this unimaginable back in the 70’s and 80’s. Why is their god so incomprehensible that a mere human cannot even imagine him? Is he incomprehensible or non-existent? Theists often end arguments by saying “God cannot be fathomed by mere humans.”

This is the Ad Hoc Argument that theists eventually provide if the discussion goes on long enough.  My god is mysterious and his ways and knowledge are to much for us to understand.  How arrogant we are to demand that god prove himself.

If a god is incomprehensible then it is of no value to us on a daily basis. If it is of no value then it’s existent is irrelevant.  If it’s existence is irrelevant then what kind of god is it?

Christians have run out of explanations. So much so they tap out with “god is unfathomable”, but the red writing in the Bible says otherwise.

“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?” John‬ ‭14:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.” John‬ ‭14:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.” John‬ ‭5:37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So he has a shape and he resembles his son. Go ahead with the metaphorical explanations, but I think Christian apologetic thinking has put their “personal” god out of argumental reach for either side. Am I the only one that has noticed this? According to the scripture it isn’t so, and I’m quite sure based on these verses I could comprehend him—if he was real. It is apparent Christianity is on the fringes of total deism with a tiny bit of jesus and a whole lot of denial. At least deism is a stepping stone to atheism.

God is Shrinking

Denying evidence has the Christian god stuck on a Tilt-a-Whirl going round and round. The more science deniers deny, the smaller the gaps that give room for any god at all. Their god is shrinking. Science doesn’t know everything, but it does know quite a lot. Data continues to grow, and as it does, false premises and pseudoscience themes are stuck in first gear on a round pedal car track, re-explaining themselves over and over, honing the wording to satisfy religious sophistry and maintain fear in its loyals.

When worn out explanations keep repackaging themselves, never coming out of immaterial spirit (what is that) mode and dualism to explain the explainable when perfectly viable research and answers in neuroscience grow steadily year after year, the religion that has bound the minds of men for millennia is finally making its way out the door. Soon. Very soon.

The Bible cannot be taken literally any longer. It is far from inspired truth and those that cling to its allegorical power too will fade. Soon the Bible will only be found in the mythology section along side the rest of the immortals that have gone missing.

God Is Love.. What is Love?

My wife is super cool. She goes out of her way to do things for me, is a hard worker and manages the family like a pro. Every day she tells me she loves me, and every day she is there, doing things that ease my life and make it better.

If she told me she loved me, did nothing to show it, laid around for years on end telling me how inadequate I am and worthless without her, all the while doing nothing herself, I would not believe that she actually loved me. Saying it is not enough. Love is an action verb. It is nice to say, but without any effort or action, it is null.

God is love. Spoken from every pulpit in Christianity like a broken record. What this means, is you need to love others for god to get any credit. If you do nothing, like God personally, then gods love is absent. Why doesn’t he do any of the loving himself? Why doesn’t he feed the poor, but counts on us to do it for him? He is all powerful, yet nothing. But, if you go out of your way to help someone, he gets the glory, even if your an atheist.

The words are great, that god is love, but history has shown since the beginning, that god does not love, that god is absent, and that the preachers are counting on you, from the beginning, because he has refused countless times to do it himself. Or he simply is not real, and never has been.

Don’t forget to look around. Things in religion rarely show themselves as they say, and requires continual words to prop it up.

Other Gods and YHWY Terrorism

Today is the 2,900th anniversary of the alter massacres. In honor of all the priests of Baal, we remember the victims of this blatant act of terrorism.

Here’s a quick summary of Elijah and the 450 priest of Baal. Elijah summons them all to gather around the alter for a little friendly God competition. If you all win, we worship Baal, if I win, we worship the LORD. Each team puts a bullock on the alter. First, the priests of Baal try to call down fire from heaven to burn their offering and nothing happens. Then Elijah digs trenches around his alter, soaks all the wood with sixteen barrels of “water“, And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.”1 Kings‬ ‭18:35‬ ‭

Then the fire of (the Lord) fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.”1 Kings‬ ‭18:35, 38‬ ‭KJV‬‬ -parenthesis added.

This explosion sounds more like a total set up of a terrorist plot using militarized chemicals of the day, and could have easily been performed. 9th century BCE, had plenty of war developed technology with the use of oils, lime and sulfur and others were known in the region to light water on fire .

My guess is water in the pit with some “special” religious seasonings added to it, then a flaming arrow from afar, But no matter, the victors write the history, and after the alter was consumed they rounded up the 450 priests and murdered them (leave no witnesses) And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.” More deceit and double speak, as they all bowed down to worship THE LORD, they were rounded up and slaughtered (1Kings 18:39) So much for peace treaties. Sounds like a reenactment of a Native American surrender or from a scene in Outlaw Josie Wales, or a chapter out of Columbus’ treatment of the Caribs in the 15th century. The Bible account is a historic template for abrahamic foreign and domestic terrorist policy. 1 Kings‬ ‭18 KJV‬‬

God for a Day

My old medic partner won “CEO for the day” contest of a billion dollar company. It got me thinking, what if I could be god? What would I be, and what would I do? Well, I only have one day here every few thousand years. I can’t be everywhere and I’ve got a hundred million galaxies to take care of. I care about my creation and it would be nice to take the best care of it, so I would leave good instructions. Hiding out for no good reason would get pretty old.

The first thing to do, is have my tech guys fix the transmitter. Clear communication to everyone free with online support and a top notch customer service team. I would have a worldwide live news conference and spell out line by line without ambiguity of what was to be expected for civility and fairness and love to all people. This would take about 10 minutes. It would also eliminate the middle man (preachers) but I have something else for them. 🔥 I would not monitor everyone’s sex lives, but warning, the earth is only so big. Easy now. There’s still cause and effect and consequence. Nothing I can do about that. You know who I’m talking to!

Hour number two, food distribution to the hungry. Here goes, “Let there be food to all the hungry”. And it was good. I would end the waiting and answer the prayers that the other guy has been ignoring. I’m not a big fan of prayer anyway, so we’ll add extra support staff that you can actually see and count on, and just have a good life. No more games.

Childhood cancer, and all other cancer and disease…Gone. Poof. I am all powerful, and I don’t see a need to inflict misery on people to prove a point they don’t understand.

I would end animal cruelty and using animals for food. Then I would teach you alternative options to provide safe, heathy and delicious food without having to slaughter everything that moves. They should be able to enjoy their lives too.

I would end pollutive technologies and show you safe alternatives to even cooler stuff.

I would eliminate all taxes and healthcare would be free. I have ways to show you this is totally possible, and actually quite enjoyable. I have ways to look at things you haven’t thought of, so I’d get you up to speed.

Lastly, I would tell the catholic guys they misspelled a word. The word was “CelebRate”. With an R.

It is hard to talk about being god, without using the word “I” a lot. Is this a display of his narcissism, or is it just me?

And as for that question why do all this trouble? It’s just always been this way. I’m no different than you. “If” there was a god, why the game of hide and seek and misery? Why not just be really cool?
