To Awake or Keep Dreaming

The process of awakening is often referred to as unlearning. You begin by seeing how you were domesticated in the dream/trance of the planet. When you begin unraveling your domestications, you see that you were fed these ideas about yourself and you use these ideas to build a story of who you are. This is not who you really are, but simply who you identify with for the duration of the play.

You have been domesticated in wisdom—a necessary component to keep the game in play—born merely as a candidate for humanity on probation. Once you learn the rules and follow them voluntarily… welcome to the human race kid, your a real person. Person: from the Latin “Persona”—the mask the actors wear in the Greek and Roman drama” So to be a real person, is to be a genuine fake—Alan Watts. Top that with a belief in faith, and you’ve got a never ending story!

Some games are serious, some are creative. Others may be Baptist or atheist, and others Catholic, etc, all very convincing in their own zeal. Political games too—rights and wrongs, lefts and rights, it’s fascinating to see how each takes their myopic anchoring bias to the precipice of serious, until one sees the game as it is. The scientist is no different—the academic stalwart, tough minded materialist says; This. Is. It!—there’s nothing more, when you’re dead you’re dead! Bravo man, great stuff. Heroic! You’ve even convinced yourself.

Funny thing about science and religion—there are no secrets. Everything is wide out in the open except for one little item; A secret that requires some discipline and trust to keep. And when you see it, you best be careful not to admit it in the wrong circles—the ultimate cultural taboo.

Christianity handled the problem of awakening as well as it could be handled—Jesus is the only god, no more, but mystics in every culture have seen the ultimate reality that we are the cosmic whole (I and the father are one?)

So, what can we take away from this practice? It seems like as many that benefit from it, there are many others that struggle after seeing there is no meaning—that we are all god with no ultimate bosses. There is no sense in ruining the game with too much information, but the clean slate of seeing behind the scenes doesn’t have to ruin it. If anything it should unite humanity in such a way that it becomes the ultimate vacation for every single human. Reclaiming paradise lost is a religious theme throughout the world. But if everyone knew, the gig would be up (again) and the earth rolled together like a scroll (a), with the collective consciousness withdrawn from manifesting as form.

Where the Evidence Leads

If we draw conclusions by simply following evidence that developed naturally from the vast variety of sources (not just our select cultural few) maybe there is something rather than nothing. Let me give you an example.

Is the entire world crazy, or is it reasonable to accept that billions of humans have spiritual needs, unique perceptions, meditations, visions, dreams, and complex neurologies? Then, add the possibility of the data stream, akashic record, or 3D computer simulation, to those skilled in the meditative arts, or the paranormal tendencies of certain neurologies, the worldwide congruent teachings and vision quests of the shaman, the voodoo acolytes, those historically rich in the metaphysical oneness of reality and non-ordinary reality (non ordinary today) they do not even remotely resemble the god of Abraham or any form of omnipotence. Nor does it even remotely resemble Jesus, unless you want to discount every other human experience by creating your own evidence and forcing a lesser way through power.

Perhaps there is more to the story than the judeo-christo-muslim interpretation of the monarchial boss that has NEVER produced the desired results except—add more faith and fight it out. Even physics can merge with spiritual energy and matters of matter, which appears to be just energy anyway.

Viewing all the evidence with a blank slate I could safely say, that if independent research of all these experiences and possibilities were laid on the table, comparing it all without the coercive bias and threat of hell, it does not equal the god of the Bible or Quran (take your pick) and the nearest thing encapsulating science with all the other available information we would find panpsychism—the closest, non-contradictory reality to every idea but one.

Christianity is not a naturally occurring religion. It is a foreigner to a strange enough land.

What Evidence Would Be Enough?

Which came first, the belief or the believer? Evidence for god would be some universal truth, however, the closest proximities to that are the core shamanistic principles and practices common throughout all corners of the world, developed over the millennia by their utility. Nobody had ever heard of Yahweh outside the near east, which begs a question.

Did your belief in god lead you to accept nature as evidence, or did nature lead you to conclude there is a god? If you believed first in god, you’ve fallen victim to the explainers. How many of you as a child, took a walk in the forest and thought, wow, this pinecone is evidence for god, without first being influenced that direction?

“In our standard view of things, consciousness exists only in the brains of highly evolved organisms, and hence consciousness exists only in a tiny part of the universe and only in very recent history. According to panpsychism, in contrast, consciousness pervades the universe and is a fundamental feature of it. This doesn’t mean that literally everything is conscious. The basic commitment is that the fundamental constituents of reality—perhaps electrons and quarks[hence earth]have incredibly simple forms of experience”—Scientific American

Most likely consciousness is not a fundamental feature of the universe, but universe is a fundamental feature of consciousness, not the other way around. It is such a fundamental part of the whole, you can’t separately identify matter from consciousness.

Core Shamanism—A World-Wide Coincidence?

Micheal Harner, who recently passed away, was an anthropologist who studied shamanistic similarities around the world. The foundation for shamanistic studies houses the largest data base preserving the practice.

Shamanism can be seen as a fundamentally spiritual approach to real-life problem solving informed by an animistic philosophy that is practiced by individuals for the benefit of their group. These individuals systematically utilize a technique or combination of techniques to alter consciousness in such a way that they reliably access nonordinary reality.

“Core shamanism emphasizes the shamanic journey, an excursion into nonordinary reality by an individual or group of individuals facilitated by monotonous drumming. The excursion is purely a consciousness experience. The destination(s) of the journey is/are the conventional Lower, Middle, and Upper Worlds. Individuals are taught to journey in a weekend workshop, focused on methodology. Each participant has as a goal in initial journeys the meeting of at least one of their own existing power animals and spirit teachers. These become the indispensable resources of each person for further shamanic work. Participants are taught that shamanism is designed for healing, both of self and others“(1)

Prior to colonialism regular people had access to the spirit realms and these things were forcefully done away with, while the church took control over spirituality—Now you had to go through them, while they swept under the rug ancient practices that gave people personal connections, personal ability to provide for their own spiritual needs, it was viewed as heretical or witchery, outdated or “uncivilized”, but the fact is that there were core shamanistic practices around the world, all different walks of life shared in the same common rituals to seek out higher levels of spiritual connection beyond our ordinary reality.

A common thread—They knew something, (and the church continued to keep their own mystics), while abolishing it wherever they could outside the church walls. Common people didn’t lose their ability to connect with god, but it was taken from them and replaced with a forgery that only provides hope without substance. The churches will never replace what man could originally do for himself, but that won’t keep the church from claiming authority for these things, while all along it was done at a higher level and with regularity (at will) by maintaining certain practices that are largely missing from the modern world.
It is evidenced by Christianity today, each believer going their own way but knows not where to turn, picking and choosing and searching, but failing. The power has always been within you to chart your own spiritual journey, but the churches have destroyed the tools to do so, yet each has gone their own way is evidence christianity has failed the people at a global level.
