Diversity and Planetary Health

How variety is not only a spice of life, but essential to it

“Other cultures are not failed attempts at being you; they are unique manifestations of the human spirit.” –Wade Davis

Ethnosphere, as defined by Mr. Davis is “the sum total of all thoughts and intuitions, myths and beliefs, ideas and inspirations brought into being by the human imagination since the dawn of consciousness”—the ethnosphere is humanity’s greatest legacy. It is truly amazing, the varieties of life, thoughts, and perceptions that have developed in the various habitats throughout the world.

Every ecosystem depends on vast diversity for its health. Since there are no “separate events” in the world—its all one big happening, ultimately every thing is dependent on every other thing to maintain equilibrium. Is the variety of perceptions and thought, born in the array of surroundings through the utilities of life, any different? Is not consciousness, as natural a resource as any other form?

Enter religion

There is one way of being human that holds itself in the highest of regard. It dismisses naturally grown cultures and interpretations of the world as inferior ways of being. It has done more to destroy the ethnosphere through its total ignorance to the value of variety, and if they have their way and bring everyone to Jesus or Allah, the earth is doomed. The ethnosphere is every bit as important as any natural habitat. When one idea or specie artificially inflates its numbers, it detriments not only its own health, but the well-being of the entire system.

Would it be moral in any way, to visit an indigenous culture for the sole purpose of getting them to think like you (under the ignorant guise of love and concern, no less?) To abandon thousands of years of diverse existence to live the monochrome life, where everyone thinks the same and lives by the same rules, now has nearly the entire planet living in a state of constant anxiety. How superior is that?

Fine Tuning the Biblical God

Step by step—how to dismiss contradictions til the whole package equals the Biblical God

“Do you believe in god?” “What is god?” He says, “you know, the great spirit—the conscious energy force that manifests the cosmos?” Sure, I think there might be some driving force out there, a “great spirit” for lack of a better term.” “This is the God in the Bible. And in the beginning there was Jesus to make it all happen” (hint—this is never the natural conclusion)

When you come to that conclusion that there must be a creator, you then make an unwarranted jump. That the that marvelous designing power that produces all this is the biblical god—now conveniently prepackaged and ready for you to accept. That god who is fashioned in the graven image of the paternal, authoritarian tyrant of the ancient near east. Whose ideas were not won on merit, but by force from the beginning—now sold to the young as the source of everything—even their very worth.

Religion now has a special plan to assure it is the only, eventual choice—which makes it not a choice.

Making the leap to the abrahamic god can only be done by persuasion. It is not self evident. No one makes the leap to this type of monotheism by natural reason. Therefore this god is not natural, but imitation—made in Israel.

When Life is Discovered

How beings on other planets would already know about Jesus.

If we discover another planet hospitable to humans, would it be likely they would have evolved the same as us? If Jesus (the creator of the universe) made all the worlds and inhabitants in his image, surely they will have known of his death on the cross.

Besides, the sacrifice for sin is eternal and would encompass all his creations. No inner-planetary missionaries would be needed for they will already have the WORD. If they do worship other gods, I wonder whose god will kick butt over the other. I’m sure it will be the ones with the highest level of revealed advances designed with the sharpest steel, the farthest bullets, and the best bombs. The god with the best guns will be THE GOD—same as always.

Imagine if they are a bit primitive how much success we could have preaching to those poor burdened souls that have never heard of Jesus. We could make them super happy—like us—and the Muslims of course. Sharing our economic models would be a real treat for them too.

My Older Brother

Born to a fair and middle class life, We wandered and wondered without any strife, four good ol’ boys who loved tussle and swim, to flirt with the girls there was no harm therein, but all that would change from the roof to the floor, when one horrid day came a knock at the door.

Mother and dad were good folks but it seems, they had not yet been schooled in the prophetic dreams, they learned they were sinners and destined to fall, these men at the door who dare gave us their all, instilled in grand doubt and made good things seem pall.

A promised grand life if we follow their book, dad said he would read it but he never did look, he went by their word as a word is a bond, the way old folks did in old days that are gone, so we joined with their church and were baptized us four, and all because someone gave a knock at the door.

Now Sundays were different with no time to explore, we’d sit in the church and keep still to be sure, but being a young lad who didn’t set very good, got my first whippin’ and in the corner I stood, the teacher told dad how I had misbehaved, and I was the lad not even jesus could save.

A dark cloud hung over my once happy face, to be safe and content we did prayers to have grace, but these things they promised we already had, long before the time we found out we were bad, but god we found out he was keeping a score, from the men who had come and knocked at our door.

They taught us of freedom of choice and freewill, then took it away with fear torments of hell, we learned that the devil got into our skins, that gay folks were bad and loud laughters a sin, but I looked for the day I would once turn eighteen, and with two middle fingers I returned to my dreams.

Leaving was easy, adjusting was hard, but still no regrets that I turned in my card, I learned how to choose and the consequence mine, that I could do good without all of the fines, the guilt it still lingers and thoughts come is scores, from so long ago I heard a knock at the door.

Is everyone crazy, I think that they are, confessing their sins and then sinning some more, responsibly daft and delayed recompense, excuses and reasons for time on the fence, waiting for someone to even their score, hate and division then hating some more, ironic hypocrisy blend with the days, the living and loving so often delayed, to wait on another to come make it right, when we have the power to end the long fight.

The Botfly Larvae- A Christian Model

Lessons from nature cover the scope of the human experience. Using the tried and trued model of expansion in the botfly population, Christianity has honed its craft using unsuspecting children and the unprepared masses to deal its bidding.

If you are not familiar, the human botfly proliferates by capturing a mosquito, laying its eggs on the mosquito, then turns it loose. This little messenger then takes the eggs, and finds an unsuspecting human to suck blood from. As the vampirical transaction is taking place, the botfly eggs are injected into the skin. The mosquito isn’t even aware of the damage she is causing, but is carrying a painful and disturbing parasite that will change your very life.

The first clue to the new convert that religion is a bogus and unproven tool, is your prayers offered to remove the botfly will be lost in the space-time continuum, and medical treatment will be required. Prayers to the Doctor! Amen. Trust your instinct.

The Contradiction of Proselytizing

When missionaries come to your door and share with you their belief and testimony, hand you a little pamphlet and offer to pray, what is really going on in their heads, and what part of the doctrine you should be aware of?

“For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭9:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.” Mark‬ ‭6:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if you do not hear their words, you will not be held accountable to their law. If you hear the words and reject it, condemnation and eternal destruction await you. So why do they do it? And remember, this is supposed to be the kinder, gentler version of religion after christ. This makes no sense. “IF” there is a god, missionaries hold a master key to the gates of hell, and they’re sending us in by the train load.

Desperation

raging ragged desperation keep the charade alive, stoke it fan it stay in overdrive, never sleep oft repeat the same words that you heard, soon you must prove but your proof is absurd, and waning thoughts need fresh blood to pump energy to the veins of the craft, when all else fails turn out gullible youth to prove your tales-the best remedy not always true and tried, but new with lies that have felt the heat of a perfectly staged revival without real knowledge can keep the flame alive.

Sell it by zealot!
